Only one game to worry about fellas, the next one!

That is the team's job. As a fan i can look ahead and do all the permutations I want. That's the fun of random. I also don't have to hit the weights and do film study.

It seems to me that coaching staff relied on Jordan Philips and Vincent Taylor to stop the run.
I will look at the snap count analysis, but if this is the case, not a very good sign for Star and Ed, which are supposed to be our starters...
Oliver didn't start yesterday. Phillips did.
Seemed like a lot more Taylor and Shaq in the 2nd half, but most noticeably Taylor. I barely registered Star in the 4th and I was watching that rotation all day.

The guy I've been harping about since draft day: Metcalf.
This horse is so beaten it's now glue.
You know who everyone wanted on the D-line before the draft? Quinnen Williams. Jets fans have declared him a bust after 8 games. Maybe the Bills can pick him up for a 7th in the off-season.
A steady hand in developing young players is more important than your (and other's) hot-takes and hindsight drafting.

Good commercials though.

That is such a badass move.

I read somewhere that Vincent Taylor was considered the best DL on Miami last year, and it wasn't clear why he was waived. He's 6'3", 311, and had a couple sacks last year for the Phins. There's a reason they took him, let's see what he can do. He might be an answer. Peko hasn't really been that effective.
The Legend of Vincent Taylor.

They see him in practice every day. If he was beating guys, he'd be playing.
The entire league could sign him and he's unsigned.

Tending for 1000 yards and 8 TD on the season. As a rookie.
Meanwhile, our #1 pick all world pass rush monster has exactly one non impact sack.
Nick bosa on the other hand makes big plays.
DK is having a great year with a QB having an All-Pro season.
Bosa is irrelevant in comparison to Oliver. Bills couldn't pick him and he plays a different position.
My concerns on D are both DEs (though they are better with Lawson in the game), and MLB. I like Edmunds as a player but I'm a long ways from convinced he's the right guy in the middle.

Still are bottom 1/3 of the league in scoring. We still can rush the ball well. Deep ball accuracy has dropped significantly. It's the same exact thing.
The offense and it's 9 new faces are struggling, but it is NOT the same as Tyrod.

Idiocy.
O hey, thought I'd mention DK Metcalf with another Two TD.
He's a solid number 2 with an all Pro qb but those tds yesterday were play call touchdowns from the 1. DK just caught easy ones.

Something else that's been driving me nuts about our offense. I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen Josh Allen and his hard count cadence call for the ball to be snapped after the 3rd hut. I don't know if he's trying to get the defense to jump offside or what but it's not only predictable, it's not working. I think only 2 or 3 times during the game did the ball get snapped on the first or second hut. All of the other times, it was on the third call, like clockwork.
This is so right on. Makes me nuts. Kid has the exact same sequence every time. It was far too loud with Eagles fans but still.
the O line was bad especially tackle. Josh was completing his drop in time with defensive ends being level with him on most plays. He stepped into space a few times but they were bad. Many times I shouted at the TV because Wentz had so much time. Josh had that much time maybe once.
Just now, GunnerBill said:They did actually get some pressure early in the game on Wentz. He completed 2 passes on his first 8 dropbacks of the game.
Lawson had pressure early. Murphy did bupkis

..perhaps we know now why they're stuck in "the gallery" with bonafide GM resumes' in hand and the phone ain't ringing off the hook.....certainly creates some great "TBD Theater" with special thanks to "Fisher-Price wi-fi"........
"They" is "us."
As long as Josh isn't listening to us for advice, that's fine.

People wanted Reich to start.
Seems like he has his head on straight. Don't listen to the idiots in the peanut gallery, but always give them thanks.

It is still a ton of yards out of a TE no matter how you slice it and dice it - chains are moving and TD’s are being scored.
Ertz and Goedert will be a challenge even if Milano plays. If he's out, they will have big days.

Yup. He's negotiating or retiring. Zero chance he leaves to play elsewhere.

You know what throws me off the most in that shot? He's wearing the mask. They've pretty much completely moved away from that thing at this point. Anyway, that trailer gives me a sibling vibe for those two.
Lots of visions in last two movies. Could just be that.

Last Sunday vs. the Dolphins, TE Gesicki really seemed to be the biggest thorn in our side from their offense. The Bills will really have to have an answer for the Eagles REs, especially in 2 TE sets.
Yeah, they have two good TEs and Wentz loves the TE. I don't think Frazier saw that coming vs Dolphins. Vs the Eagles, he knows it's coming.

BB Pats went 10-6 with Matt Castle.
His defense shut down the Bills in XXV.
He's the best coach ever bar none.

they hold the #1 WC by at least 1 game margin over the others.
The spot is theirs to lose. For reference see the Unofficial Official playoff thread
With their schedule, they should be set up well for the wildcard but they aren't top 5 until they beat some real teams. Eagles, Ravens, Cowboys will be good tests of their mettle.

The Athletic has Bills holding at 11

11. Buffalo Bills (5-1; Last week: 11)
Surely that was closer than Bills fans might have liked, but Buffalo holds on to its spot as a wild-card favorite after pulling away from the Dolphins late. What are the chances Josh Allen can (finally) put together a complete game next week against Philadelphia’s ailing secondary?
10 Texans
9 Seahawks
8 Chiefs
7 Colts
6 Ravens
5 Vikings
4 Packers
3 49ers
2 Saints
1 Cheaters
I'm not convinced by the Colts but this looks right. The Bills are a borderline playoff team on the rise. #5 in CBS is nuts.

I dont get why the Jets were declining. Other than the obvious "Its the Jets" answer.
I really wish Belichek had kept committing penalties. I wonder how many times it would have taken Gase to understand what was happening. I found it amusing.

How is Belicheck cheating here?
He takes the delay of game like every team does. Gase declines. He then tries to get 5 yards with an Offside. Gase declines.
It is a funny sequence and Gase is an idiot. I wish he'd kept it going.

Belicheat does it again! This time with a loophole, takes 1 min 22 sec off of the clock.
Nobody goes through the rulebook quite like him. I'm surprised he wasted it against the jests.
Gase probably would have kept declining because he's awful.

So it seems like Alpha has someone inside the communities. Lydia would be too obvious. It makes me wonder about Siddiq, but all the PTSD doesn't really mesh well with him being a mole... unless its guilt. After that, the only meaningful options would be someone from Magna's group since they're still new to the community. If it winds up being some no namer, that feels like weak storytelling to me: "oh yeah, you know this person we've shown once lurking in the background? Mole."
It would be the new doc guy. He's out of nowhere and weird.

It is a bit strange. The board had a very weird vibe last night, it was almost as much work as though we'd lost.
People don't appreciate that Miami likely played their best game of the season.
That's not necessarily the Bills' fault. Miami, probably because of Fitz, came to play. The Bills played OK and when it mattered, turned it on and won going away.

I have superhero fatigue in a big way but this show was excellently done and surprising in a way Scorsese would approve of (see today's op.ed).
