  1. we are strong at DT and safety.....and RB. Lets hope the rest of the team starts to catch up.
  2. the real idiot isnt Mckelvin. The real idiot is the coach----who unlike any 8 yr old who follows the Bills---doesnt realize that McKelvin is clueless around a moving football..
  3. Probably what the average brain surgeon has socked away. Isn't life ironic?
  4. Leodis is fine--the coaches need to go. Anyone putting leodis in coverage needs firing. Any decent coach puts him on returns(exc when the game depends on a non-fumble at the end) or maybe even on offense somewhere. But he has the defensive ball skills of the last kid picked in gym class.
  5. i think we have talent on this team....but itll take 2 yrs to get some LBs,a QB and a change of coaches. tell me coaching isnt the problem when we put Leodis out there on coverage.Leodis has world class speed and shiftiness---and ball skills of the last kid picked for the team in gym class. dysfunctional franchises work that way
  6. so true. yet what should be more maddening is the fact that the top notch Buffalo coaches keep thinking that he will figure it out in this lifetime. who is dumber?? leodis or our coaches?..an 8 yr old kid who watches Bills games can tell that Leodis can be right on the receiver--blanketing him---and still wiff on the ball. So if the 8 yr old knows this and our coaches dont know this. Perhaps the biggest weakness on this team is the coaching.---And now that D coordinator from last yr. isnt looking quite so awful.
  7. we were good in the early 80s...we were entertaining as heck from 72-77....this is way more humiliating
  8. was rich on the nasdaq stock market bubble, was poor on the nasdaq bust, was rich on the real estate bubble, was poor on the real estate bust..still poor but clawing way back up
  9. our D coordinator from last yr--forget his name--is looking pretty good right now
  10. i missed the game ...-and i just read about how bad it was. how embarrassing.
  11. thigpen and million dollars in the same sentence......-ed rutkowski was a better qb---and he didnt make a million til he was county executuve
  12. Zepp---as much as I love Bruce's game---and Bruce was a very clean player----that was a laaaate hit on Montana.Shoulda been a penalty.
  13. True--Emmit is not even in the discussion for the greatest of all -time.shouldnt even be mentioned.
  14. I think if you are under 35 its very difficult to judge all time great QBs. You just havent seen enough football. Even at 54 I have to admit that i didnt see Johnny U in his prime...or Baugh , or Otto Graham. Brady is certainly an excellent QB due to incredible cool, the ability to slow the game down, a good not great--but accurate arm. He is certainly top 10 from the last 40 years.---I do not, however, see him as the type of QB with the skill to carry mediocre teams on his shoulders like Marino and Elway did. I will give Brady credit as being the closest thing to Joe Montana in the 'keeping your cool' dept on the field.
  15. bunch of young guys saying peyton peyton peyton. i put brady at around #8.--which is no insult. peyton around 7. montana 1. elway 2(he carried --and i mean really carried some mediocre denver teams to deep in the playoffs).Marino 3. Steve Young 4. Fran Tarkenton 5. favre 6(only equalled by elway, marino in sheer talent dept--woulda been no 1 exc for occas brain farts) Danny Fouts and Kenny anderson round out the top 10. apologies to the pre 1960s guys like sammy baugh, johnny U ,Otto Graham didnt really see ya cant judge you
  16. roosevelt---mistake by chan. all the guy does is catch the damn ball hagan--like the guy he will get pciked up by another team soon
  17. more mediocrity in at QB for the Bills. Too bad this position wasnt addressed in the past couple of years.
  18. fats washington was the one of best run stoppers in the history of the game. immovable force controlled the LOS.
  19. world class....vick is a world class athalete--greatest qb athalete ever--great physicality at the quarterback position.
