  1. well-you did say that kinda----But I agree with your present statement--and hopefully KB is GONNNNE next yr
  2. my guess--Hauschka deserves benefit of doubt--he is our best player(tied with tre)
  3. but if he loses yards half the time maybe its time for change of pace ivory
  4. u may be right there. ...w good QB play i believe the bills can compete in any game. OL help plus getting a real WR to replace Benjamin would come before LeVeon. But I see your point I never liked Newton from the start. Yes lottsa natural ability--But doesnt work hard and not a real smart player.I see no progression in his game.
  5. take away the money factor and yes he is a perfect fit. but a RB cant get great DE or QB money.
  6. I agree--but I wonder why they abandoned that strategy in the 2nd half? very good point
  7. and he comes thru big time against JAX again with a drop based on dumb play. he shoulda grabbed that with his hands instead of catching(dropping) it against his body. -He does get open ..but is not at all a smart player
  8. including the deonte drop. i call it a drop cause u catch the damn ball with your hands when someone is draped on you--and because it was a drop.
  9. I am very pleased that Allen showed progress today even though most of his weaknesses were on display. He held the ball too long(but not as long as he used to). He has no idea how to throw a screen(but they didn't try too many). Very encouraged by what I saw. The teams penalties were atrocious...mostly penalties that weren't at all necessary..
  10. deonte was great at running out of bounds just short of the flag. decent hands and speed but not the brightest bulb. mediocre move.
  11. this league.....bad QBing is epidemic, They need a development league where QBs learn the essentials. The timing on a screen pass Not getting sacked when you get good protection. Not locking in on the primary. Not throwing a checkdown on 4th and game. I think the problem all lies in the colleges. When you don't have the basics of QBing down;those that pertain to pro football; then you have a dearth of good QBs in the pros. As a result of this..the few QBs that are decent in the league give the QB position way too much importance. One position shouldn't control this league as much as it does.
  12. Frank Gore. But he is more of a power runner..more compact.John Riggins--excellent thru mid 30s--speed plus power.peterson speed plus power. Power seems to be the main theme but the 3 mentioned all had excellent speed. LeSean still very good. But I dont see him having a big season at 33 or 34 or 35.
  13. A morerational statement would be he's not our guy if he continues to often not be able to it the broadside of a barn,,if he stands there like a wooden indian staring down the primary receiver,if he takes sacks after having good protection, and if he doesn't show any touch on a) screen passes and b)short passes where a DB is closing in for a brutal hit. He needs to show that he has the instincts to play QB in the nfl Im still somewhat optimistic
  14. possible. but I think barkley is better --so you could propose the same thing w barkley.Of course we are assuming a 4-5 start vs a 2-7 start caused by our impossibly horrid QBing so far.
