  1. Martin,Glenn or Lavonte David---would make taking a CB in the first easier to take.Although I dont think Buddy had any choice.he was by far the BPA at one of our areas of need.
  2. Buddy has done a very solid job so far.But we all know its a work in progress..and this draft-yes-will tip it all forward toward excellence or back toward averageness.I don't think, given what Buddy has done-that even a mediocre draft can make his regime a failure. Solid pick in Dareus,CJ(working out now that Chan finally figured out how to use him),Williams,.. all solid. Lets hope we don't outsmart ourselves by picking a WR(worst scenario) or CB(a need but not our top need). The engine still needs work--LB or OL or even D line-cannot have too many( I recall a Giantfan friend early last season saying that the Giants have no DBs..)
  3. pronounce it quickly--whatever you do
  4. barnett--good LB-but older and injury prone. Sheppard...sheesh--I'll be kind and say unproven. There is plenty of room for Kuechly. What are your thoughts on Sheppard SJB? I admit to not being tuned in that much to his play last year--But when I did notice him I wasn't that impressed. Am I missing something?
  5. which ends up being a duck 3 out of 4 times anyway.
  6. I think just the opposite.I like McLovin as a returner(exc in critical-last minute situations where we need to play it safe) and don't like him as a CB. In 7 years he hasn't learned to turn around and look at the ball.In fact his fundamentals have deteriorated each year.
  7. We have one legit LB starter on this team.If that aint at least #1 priority W/ LT I'd be shocked. That CB or WR better damn well be BPA by a longshot to take him at round 2 or 3. Fix the engine first THEN look at the Michelin tires. Until we solidify the D front 7 and the OL the engine isn't fixed.
  8. complete waste..will probably break his foot like a lot of big men.
  9. Cutler,Romo,Rivers..just the kind of guys that drove Bill Walsh insane.Talented but play just well enough to lose the big games and choke in the clutch.
  10. ....-this is the Buffalo Bills. An awful football team last last year with an awful defense. We get one great D lineman and all of a sudden we start grabbing WRs with our top picks?? Lets hope not.
  11. there are 10 good QBs on that list---the rest are schlock.shows the state of the QB in the NFL.
  12. I put him around 18-25.Which just shows how awful the QBing is in the NFL right now. His last 9 games last year were sad---and he regressed. And don't give me the injuries excuses.I took that into account. Still a fan of the guy---he is tough, gets rid of the ball quickly, can run...and is in no way shape or form a wuss.
  13. having a dumb mgmt team makes that stuff happen... so its as much the dumbness factor as the on need factor.
  14. maybe he's dyslexic.i think once you start scoring less than 25% on this test its actually a positive.
  15. broken record i know......but build from inside out. BPA O line,D line,LB. no CBs,WRs in the first round. The Buffalo's and detroit's of the NFL have drafted from the outside in w the expected results.
  16. Your reasons for not taking a LB are ..well...questionable. We have the worst LB core in football. And because you think Wanny doesn't blitz LBs and 'no LB can cover Gronk' you think we should pick a WR or CB at # 10?? The only reason to not take a LB at #10 would be if the value isn't there. And in that case you go O lineman-BPA-priority at tackle but open to Guard--OR even more D line depth. That gaping hole in the Bills D between the line and the DBs isn't going away without help at LB.Yes--switching to the 4-3 helps.Yes the talent infusion at DL helps. But this was close to the worst D in football before Kyle went out.--And our O line was average at best--helped statistically by Fitz getting rid of the ball and Chan designing plays well(at least early in the seaon). There was often a very good push on our o line-which Chan smartly countered at the beginning of the season.
  17. i could live with that draft i honestly haven't seen the kid play...BUT.. if he has played at a top level then i dont see bad track meet and weight scores being that big of a deal. I don't know how many of you remember the superstars competitions--but a guy named Reggie White didn't do very well at all and that included the weightlifting part.Football strength and football speed and quickness dont necc=combine stats.
