bad luck??? dont buy it. yes they were playing tougher at the beginning but are now playing wimpy---hence the losses. Maybe they just don't have the players who are tough enough. I don't think you can turn that stuff off and on. You need tough grinders to compliment the great skill players(Vaneks and the Roys and the Pomminvilles).

yeah after they threww away that game on MON Nite--dont be silly. Its the effort and the toughness that count. The Bills--exc for Lynch and as few others--need a good dose of that.

I am not an expert on the sabres--but from what I have observed...-when they go into the corners for pucks--esp on D--the other team comes up with the puck 2 out of 3 times.They get outworked ...they spend an inordinate amount of time in their own zone. Hockey is equal skill and toughness. The sabres have well above average skill...but get outworked constantly. They are a wussy team.

I agree...look at Singletary in SF---those guys are playing their arses off for him.

Of course the Bills is more moronic.---But the sabres seem to want to compete with the Bills for that honor. When is the last time we have had less tough teams???---I can't recall squads/ teams this wimpy....

I would agree that american cars--well many of them --are just as good as foreign now. I think mercedes and BMW are kind of a joke with their maintenance costs. ridiculous.

Most companies -esp in manufacturing--which is the subject at hand--don't pay their employees on commission. So before throwing around sophomoric insults you need to focus on the subject. Health ins. is part of the pay package.Companies will not pay the employees at a level which would make the co. unprofitable.(ohhhhh--exc for GM &FORD ) Hourly and salaried employees naturally forego some wages for benefits. These benefits are gladly paid for by the employer due to the payroll tax savings.

You are being overpaid when your company pays way more per employeee than its foreign competitors...and you are asking for a taxpayer bailout. The govt and taxpayers DO have something to say about the wages of an industry when it has its hands in our pants.
