There are no Luck sweepstakes anymore.Indy won the sweepstakes.Brilliant job Polian..again. They have a franchise QB for 10 years and will get a #1 for Peyton.Peyton to a good team with a so-so QB that can contend for the SB--like Chicago,the Jets.

Injuries are the excuse of bad franchises. Our D was bad before the injuries. And our slide started before most of the injuries occurred.

At least the d kept fighting in the second half.That was good to see. Gotta look for something positive in this joke franchise.

sjb-sometimes i wish you were Bills GM.not joking. the concussion issue is one i wasnt aware of.-One thing I would like to add is that he will be expensive.And as much as we are under the cap we have so many D front 7 holes and O line depth issues that I dont think it would be money smartest spent.-No doubt he is a super talent though.

yeah 3.9 yards per carry...lets clear out a space in canton for him. The guy is 2 yards and a cloud of dust w the occasional good run mixed in. Not even close to being a great back and not 1st round pick quality. And 3.5 yards per carry last year.Thats actually hard to do as an NFL starter. He stinks worse in seattle than he did in Buffalo. Sorry to add a dose of reality here.

Still a Fitz fan and a Gailey fan...although the 3 games previous to the jets reprise certainly had my faith on the ropes.YES on using his legs more(an undertapped resource--Fitz is a good athlete) and YES on risk taking-esp after Ds have been drawing in/tightening up on 'us'. Fitz needs to take control more in the future and will himself and the team to good performances if he wants to move up to that next level of QBing. 3 game rough patches will happen.3 game disaster stretches just can't be allowed to happen.

in the pic he looked to be maybe 280-300 LBS...which was a huge weight loss for him.he played at at least 350--probably way more. i think when people talk decreased life expectancy for NFLers you really need to do comparisons with non-athletes or non-NFLers at similar weight levels. then proper conclusions can be drawn.-there are so many factors...such as the effect of going from super strenuous activity down to relatively sedentary lives in retirement. long distance runners are always advised to very gradually reduce their activity levels when they wish to not compete anymore...So many factors as to why NFLers have such short life spans.

Mgmt better make a lot of good moves very rapidly.D front 7 please.Best talent available.Not a good idea to cherry pick some guy who just had some good sack totals in college.And we need a couple of Hangartner types in FA in addition to one or two starter types;not only to fill in for the injured but to spell the starters.High picks on WRs or CBs or RBs is craziness. Thats not a luxury a talent thin team like the Bills has.

We have 3 legit NFL starters on the front 7---minus the hurt Williams makes 2.-Edwards is likely a bad coach.But do we really know that? Yes we probably have to get someone else in there(please not wanny--never been a fan of his).But I am not sure what Bill Parcells himself could do with that mess

I think most rational people would find it difficult to be thankful for this mess of a franchise. Incompetence is given new meaning by this franchise.Everyone --well nearly everyone-will be respectful of Ralph when he dies and there will be loving tributes etc. But he has profited greatly from the blind support of Bills fans from western New York and southern Ontario.

Simple.Build from the inside out.All the good franchises do that. Yes we need CBs and WRS...but it would be crazy for us to spend our top 2 or 3 picks there.Hopefully we have learned our lesson. Wood,Levitre,Dareus...we should have had 4-6 more of those type guys on the roster by now.

Now thats a strong strong group.Among the players Atwater,Doleman ,Bettis,Brown,Haley(scary guy) look like the surest bets.But I don't see any of the names that I would completely rule out.
