i love this country as well.....but what we are doing to the next generations with the massive debts..and not securing our border the way any civilized nation should----I am not so sure that at this time we are 'the best' nation. you can tie the border stuff in with a lot of the lower test scores----but thats just part of the problem and doesnt excuse the miserable education the inner city kids (mostly blacks) get. i guess overall we still are the most powerful.....but a lot of smaller countries outperform us in many ways.

bill parcells= highly overrated. he can thank belichek for much of his success.on his own he was very very average. -But they were GREAT game managers-and thats a good part of how a QB is judged.And they were all accurate passers.So talent was a good part of that game managing.--Gibbs Was a great coach in his prime. Strange how he seemed kinda lost when he came back under little Danny. Probbly a combo of his not keeping up with the game, thinking that he could just get back into without too much sweat, and little Dannys awful mgmt team.

Belicek wasnt horrible in Cleveland.He went 11-5 one year.The idiot Browns drove him out of town--just like most lousy franchises do to their talent--saban-knox-polian-. And he also went 11-5 with a mediocre QB when Brady went down. Sorry to put reality/facts into the discussion.

The same Bills that the NE PATS scored 49 straight points against in a game toward the end of the season.The same Bills that were getting blown out by lousy teams down the stretch last. We added a great d lineman(who missed most of last season to injury)..we drafted a potentially good O lineman and CB. We signed a d lineman NE didnt want for the price. And now we are SB contenders?.....It was a very good offseason. But lets stay in reality. We have an average O line that may be improved this year. We have a D line that should be very very good if people stay healthy.We have mediocre LBs and average at best QBing...and average WRs. This team could go as high as 11-5 because of an easy schedule--but reality is 8-8 or 9-7. We should be much improved.

..or go the mediocre qb/dominating D route and pkg to move up for a stud d front 7 guy?? It is looking like we are 2 LBs and a starting QB away from serious contention--but would a stud LB and another vgood Dlineman(or vice versa)accomplish something similar? FA looms big again next yr as the bills will likely be picking 18-24ish.

vince young is as good a qb as fitzy is. fitzy will just drive the fans less insane because he usually makes smart decisions..-and he isn't emotionally immature. but i think ole vince gives your team just as good a chance to win as fitzy does.who would i rather see start? fitz.

He obviously got a good deal on the house. Other than the nice stone...I really don't like the place.He needs to put some money into landscaping. A 10 million dollar house in SF bay area,CA would have about 120,000/yr in property taxes.So on this sized house you'd be better off in Buffalo -for an equivalent type place. But you could get that house in Sacramento area for about 3 million.And prop taxes would be about 36,000 /yr. So better off in SAC,CA . Its really a wash in most of the normal price ranges.And in CA they nickel and dime you in other ways to make up for the low prop taxes...

Fitz needs to improve where he can improve...in the mental side of the game.He is not going to become talented all of a sudden at age 29 . He needs to be more of a leader.And he needs to understand his significant talent limitations. The fact that he is an average QB speaks well for his toughness,smarts and hard work.

If we could have finagled(sp?) a really good LB this offseason this woulda been an alltimegreat offseason. As it is it was excellent.

Shaq??? i put him in the top 500,000,000 OJ,Jim Brown,Jim Thorpe,Dr J,Lebron,Jordan,Willie Mays. I count guys that could do awesome things that others just couldnt do. Not some overall kinda guy(altho that guy could qualify if one of his talents had the wow factor-Thorpe).
