Tebow is a winner. If an offense were properly designed around him he could win a lot of games for you. His passing ability isnt that much better than Fitz's unfortunately. A big strong man,good runner,instinctive winning football player with a rubber arm.So as just the starting QB...Id say better than Fitz but not one to hang your hat on. Would drive us less insane than Fitz does. I would love to have him in an option role--combo RB,FB,backup QB. He can run and is a bull--very hard to bring down and deceptively fast. Main thing is that the guy knows how to play winning football. It may be a bit ugly--but its winning football. Same with Larry Czonka. Yes he does seem slow twitch--but he gets there. QB,FB type..ends up getting down the field although he looks lumbering doing it ala Czonk.

Chan is a good play designer.He is an abomination as a head coach. Nix has made a few good picks...but to have Buff in the QB and linebacker situation it is in is unforgiveable.

u'd have a better chance of winning w tebow in there.--but if we got him to be our new permanent starter...well that would be unfortunate

Knew youd remember that...Allens 6th sense near the goal line was unmatched IMO. Czonka--he NEVER got stood up-musta been his low center of gravity mixed w power/athletic ability.You had to hit him high and low to stop him--cut his legs out from him. Riggins...interesting---just dont remember him round the goal line--just the freakish combo of size and speed he had.

To me its a tie betw Marcus Allen and Larry Czonka.

agreed. he has done a decent job...but has made a huge mistake not drafting wilson(which many of us were clamoring for). but with competent coaching this team--with its patsy schedule this yr---should be in the hunt.

Chan is a good play designer. being an O coordinator involves running these plays in the right situations. He doesn't have that ability. So his proper job would be something beneath offensive coordinator. He is a horrible head coach.

HC,LB,QB..in that order..fix those things thisis a solid playoff team. fix the HC and LB this is a marginal playoff team. Fix the HC this woulda been a marginal playoff team with this patsy 2012 schedule.
