  1. That was Buffalo newscaster Evan Baxter, haha.
  2. It'll be some bald lady that speaks funny.
  3. Boo! The show just got a lot less interesting.
  4. Wow, that was a little crazy. You wonder about the voting. I think there are several variables that can explain, but who really knows for sure. Let me go full disclosure. I am a classically trained musician. My favorite bands/artists are Elvis, Kiss, Judas Priest, Elton John, Alice In Chains, System of a Down as far as pop music goes. I love classical, rachmaninov, prokofiev, mussorgsky, paganini, etc, big band, pre 1980 country, blah blah blah. You get the point. Pia is an brilliant singer. I am in sorta love with her, hell, Im Sicilian. Anyway, I was not shocked to see her go. Her voice is great but she wasnt very endearing, did I care? No, but I know how the public is. i wanna hear her every week just for her talent. Oh well, thats the way it goes, she didnt have the votes, doesnt take away from her talent. I always made fun of this show but some friends got me sucked into it and Ive made it a game. Thats how it works for me, I know a good voice when I hear it and she had one, I know talent when I hear it, and casey, james and pia reallly have it. I am a snob and will never buy these peoples records but they lost a true talent tonight.
  5. I can't watch Scotty without cracking up hysterically!!!! Sooooo funny!
  6. I was talking to my Mom tonight and forgot she watched the show and asked her if she knew who Alfred was and she just started laughing. combine the two, haha I can't argue with the results tonight, was not a fan of either. I liked them more in their auditions. Loved the Elton/Bernie songs! Band on the run was cool but suited Casey and James much better.
  7. WTG Sabres & Enroth!
  8. Losers all around.
  9. but what did probable-cause paperwork say?
  10. I agree, worst performances to date, and what is Steven Tyler talking about? Best show since Beatles show? I don't think so. He has disappointed me. I love old Aerosmith and he really does know music, technically speaking, but have been disappointed with his critiques. Pia was the only good performance, not great tonight. Lauren ok, Alfred is good for his style but I can't stand modern, mainstream male country music but he'll probably have a nice career. Paul killed me. I love I guess that's why they call it the blues but that was awful. Oh, I forgot about Stefano, not really a fan of his voice(his tone and its too clean for my taste) but he did well. Thia has a nice voice but she's not picking the right songs. I'm not a fan of Naima and nothing changed that tonight. I agree about Jacob, love the song though. The rest were meh! I like Casey but didn't care for his performance at all. Nirvana is hard to cover and especially that song. Bad choice. Come as you are might have been doable for him.
  11. Alfred E. Neuman
  12. JP? Are you kidding me? Gonna have to see that. I can definitely hear him doing Rob Halford with the range he has. Although his high end is already getting on my nerves. It's best used in small doses. Here is an interesting take on . Wonder if he will use it on the show, if he lasts.
  13. Here is an obscure Accept tune, well, maybe. Accept Kind of cheesy/sappy but I like it. I like Neon Nights, Princess of the Dawn, Breaker, and Metal Heart(with its bits of Tchaikovsky and Beethoven) to name a few more.
  14. Add this from the Perfect Strangers album Wasted Sunsets. Ritchie really makes it cry, great song imo.
  15. I used to play in a band that covered in my dreams and into the fire. George's stuff was always fun to play even if I wasn't a big Dokken fan. They were somewhat of a guilty pleasure for me, haha.
  16. Split Enz Dokken Too tired to think of any more, I'm sure you have a lot of these.
  17. I do my back to school shopping there.
  18. Eastbound & Down Californication United States of Tara Rescue Me 30 Rock Dexter Louie How I met you mother, kind of corny but I like it.
  19. That's a pretty funny post. His dad was a General in WWII, hilarious!
  20. I picked a great day to move! This should be interesting tomorrow. Hope I can keep a 26' Uhaul out of the ditch.
  21. The many times I've been there Waimea Bay is usually flat, but I've never been in the winter. Would love to see those waves in person.
  22. My mom, the acid eating designer, still dresses me.
