  1. The Fins already have a good receiving core with Marty Booker and Chris Chambers. Good thing their o-line sucks and there is no one to throw them the ball.
  2. I know GW is gone, but Gray came with him so I imagine Gray is 4-3 guy as well.
  3. You never can tell in the NFL. Wasn't Pittsburgh ranked ni the 20s last year and they went 15-1. I hate to say it, but power rankings=RJ.
  4. I know next to nothing about motor sports, however I always wondered how important the driver is. In relation to the pit crew and the car itself how important is the driver and what skills are involved with being a good driver?
  5. Thanks for your insights on Bennie Anderson. The thing with false start penalties is that they are completely and totally about discipline. The holding penalties are more troublesome, as I am not completely sure what constitutes holding, as I hear holding could be called on just about every play.
  6. I was watching Headline Sports. (Canadian Sports Channel). Apparently Marv was in Montreal Talking about his book. I did not see the whole interview just a segment and he was talking about coaching either the Montreal Concords or Montreal Alouettes I am not sure what they were called when he coached them. (This was before my time). For you other Canadians or anyone else who may have seen it, Did you see the entire interview?
  7. This reminds me of that Family Guy episode where Peter keeps talking about the urban legends. "A Big Freakin' Rat" or got drugged and woke up without a kidney.
  8. Well said! Do not think she is as hot as Anna, but I think each sport out there is trying to find attractive women to market it.
  9. I just get ESPN Classic Canada. I think I have seen some of these before, though.
  10. Those sports do have damn good women too, but you rarely see volleyball, swiming, skiing or gymnastics on sports highlites unless it is the Olympics. There is one swimmer who is quite hot I see on Canadian Sports channels named Joanne Malar. Joanne Malar. . Not the best pic.
  11. Congrats to your uncle. I respect people who can stay in school that long.
  12. I remember watching the draft tracker that year. I love it when it is about 5 picks before your team picks and you start thinking about who will be there. I kept thinking someone would take Kelsay but he fell to the Bills. It did not take me long to fall in love with the Mcgahee pick, as my friends kept ribbing me about the pick, but we all know who got the last laugh there. I still run that in my friend's nose. I also should add that part of me wanted Eric Steinbach as I thought he was the best player on the board.
  13. Happy Birthday! Tennis seems to have the best women.
  14. I was thinking about the improved line play last year and I think cutting Ruben Brown was a big part in it. It seemed like the Bills were penalized alot less last season than previous seasons. (This might be my imagination, as I have no stats to back it up). Cutting Ruben Brown was a big part of this IMO. It seemed like so much of his time with the Bills I would hear either "Holding #79 offense or false start #79 offense". Also Ross Tucker was pretty solid at LG IMO. I know this team signed Villariall ( I'm sure I spelled it wrong), but opposing defenses use to love to go up against the Bills interior offensive line, however I do this was the case. Anyway I guess what I am wondering is if others agree that the loss of Ruben was a big part of the improoved o-line play. I know the additions of McNally and Villariall were huge. Please do not include the fact that Ruben went to Pro Bowls. Reputation has SO much to do with this, as Zach Thomas has been to several Pro Bowls.
  15. Terrence Mcgee? I think he should be between Irvin and Jd Williams/ Chris Watson.
  16. Did you have any trouble hoping for San Diego Butler's first year there as GM?
  17. Czech Republic wins it all. I didn't see the Czech vs USA game, but it seems the USA played them a better game than Canada did.
  18. Cool. Being so young during the Super Bowl years I never really knew about the personalities of the players. Always loved Tasker, though. He was the guy who stripped the ball from Leon Lett I believe in the Super Bowl? He was MVP of one of the Pro Bowls too, was he not?
  19. Nice Video. Willis is quite exciting to watch. I cannot wait to see the type of numbers he puts up at 100% and starting the entire season.
  20. Congratulations! I hope you are successful in making him a Bills fan. My father is a Raiders fan he was unsuccesful with me. GO Bills!
  21. I do think TD would rather cut him than get a low round pick and I have evidence for this. I think he was offered a low round pick by perhaps Carolina for Antowain Smith and he passed on it and cut him.
  22. I know where you are coming from, but at the same time given that there has been so much success with running backs the last few years with 3rd round picks I would tend to think that GMs believe they can repeat that success. Stephen Davis was a 4th round pick. Priest Holmes wasn't not even draft, your point is well taken, though as Holmes and Davis did not come into their on for a few seaons.
  23. The Fish also gave up a second round pick for AJ Feeley.
  24. The more I think about it the more I think the Bills would have been incredibly lucky to get a 2nd round pick for Travis Hnery. Rudi Johnson was a 4th round pick, Domanick Davis was a 4th round pick. I think these players are about even as far as talent with Travis so why would teams give up a 2nd round pick for a player when they could get a player with equal talent in the fourth round? The only thing I am hopeful of at this point that a team will say now that the draft is far off some team will say getting the immeadiate help will be worth giving up a higher pick. There have been many good running backs selected in the third round as well, such as; Kevan Barlow (I know he did little last season), Brian Westbrook, Duce Staley, Ahman Green and Chris Borwn etc. Thoughts?
