  1. Yeah. I've streamed from Bluetooth for still images with great results. Anything else has been laggy and poor.
  2. If your phone screen is lower res than the TV, even assuming zero bandwidth issues, a compression software will expand the output stream from the phone and double or more each pixel, which will blur edges and make the video look blocky. I am curious to hear a review though, as I've not done this in a few years.
  3. He is 100% nuts but I did not hear it. I find him to be nuts in his own right, but also putting on schtick to get airtime, which I hate.
  4. Bandwidth to screen mirror will probably be OK. Quality, I suspect, will be abysmal.
  5. Passing will be tough this week. Brown will be shut down. Beasley probably too. Which will leave the TEs and RBs to carry the load on passing plays, and that's not a great formula for this team so far this season. Activating Yeldon makes sense. His best game was against the Pats I believe. Or at least I feel like in the 2nd half, he was the key to what little offense there was.
  6. Blowing up the image from your phone to your TV will not yield an acceptable result. Try it out. Maybe you'll be OK with it but I'd be surprised.
  7. You could but it would be a terrible image because of the resolution change. 100000% The NFL knows how to maximize its revenue with all these deals. It will be a terrible viewing experience.
  8. Of course. But they are running a ball control offense because of the good defense. That's smart coaching. Now I don't know if Allen could run the Air Raid offense but if he was, they'd be scoring more 100%, and the defense would be under a lot more pressure due to more turnovers and losing time of possession a lot more. The Bills PPG and offense is clearly not as good as the defense, but the offense is only being asked to do so much. You can't judge them in vacuums to one another. McD's game plan all season has been to have the defense hold and make sure the offense doesn't make mistakes. That's been a winning formula for a team with 2 returning offensive starters from last year. Works for me at 10-4.
  9. Can't do particularly good play action from the shotgun, which they are in a lot. I hate that they are in it so much but I get why they do it for the young QB. It's bad for play action and bad for the running game. Yeldon was effective in that game.
  10. For sure. The Pats are a tough test for a young QB. Not only will they gameplan well, they will adjust well. And we know John Brown will be neutralized. It will be tough.
  11. Call me crazy: I care about wins. He would be passing more and they would be running a different offense. That's what would be happening.
  12. He's a top 3 QB in the 4th quarter statistically. I would say that's a BS padded number for a QB on a bad team making lots of yards and TDs against prevent D. But the Bills have had a single game loss of more than 1 TD so that's not Josh's situation and in fact, almost all of the games this season have been crazy tight so in the 4th Q, the pressure has been super high on him. So he's statistically crazy good in the 4th Q. You can call it clutch or whatever you want, but I also wonder if the game play opens up a little. It sure is encouraging.
  13. From this link at Amazon, it looks like they just show Thursdays, NFL Network shows its other ones only itself. I found this on other sites too. https://www.amazon.com/primeinsider/video/tnf-schedule.html Sling Orange base price is $15 but it doesn't have NFL Network. You need to get Sling Blue for $25 and with the discount it's $15. I almost made that mistake.
  14. I looked into this so I could compare it with Hulu. Youtube TV doesn't have NFL Network. Only Sling Blue and Fubo have it.
  15. That's just for Thursday Night Football. This week is NFL Network only. I believe you can stream it to your phone using the NFL app and watch the ball as a pixel but don't take my word for that. The $15 for Sling Blue for a month seems a low price to watch on my TV. I pay for the same reasons I pay for music. I'm not on a high horse here. I've viewed pirated content before. But it's not right so I try to avoid it unless I suddenly find myself unable to see a game and can't find an alternative. This thread was meant to give people a heads up to alternatives.
  16. There are plenty of pirated ways to view. Maybe a few are top quality and can be viewed on your TV in really high quality. But I will stick with the legal feeds and get the highest quality. Much cheaper than the local bar by the way, and I won't have to be hanging out with Pats fans. I went with Sling Blue for $25 $15 on a special. The $15 is a special--that's correct. I have Hulu already and am happy. I'll cancel Sling after the game. I go to most of the home games but that's a bit more effort than I feel like the weekend before Christmas.
  17. Like many, I don't get the NFL Network. The pirate streams are there but unreliable and illegal. I'm signing up for Sling Blue at $25 and canceling after the day. Seems like an ok if aggravating price for a single game. They allow for cancelling any time. Any other thoughts?
  18. Who? Didn't know about it then and don't care now. Some guy. Some opinion.
  19. I call it being born in Buffalo. I lived in Rochester in the 80s into the 90s. That city is full of fans of other teams. They have a strange anti-Buffalo attitude even though the cities are basically suburbs of one another. I never could have imagined I'd meet as many Steelers and Dolphins fans--who were born in Rochester. They all hated the Bills with passion. So silly. Yay, you're special! I have some friends who have since moved away and they've adopted the Bills because it's "home," so they are getting that it's special to be tied to your place.
  20. Exactly. What is this "happy you stuck with it" BS. You're in or you're out. You get to pass through the door one time only.
