Of course.Although a 30th pick wouldn't be as attracive. If Freddie were 27 or younger he'd garner a 1st half of the first round pick. Right now he is worth a 2nd or 3rd rounder. -But I'd hate to trade him. He's OUR Fred!!-He is something great that the Bills did that no other team did.Those occurances are few and far between with this franchise the past 12 years.

What position did I want?? I never mentioned that I HAD to have a passrusher. But if the best player isn't a passrusher then i'm perfectly happy with a fat slob runstopper or a solid o lineman. the good teams build from the inside out.--We had very good CBs a few years back---with our usual horrible line play--and it got us nowhere. --If an exceptional corner is out there at maybe 3 and at a stretch 2 then OK. #1 should go to the line or LBs.

Just not with the first pick sjb--thats all I ask. Not on this team.

sanchez did everything in his power to keep the bills in that 1st game after his team was steamrolling the bills up and down the field the whole first half. lets give him some credit.as bad as sanchez is - we are worse.

I love Andre's game--but Tim Brown was a better football player...and Chris Carter was at least as good.Doleman,Haley,Dawson,Bettis,Roaf look pretty solid. Just not sure there are enough spots for Andre. Parcells--most overrated coach of the modern era.Has done very little without Belichick.

overall--i think the team was better in '10 than '11.We were much more competitive.We didn't get blown out as much. And the early season losses--and some of the other losses--were by very close margins. I am not sure how well that bodes for a rebuilding process.Throw in the fact that Fitz regressed and that Williams and Woods health are now big issues.

I would rate Polian as a very very good GM.not great.I think he made a few big mistakes(Smerlas for one)that cost the Bills big time- constructing the team with too light of a defense.we were outsized and muscled in the SBs. The Indy SB was deserved but they were a bit lucky/fortunate that year. And many of Indys playoff teams got dispatched pretty easily .A Polian team would never have sniffed the SB w out manning--and a cassel led Indy team woulda been 8-8 max.However,gotta give belichek the genius credit for that 11-5 year.I'm really not so sure how great the NE GMs were/are.There are a handful of coaches in history who affect that equation at that level...Walsh,Lombardi,Belichek,......and now Harbaugh.

right on.to take a qb just to take a qb makes no sense.we need the best player available who is a D front 7 guy OR qb.even if he isnt a great passrusher--there is no assurance that Kyle williams recovers from his injuries fully--and we still need that 3rd D lineman if it comes down to it.Yes-I'd rather the best player available be some monster LB or DE who is a great passrusher..

i agree with you. but manning may not go to wash or miami if he feels they cant contend.

Polians competency at present is a moot point.Ralph wouldnt hire him.

a top flight QB helps a lot. more than any one player elsewhere. but you are right this team is such a colossal mess.--if a top qb is avaailable you gotta take him. however,i say draft d linemen and LBs and an OT the next couple years.at least get some core strength on this team.

cant see a rational reason for not drafting luck;unless you are a dumb owner and choose to outsmart yourself. manning has a 50% chance of making it through a season with his age and neck.that colts team is a lonnnng way from contention even if they load up on low picks. even if those picks are all very good(small chance of that)t are a long way off. they should rebuild with luck. they can probbly get a 2nd rounder for manning as well to boost their draft and get the rebuilding going. but we are talking about irsay.....-he could mess this up in a big way ala ralph.

No single player is completely to blame.But Fitzy stunk for 9 games this year.He was a big part of the problem.

half the season beginning starters arent legit NFL starters. and two of our best players..Wood and Williams have very tricky potentially career shortening injuries. swiss cheese is what come to mind. right on. people dont seem to get that. you lose people every year due to age/injuries etc. You need good drafts over several years plus add'l smart moves just to have a winning team consistently.Having 5 holes or 8 holes or whatever isn't gonna get resolved by bringing in 8 players.The Bills horrendous drafting over the past several years as well as other horrible personnel moves have made them the stinko team they are.

Peyton is taylormade for a contending type team w a weak QB situation.If hes lucky he has 2 yrs left. He'd never go to a team like the Bills. Jets,Ravens 2 possibilities.
