Depends how he plays. People don't say it just to say it! BTW, I will take the over and say 3 -
Looking ahead to the 2007 draft....

we must be addressing the QB in FA? -
How about Roethlisberger?
djfarr00 replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. I don't think Losman should be pulled. The orginal post compared the two. Clearly Ben is having a terrible season, and JP had 1.5 bad games (bears and jets). Neither warrants benching, but in terms of past performance (which often predicts future results) Ben and JP are in difference leagues. -

Denver, Indy - Ben was the leader and top performer. He wasn't all that great in the SB, but clearly did not lose the game. -

Kind of ironic. The difference - Ben has performed successfully in the past. He won the SB. In the playoffs last year, he put the team on his back and carried them to the SB. There is a history of success and a reason to infer that maybe some of the misfortune that occured this summer is leading to current performance. The original post was trying to compare JP and Ben and there is a fundamental difference. JP has never been successful. Anywhere. Why people need to make excuses for bad performance or bring down successes of other QBs to make JP look better is beyond me. -
That makes no sense. You have no idea how JP rates VS Grossman's intagibles. You can't say that Grossman and Lossman would do the same thing in the same situation. Grossman doesn't lock on to one receiver, he sees the field. He hits his open men on deep routes. The Bears D has been unbelievable this year, but Rex is having a fantastic year as well. There's no way you can infer that given the same set of circumstances that JP would perform the same way. Its another excuse that you have to come up with when your QB performs mediocre at best. Just let it be. If he's going to make, he will. Your defending him like he's your first born has nothing to do with his success.

c'mon get real. Ben was in the hospital all preseason and then had surgery the week before his first game. He's just getting healthy. I hope you're not trying to compare the two on any level besides them being drafted the same year. You guys just look for excuses for Lossman. If his play / numbers can't stand up for themselves, he shouldn't be in there! Freaks - i am not calling for Nall. I just think its retarded to make excuses for a bad performance. -
I am a long time lossman critic. I'd gladly eat crow if the bills go on and have a winning season, but the year is far from over. JP has made progress, and hopefully will turn out as ole whitey thought. I'd hate to use another high pick on a qb when we have many needs to address. All i'm saying is it ain't over yet.

baseball and football are worlds apart. Lots of standing in baseball, and none in football. Fat guys like John Krukcan be all stars. He wouldn't last a day playing OLB in the NFL.

Here's most of the cuts from around the league.

Haynes was drafted as a DE. The Bears moved him from DE to DT last year. I think it would be a good pick up. He may even have some interest in joining the Bills w/ DJ as his coach. -
So who's next on the rail outta here?
djfarr00 replied to Sen. John Blutarsky's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i agree. We're much better off a Safety now. Vincent was a leader on last years poor attitude team and even though Ralph consulted w/ him on the new coach, he has to hate him for the collective bargaining agreement -
tastes like burning

They've signed 2 - 3 DT's this year already. either setting up for cutting him or having one mean DT rotation -

Chris Jenkins from Carolina could be another June 1 cut. He hasn't played in 2 seasons (not talking jp here) but would be someone to take a chance on. Dude can play when he's healthy. -
How many seasons has he been on the roster? Thanks People can continue to try and correct me, but I believe i am right. Just like when you say the same load of crap about JP showing signs of improvement the last few games. Which you state over and over and over and over and over I don't post nearly as often as you, and only do when I see so much obsession over a no talent like JP. And for the record, he was listed as injured. Anything beyond that is speculation.
-
JP had 2 seasons
-
He actually missed a bunch of games last year because he was hurt. YOUR INTERPRETATION is that the coach sat him out because another qb gave us a better chance to win (which is ironic in itself). YOU were not there. You don't know that to be true. THE FACTS are JP has missed at least 13 games over two seasons because of injury. If thats not showing potential for being anything but injury prone then i don't know what is. Other people can have opinions and they are not morons simply because they don't agree with you. You haven't once backed up a fact with why JP is good. Lots of QBs have come back from bad years - lots haven't He had better stats then Elway - who the hell cares He had a bad line - a successful QB can hide some oline problems with smart decisions. Tell me something good he's done for an entire game - or better yet over the course of 4 games. the only thing i can come up with is be injured. He does that very well
-
agreed. Just like Flutie. In many ways actually. Can we trade him to the Argonauts?
-
they got a guy with a high first round grade (Kiper had him top 5), with the prospect of Favre retiring.......they almost had to take Rogers last year Prefer not to think it was because CN was a poor player
-
Me too, but I don't believe the job is JP's in the first place
-
Why so down on CN? You're credentials for evaluating talent are second to none! How can worrying about a suspect QB with INJURY PROBLEMS make you a retard?
