  1. Thats a good memory to share. God bless your mom and Kent.
  2. you got me there--thought you were referring to his ego..
  3. He didn't look well...way overweight also. ---My gosh what a humble guy.A real sweetheart and a real softy it seems.
  4. above average for a 13 yr old. For an NFL QB this guy has a lot of trouble throwing long passes and out passes. He needs to get a running start and give it everything he has just to throw a 50 yard pass. An NFL QB should throw 50 yds with a flick of the wrist. That said--Fitzy gets the ball there usually --especially over the middle--and hits guys in stride--very important.AND...I think he is in the top 3rd of QBs in the league. The 2 underthrows weren't due to lack of arm strength or mechanics. He just made bad passes. He was too careful with the throws.-Even throwing off the back foot---a QB should automatically make that adjustment and put more oomph into the throw. He just didn't get it done.--Still love Fitzy though---he's a good QB.
  5. Our DBs are above average..and lets hope McGee stays healthy you could see what a real pro he is by yesterdays performance after the long layoff. On the D front 7 Williams is very good, Dareus is good at this point,,,...and then......well lets hope some of the young guys step it up. Kelsay is too old and slow although he is a decent football player.-We need another D lineman--and at least 2 LBs.PLUS a few of the young guys at LB need to step it up. Merriman shows brief flashes but he should be farther along at this time. Our D front 7-with the emphasis on the LBs- is well below average in the league at this point.-I think our D overall is slightly below average.
  6. Of course its not all on Fitz. But he did not have a good game--despite having decent stats. Even more than the 2 very bad intercepts he threw at critical times--was the poor judgment he showed several times during drives that killed our momentum.-He did some good things---but he was the biggest factor in losing the game. I dont think the D was that bad. In fact it had more stops than in the past several weeks. All that said Fitz is a good QB -and without him this team is absolutely nowhere.
  7. we can take him out there in a golf cart for goal line stands. 40yrs old 400 LBs.
  8. yeah Fitz had a mediocre game(he did a few good things too along w the few butal mistakes and the seeming lack of focus at times). But lets not forget his strengths. With his athleticism he can make an average O line look very good.He throws well over the middle and usually catches the player in stride so he can run. He is gutsy. He doesn't fold after making a bad play. He is probably in the top 30% of league starters in spite of his accuracy problems and questionable arm strength.
  9. I dont think it should put to rest anything about kelsay and merriman. and who said williams has been bad.? this defense played just as well today as they did with those guys in the lineup. McGee is a huge upgrade for us at corner. Florence was bad---but McKelvin wouldnt have done any better. In fact Florence's 1st pass interfernce saved a TD
  10. I'll give you the Williams--dont think we missed the other two. Our D was actually slightly better than it has been(minus the big turnovers of course) Too bad because I think The Giants are the second worst team we have played.
  11. Fitzy had a bad game. We can't win with him not being sharp. He just wasn't mentally sharp --like he was in a fog.
  12. Gutsy is right.-thats why we love fitz--doesnt fold even when he isnt having his best game.
  13. Fitz is looking like an average QB today.-And the D is about its usual self overall--but in a different way due to the different personnel. Lets see what this team is made of now.
  14. yeah very good. -only real complaints about our game so far are the squandered 2nd and very shorts
  15. good penalty by florence that was a td
  16. roooosevelt?????? didnt know he had that in him!!!!
  17. love that direction change at end!
  18. Fitz has more of a musket than a rifle. Not very powerful or accurate -but got the job done most of the time.
  19. I think the Bills have dipped into the 10 million wannabes a few too many times.
  20. I believe he said IF we were 2 pieces away then maybe we go fo the WR trade.Which meant he doesn't think we are 2 players away from a SB. Since LT and Bruce are too old....I'd agree and say we are 3-4 pieces away.-Front 7 preferred.
  21. lets hope they dont do something that foolish
  22. lets hope you are right. i see teams blowing down the field against us way too easily to be as enthusiastic as you are..-i see our D line holding up much better than last year --and i see our DBs doing a decent coverage job and an amazing ballhawking job. the question is then...why are teams so easily making mincemeat of this D-esp in crunch time?? To me that leaves a good bit of the fault with linebacking skills/talent.-Maybe you r seeing something Im not there. I really hope I am proved to be completely wrong on this. Cheers
