we can almost completely outplay a team and still lose. this garners confidence that we will win most of our games??/ i dont get the logic. EJ---best potential,big,athletic,confident,questionable throwing ability and shaky mechanics. overall peformances CHAOTIC. THAD--enthusiastic,good athlete,confident,decent arm strength,poor accuracy on mid range throws,indecisive in the pocket,poor pocket awareness. Decent but too many weaknesses. Tuel--still a child. Decent arm but feels the need to throw poofballs either out of stupidity or lack of football sense.Deer in the headlights in crunch time. Personally lost a game in which his teammates greatly outplayed the opponent.

we look more impressive losing than we did under chan or jauron etc etc. at least we feel that there is hope. i think thats the difference.

they havent completed the research or come up with many conclusions yet.i was warning about sloppy science--not declaring that these studies wer necessarily sloppy. so lets wait til the studies are completed then read the research..Then lets judge the research.

the size thing isnt a factor--the biggest change in size had been on the O line--and i think those guys have the least head to head hits--and they arent moving that fast. Its the little or medium sized head hunters flying at full speed. Now the bad habits...you hit it right on the head there(pun intended).Player used to hit /tackle with their shoulders because the headgear wasnt great.So the leather helmets were likely more safe overall.

...he did show a bit in the first half....but does this TALENT incl sailing the ball half a dozen times--enuff that they had to check it for helium?? Does that TALENT incl making a colossal bonehead play?? does it incl several underthrown long balls to open receivers?? He seems like a mental weakling at this point. problem is that the QB has 60% of the responsibility for winning losing. And we have a mediocre/not too football bright group out there. The left guard or center can crave winning all they want...but when you cant get the job done at 1st and goal from the one......---or you cant hit a midrange pass....or you cant shift over a foot to throw off the right foot etc etc--all the non QB stuff doesnt matter. or Luck or Brady or Brees or Wilson
