i like the quick release and quick feet. good arm strength--not great but good. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Nassib--not even in same league.

Eagles release Trent Edwards
Tcali replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i dont think ive ever seen a QB become so damaged mentally .-playing so scared--like a little old lady out there--and not a tough one. he should have quit a long time ago. thankfully he was 3rd string and never got hit again. he could become like a syd barrett if he is not careful. QUIT trent..no shame in it. -
Ketorolac....--From what I have read it is no more dangerous than motrin(ibuprofen) in the proper doses. same side effects as all NSAIDs. many Docs I know subscribe high doses of ibuprofen for VERY short time periods. problem with any NSAIDS is that you develope a tolerance for them. and the effective dose goes up and up--while the side effects skyrocket. drug abuse is drug abuse. there are no side affect free drugs out there no matter what the popular drug of the moment is. marijuana is certainly not the harmless herb that many think of----esp not at the level where it is going to be in the same ballpark as a painkiller that high doses of NSAIDs are. --And forget about remembering the plays.

The new tone at OBD: What they're saying
Tcali replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. And for the great great ones(the coaches) the players will do everything possible to make their coach happy/proud of them. I'd love to see the Bills players this year go all out every game and do their best to execute an intelligent game plan and have confidence their coaches wont be making bonehead decisions. Then football becomes fun again for the fans regardless of the outcome. I disagree about Parcells....I dont think he did that much without Belicheck -
Luck is the best QB Ive seen since Elway and montana. that said wilson is QBing the best team of those mentioned. Kaepernick wasnt mentioned---but he has at least as good a team as seattle to work with--and is already a stellar QB and a freak athletically. So Wilson,Kaepernick equal chance. Then Luck because his teammates are only avg at best at this point. Then RG3 with his fragile health and ralphlike(in competency) owner.

How Did Joe Ferguson Rate With Other NFL QB's
Tcali replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i specifically remember him yelling at his own players on the field on national TV.It was embarrassing. kay stephenson didnt put the Bills in a downward spiral--ralphy did---he was a decent coach who was stuck with a lousy roster. The bills played very hard for him. -

How Did Joe Ferguson Rate With Other NFL QB's
Tcali replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ferguson was a very very good QB. How could anyone say he was mediocre?? And if you are under age...lets say 46..you really didnt see his career. He was as good as a guy like Flacco is today. I would compare him a bit to Drew Brees with less athleticism.Pinpoint accuracy and a good strong arm and very tight spiral. pouted like a ten yr old on the field--that was a negative. He did NOT just hand to OJ left and right like some said on here--he threw great passes to ahmad rashad,Wallace francis,Bobby Chandler,Jerry Butler,JD Hill. He never had a championship caliber team to QB...altho Chuck Knox had them fairly close until Stew Barber and Ralph F'ed that up. -
you dont draft an OG at 8 unless u r set everywhere else. if you have a #8 and are almost barren at LB........

Bills officially sign QB Kevin Kolb
Tcali replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
maybe we can get him that guy who taught fitzy how to throw -
teams may be afraid of the bills outsmarting them

Is Kolb Nix's Bridge to the 2014 QB Draft Class?
Tcali replied to Wing Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
unfortunately we have too much talent to go 3-13.....--we have miami and ny in our division. count on 5 or 6 wins barring a miraculously good draft incl a stud LB and surprise QB -
Are we set at LB? Possible solution
Tcali replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
sheppard is no good......and bradham lacks good football instincts altho he hits hard. you could see in the films last year from college that bradham doesnt anticipate at all---just stand there frozen until its obvious where the play is going. sheppard is completely lost other than being a halfway decent run stuffer. bills have mucho work to do to get a professional LB corps. -
Romo is an accident waiting to happen. Money is no object to Jerry though. This proves that having billions hardly makes one smart in all things.--Apparently Phillip Rivers wasnt available.

Infallible organizations don't exist

So true. What the Bills have accomplished in a league that is about as economically fair as you can get is extraordinary. -
Update: The Dreaded Tuck Rule is gone
Tcali replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
had anyone here ever hearda the tuck rule before it was called in the oak NE game?? id been watching or playing ball for a long time like many of us(since 1964) and had no bloody clue that it was even a rule. -
of course no one thinks its THEM thats the problem. eventually personality conflicts drive people away from things. and the anonymity of a message board emboldens us to be blunter than we'd be in real life. its inevitable that people reach a breaking point and say that this isnt worth it.some comment will be the straw that broke the camels back. and there is also the growing problem of internet addiction. i think its a serious problem we all need to be aware of.

tebow won a lot of games for denver. of course he isnt anything special passing the ball--and i dont think too many see him as the answer. and then some put him down for not beating out sanchez. think having sanchez in there was agood decision by the jets? tebow pretty much didnt play last year. having a winning record with a not great bronco team is not that bad. give him a chance. esp if there is nothing special available this draft.-tide us over til 014. i really think SOME of the negativity toward him is because of the fundamentalist christian displays on the field. i can see where that would rub some people the wrong way. and sorry to disagree with some on here---but this team does have little to lose.we have sucked for almost a generation. we gave up 600 yards 2 weeks in a row last year. it was beyond sad. fingers crossed on these new coaches.maybe they'll be great.

hes not a lousy player..hes a lousy passer. hes a winner. and people arent suggesting he is the answer at qb.
-
Has anyone seen this team worse off than right now?
Tcali replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
6-10 is more hopeless than 2-14. 2-14 buys you the bruce's and the luck's.plus we still have the same mgmt. there would be much more optimism iof we bottomed out and had new mgmt. -
NF on the REZ...Buffalo Bill Cody style wild west show before(or after) the games.Convenient to canada commuters and rochester commuters. Smoke signals before every home game. Build an old west village and native American museum around it .International destination. Tons of tax breaks. sounds like a scary guy
-
i woulda mentioned him if they said "tends to throw grounders"
-
right on. its amazing how many people on here feel that we actually have something to lose.lets have some fun with it. let tebow run an option offense..or spell our rbs with some power runs. keep the passes under 15 yds. i bet we win 8 games and the bills get some good pub. tebow is deceptively fast.....teams would be crazy not to give him a shot at FB
