Someone around the league---or perhaps the entire city of Houston--knew that Mario was a fraud as a player. Were people snickering about how dumb the Bills were to sign this guy for a zillion dollars??..Someone had to know. Anyone here from Houston?? The only other explanation is that the guy suddenly forgot how to play football in his extended offseason. This is the thing I just dont get. How in the world could such a colossal mistake have been made?--Can anyone on this board think of a bigger miscalculation on a young veteran of the NFL? We aren't talking a college kid here. The guy played in the league for years.

I care muuuch less than I used to--Im over a loss in about 5 minutes. The one thing that p*sses me off more than anything though is the STUPID coaching and playing-----not just the bills but most other teams in the league. The quality of the overall product with the exception of a few teams has really sunk. For every NE or giants there r 10 teams that are badly mismanaged,poorly coached

we were talking about the most fun,unique, workable,popular stadium on planet earth. but with this real estate downturn I only have a few grand in the bank---so my funding situation is not great at the moment.

Great athlete,good QB...and still a great athlete for 3 yrs after we acquired him at nearly age 36. Goofball ralph chose him as starter vs Tenny--- a game we woulda won by a mile if Flutie played. Right on. When Doug finally started the Bills did a 'Singletary to Harbaugh'-like turnaround.

Agreed that indy has a very nice downtown. But being the 12th largest US city is grossly misleading. Its metro area population is smaller than kansas city, sacramento,orlando,cincinnati....and is just about on par with Columbus,Ohio. A small NFL city...with an admittedly lovely downtown.

I agree with pearlhowardman----the people making the coaching decision would still be a part of this regime. they would screw it up somehow--no doubt about it.

My sentiments exactly. Chan is an awful head coach. He has no clue. he blew last game as well but was saved by a clanged field goal.

i actually think the refs are OK..not great. pass interference in general just bugs me unless it is a real mugging. the ticky tack stuff where a guy is just going for the ball or the db and wr are in the same place at the same time and collide---that cr&p shouldnt be called.

i really dont buy that. other teams are always pinching the safeties because they all know that Fitz cant throw accurately more than 15 yards(and even that isnt a sure thing). -So there is always a built in excuse for him to run CJ and Fred 7 times each when they are the strongest part of our offense by far. chan is an up and down offensive coordinator(looks great occasionally but usually made to look pretty mediocre by a decent D coordinator)---very average overall because of his lack of instinct for the game. He is a below average head coach because his game mgmt skills are poor.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Cj is one of the games best open field runners --but he cant carry the load back there.Too small. Freddie and he should split 35 carries a game. we have excellent running backs.Let Fitz mix it up with throws over the middle of less than 15 yds(his range). We need to play to our strengths.
