CJ can be a great weapon. But hes not an everydown back who can run into the line.He gets squashed like a bug in traffic. Get him 15-20 touches per game w the play designed to get him a into space.Fred gets 15-20 touches as well handling both power runs and outside stuff. That would hopefully limit the amt of passing that Fitzy does-and give us increased time of pssession to give our D some rest.
Would be foolish to get rid of Fred.
Donte...slightly above average safety...hard hitter-prone to take bad angles on runners in open field...zero ball skills...looks better with good cast around him to cover up his lack of ball skills. same old same old.
sometimes hes pretty good. Solid B the first 7 games.Solid D+ the last 7 unfortunately. This is
way worse than what he did in Cincinnati or in Buff last year .-He just never responded the way he should have after Sanchez personally tried to hand us home game vs Jets.
we need to keep stevie.he is our big threat at WR. lets hope he grows up and stops choking at important times though.
WR is not a big problem of ours right now.LB,DL,CB,OL,QB in that order are enough to handle at this point.
poz ,whitner,evans--all good moves. problem is we have to do something positive on the other end. poz is an average LB who got paid a mint. whitner has no ball skills altho he is an ok tackler.evans---old/injured now most of the time.we got a 4th for a guy who woulda played only a few games--and even if he did try to play well for us his forte is the long route which fitzy cant throw.
I'd rather have Rivers than Flacco or sanchez as well. That said Rivers still makes critical
mistakes at critical times.Often.-that puts him a solid level below elite IMHO.
Spiller is def a weapon. Hes not a carry the load up the middle guy. But a serious #2 threat who needs to be given
some space to work with. He is a threat to go all the way once he has a touch of daylight.
I don't get the maher is not funny opinions.but I guess we all have our views.
I think he is a brilliant comic--not so much in stand-up.I don't like or admire his opinions on
more than half of what says--so I don't watch the show anymore.
I felt Carlin was one of the great comic geniuses. And even though he tended(not always--not by a longshot) to
be kinda liberal-I just loved his humor so much and his intellectual honesty so much that I would never miss anything of his.
Perhaps some of that had to do with the fact that you couldnt predict his opinions on different subjects.-
Admired his independent thought, literacy, and toughness- although at times his 'logic'
escaped me.
The belief in atheism has always struck me as having a pinch of pride and a dash of irrationality
at its core.
I love Maher's wit but don't admire his unearned affect of intellectual superiority.Thats what you get when you mix a smart funny guy with a poor education.
