  1. i liked the old set up..went to the large new place....ehhhh.. not the same..
  2. I like Edwards. He is mentally tough to a point....although he loses focus in the red zone too often. He is very cool in the pocket(which takes mental toughness). I think for a guy who has played a season and a half only and has had a serious concussion..he has done well.-He needs MORE toughness mentally if he wants to be an excellent QB in this league.--Look at all the really good to great QBs.-All of them freakishly mentally tough.
  3. I think you can question mental toughness. Physical toughness...-unless its some FG kicker ---is hard to question. Although of course--some are tougher than others. It is relative.
  4. bubonic plague famine hootie and the blowfish
  5. not unreasonable...i hope u r right and not me... i see buff at 7-9
  6. weichecs wings are ridiculously good....but thats a ways to go into a mediocre neighborhood for tourists
  7. go up to Wilson----do some jet skiing or boating in that beautiful harbor--then relax and have dinner and a few coctails. oops --with a 6 yr old----still go up to wilson but the coctails and jet skis will be nixxed of course/.There is stuff for the little one there.
  8. Tarkenton was the athlete that Dougie was...but was a much much better QB than Doug.
  9. thats quite an admission..lol....-He was a darn good QB though....top 60-80 of all time maybe
  10. true Fergy had a good strong arm...but thats not all u need with wind and weather..Montana had an average arm but the ball got there
  11. Simon Cowell and the shamwow guy...thats what i heard
  12. yeah he was 41 yrs old..at some point....
  13. gag,cough...please dont mention Trent and Fouts in the same sentence. Fouts is one of the all time great QBs. Please.-And while he didnt have a cannon his arm was still stronger than Trents.-And he had laser like accuracy and maybe the best touch of any QB to ever play...-Given that I like Trent. he can become a good QB in this league if he avoids concussions and loses his wimpiness.
  14. well if he smoked enough pot he wouldnt get so down..... like you do when you use hydrocodone or heroin
  15. Alec Guiness Spinal Tap interviews Breyers mint Chocolate chip Laurel and Hardy
  16. Edwards arm is a bit stronger than Chads. Chad has proven that he can consistently finish off drives.trent still needs to develope in that respect. AND trent is concussion prone.Another bad concussion...and could be bye bye career.
  17. Saying that Dilfer is anywhere near the QB Flutie was borders on insanity. Dilfer was an awful QB. He was a dufus screwup at the beginning of his career. Then went to Baltimore--where granted he didnt screw up enough to lose them the SB while having arguably the best defense of all time. Then as a thanks for his great work baltimore cuts him. Ends up career in SF where he played the position at perhaps the lowest level in NFL history since RJs last pathetic hiccups in tampa bay.
  18. That SD game was ferguson at his high point I think.---And a lot of throwing in brutal winds is not necessarily brute arm strength but intuition of when to throw(ebb and flow of winds--judging them--a skill developed playing ball in the back yard as a kid I believe)...and the ability to throw a tight spiral. Montana had that ability even though he only had a very average arm strengthwise.
  19. Those are the big 3 right now . Dwight is a tad behind because his offensive game is not polished.
  20. Cookie--forgot about him. Stellar athlete.
  21. of course---he would be a very good qb----just like he was in the 70s and 80s. He was reasonably mobile, good decision maker...laser like accuracy on his passes...and well above average arm strength altho not a cannon.
  22. Happy Birthday to one of the best posters on TBD...
