  1. He's a Tight end that can stretch the seam, but do it from the traditional tight end position!
  2. How funny is it that Parcells has now drafted 2 dbs and a gadget player and the Bills have taken 3 linemen and a db? Weird.
  3. From the looks of these picks, don't be surprised if we do pick a receiving tight end later and utilized unbalanced lines when we are in run mode.
  4. He's Andre Carter Jr - play LB, rush the passer on 3rd.
  5. They're probably going to play him as the Will linebacker and rush the passer on third down, with Ellison/someone else playing coverage.
  6. A guy who has the quickest first step in the NFL draft, plus can grow into whatever size you want? ANd if you notice, the Bills text (if you got it) says...LB. Let him play Will linebacker and rush the passer on passing downs, with Ellison in coverage. Two needs filled with one player.
  7. Officially, I don't think they ever did it publicly. Privately, I think he's been taking more and more command until, should Jauron get fired this year, I would say he would pick the replacement.

  10. To me, I'd be a fan of getting the front seven of either side shored up in round 1 - be that Maybin/Brown @ 11 and an Ayers or true LB @ 28 or a LT/Pettigrew @ 11 or a Pettigrew/T @ 28...
  11. The biggest thing getting a Scheffler would be acquiring a known commodity. However, if you're going to have this many draft picks, I'd be more comfortable trading for a Waters, giving him 6 mil a year for like 4 years and drafting whatever else we need this year instead of getting Scheffler AND having to give him big money after not performing in our system, or wasting a franchise on him next year.
  12. AND he's got to earn that money over 3-5 more years than his counterparts...
  13. It asks the question without actually getting into it... The problem is, both the Bills and the Eagles have tried to pre-emptively re-sign key players prior to them "hitting it big" and both have had to trade some of that talent because they felt the new deal wasn't as deserving (later) as it should have been. What should be a great tool for developing talent is becoming a big problem.
  14. They should be able to fit them in both cash to cap and straight cap wise. The thing with Scheffler (and maybe Waters) would be signing them to deals after the trade - Scheffler in particular, since this is the last year of his contract.
  15. April, if they want to retain him should Jauron fail, will be allowed to keep his number one/one-a weapon. At least, I think so.
  16. I think at the end of the day, cooler heads and Bobby April will win out - I'm not worried about them giving Roscoe away. It's not like he's Dante Hall at the end of his career.
  17. http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/200...n_Andrews_.html We'll see how good this is when their formerly only malcontent lineman figures out his brother and his ex-teammate make more money than him on shorter contracts....
  18. All I ask as a Bills fan is that EVERY ONE OF US VOTES for Peters to go pro bowl. Why? Because regardless of how he does this year - if the pick as advertised is conditional, that is most likely one of the conditions. So, let's get that pick in 2010 as high as it can get!

  20. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/history The ESPN draft tracker now goes by Team, Coach, College Team, etc to research to your heart's content.
  21. The problem with Waters is that he is his own agent, so the tampering that may or may not have greased the Peters trade process cannot occur when the client and the player are the same individual.
  22. If they found Peters roughly 20 hours after the draft, I'd say just 7 is a heck of a head start. To me, in a perfect world poetic justice would be to have the Bills give a big money contract to Bell in a few years deservedly.
  23. I believe the Colts just had him on the cheap and let the contract run out, as it's just about time to draft someone to eventually replace Addai.
