I dont mind rookies making horrible plays. what I do mind are rookies showing zero flashes of brilliance. It was horror,mediocrity, horror ,mediocrity.Therein lies the problem.

right on matter. people are enamored with QB stats but dont realize that QBing is about the intangibles. I have seen the guy play and i dont like his game. He was what Bill Walsh used to call one of those guys who plays just well enough to make you lose(obviously a paraphrase). We could also pick up Phillip Rivers and go 9-7 for the next 3 yrs. Is that what we really want? Anyone signing Cousins will wreck their team with his salary hit combined with his slightly above average play..and --as u mentioned--the inability to bring in/sign other key guys.

So are we to assume that washington had one of the worst rosters in the league??? Cuz if not then Cousins is not a good QB despite putting up yards. Mr 7-9 8-8 9-7 isnt exactly a winner. Paying him a zillion dollars will solidify the Bills mediocrity for the next decade. Lets get our own QB..not little danny's rejects. There are always excuses for mediocre QBs..injuries etc.But in fact the good QBs offset and overcome these things. Do we really want Phillip Rivers light?

Jags D is very very dirty. That head slam on TT shoulda had that guy suspended for a year.They didnt even call a penalty.

AND he was taking a lot of crap for a bad play he made at the same time.Sad way to end a career for Mr Burroughs. he was a damn good player.

Great posts..have enjoyed reading them.Well thought out. My 2 cents...I ,like many others are really sick and tired of the lousy Bills organization over the past 25 yrs. We are always the dumb team.we are the team without a quick thinking QB who is out there leading. In addition the officiating has become so poor that it is painful to watch. JETS vs PATS was criminal. The protests..no matter your political views turned off at least 50% of the viewership.Yes many who were pissed off still watched..But the perception that these players are spoiled little brats is strong among many.The perception that these 'kids' who are millionaires are gonna force their opinions on adults who work their butts off making 60k so they can support their teams and the league by buying tickets and merchandise and create viewership was just not a good look. ..And last but not least...While the players are bigger and stronger and faster than ever..I am not sure that the quality of football is that great. Are there more than 6 QBs in the league who can throw a proper screen pass? And the helmet to helmet crap has to go. Jacksonville is a dirty team and i am glad they choked like they did.
