  1. ive been around a long time as many of you have.where does this rank in pathetic embarrassing losses?..speshly given the fact it was a home game.
  2. glad TT checked down there ..better to play it careful at this point in the game.
  3. right on the money. TT needs to run run run or he is no good
  4. So...excitement in Bills land after thrashing the Raiders and going 5-2. Honestly did anyone have the slightest inkling it would get this ugly this fast? Even the veterans of decades of Bills horror?
  5. and we were behind the jets 34-7? or something like that
  6. wow---but perhaps the good news is that the nfl is dying...right along with the buffalo Bills who have no QB, no o line ,no d line ,no WRs and the fans who have witnessed this travesty of an organization for almost 20 straight yrs now. Praise to McDermott for providing some excitement for Bills fans the first 8 weeks....But wth happened?
  7. I guarantee that 10 guys on this board could punt better
  8. 3rd and 15...go to your 32 yr old 5 foot 6 inch 250 lb fullback
  9. The 1988 Bills were the most talented Bills team ever. The only thing stopping us from winning the SB was the fact that Kelly was not yet calling his own plays and the fact that the no huddle wasn't instituted. 1988 was definitely the best defense we ever had. leon seals and art Still to go with Bruce....6 excellent LBs. We will never see talent like that again. Too bad we had a very stodgy conservative offense that yr.
  10. I like TT--but you really are so off the mark that its painful. TTs weaknesses were right out front last night. He panicked in the pocket and was not creative(that falls on dennison too) about using the overpursuit of the D linemen against them.--There are many QBs who would have exploited the Jets D easily last nite even with a so so O line performance.
  11. the good thing is that viewership on the nfl is so low very few people saw that stinker omg can u imagine Brady back there?? with all the time in the world? having a cup of tea them picking us apart?uggh
  12. Hughes is reminding me of a D lineman we had about 10 yrs ago --Kelsay...with that stupid passrush where he never brings pressure and is always 10 yds wide of the QB . Someone teach him a different move
  13. TB ran all over us too(well --passed all over us). People were getting unrealistic to the point of delirium. This Bills team is slightly above average at this point..8-8 or 9-7.Just like a lot of us thought. The most troubling thing though is the D line.Yikes.
  14. ahh you youngsters..... 1.OJ 2.Cookie Gilchrist 3.Thurman 4.Tie Lesean and Fred Jackson 5.Joe Cribbs Now there is always the problem with how you do the judging. Cookie played 3 yrs and Thurman a decade.-The game was different etc etc. In hockey do you count Pat Lafontaine on the sabres all time list for quantity or quality?--I think he was just as good as Perrault. Cookie was the 2nd best runner in pro football in his era(he didn't get to the nfl until the almost elderly RB age of 27) behind Jim Brown. Thurman was probably the 3rd best in his prime behind Barry sanders and Emmit Smith--altho the difference was razor thin.Which is why his HoF induction vote took one yr.. OJ was the best of his era. Lesean and Fred were/are ~ 4th or 5th best in the league.Which means they are /were still great runners.
