  1. All three out - with the injuries of knee, ankle and shoulder.
  2. It looked to me like Lee didn't come back to him enough while he was drifting right...
  3. End of this season mike.
  4. By sliding, he gives himself up on the play. So he doesn't need to be touched down.
  5. You're a good man Charlie Brown....defensive back/o-line aside. And thanks to SDS for keeping a place going that allows us all to vent and argue without shutting the summina batch down.
  6. I'm a subscriber to his paid version of NFLDraftscout, so I read about him a bit, but lost track (as I usually do post draft) of most of his super sleepers....
  7. I think he's referring to Darryl Harris of Ole Miss...wondered where he went after college....
  8. Involvement does not denote control. Just because I work in budgeting at a University would not denote I'm the person responsible for getting someone fired. In fact, because of his involvement and as Tipster noted the stark contrast of the recent events I would surmise that the power given to him has allowed for changes he's seen needed to be done being done. And despite the wailing and gnashing of teeth that is going on, I think he will eventually remove more people/players - and depending on the Bills record John Guy may be one of them...
  9. I don't think Brandon gets the axe. Rather, I think he gets the opportunity to pick a head coach he wants. In fact, I think Brandon, Modrak and Overdorf are relatively safe, much to the chagrin of some Bills fans.
  10. They didn't like Gailey to begin with and in the "Patriot Way" held him until past the time where he can get a new job and force him to quit rather than be compensated for doing nothing.
  11. The problem has been rumored (ross tucker) that Ugoh isn't picking some things up and has a little dog in him in terms of work ethic. Johnson tries harder but he has less ability.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the article is asserting Walker struggles at left tackle not right, no? So they aren't down on Walker in general just at that position. And really, who cares other than you about a five minute video? Was that the five minutes he was going to run 8 miles? As a paying season ticket holder who goes from pgh to buffalo 3-5 times a season I care too. Just not about a video that is innocuous. Bill - I get that you have issues with the line, management, coaching and generally the entire franchise. I won't fight you on it bc you've made up your mind and that's fine. But whether or not lang does that video he will be 364 pounds. And throwing your demeaning hissy fits my way won't bother me.
  13. It's a five minute (if that) video that looks obviously like a one take and go type of deal. And very rarely do players in the regular season aggressively work out to the extent he'd be trying to lose weight. Personally I like it regardless of the record, because for once a player's letting his personality out. But there are cornflakes that need the drib drab of Bills negativity so sprinkle away....
  14. No one disputes that. However, Peters has now gone from using the skills and knowledge Mouse gave him to using the system that the Eagles OL Coach uses and has struggled in it. In Mouse's style, Peters was on his own against the DE. Link
  15. from the Eagles board: Link
  16. Peters played - there were a few plays where he did well, a few in which he was blown back into another blocker and collapsed and 2 plays where even Herm Edwards had to admit he was holding blatantly the defender.
  17. Shnooks, if you are able to access an online library (either via a school or by public) you should be able to copy them. If you have the name, year and publication pm me and I can forward them to you.
  18. I wouldn't put it all on the coach, or Fewell for that matter. It's just like with the offensive line - the coach will give you the tools to block, but you have to figure out (along with the coach) what tools you need to use during each play. If you don't use it correctly and they've given you multiple ways to get to where you need to get, sometimes the coach just has to grimace and bear it. Especially when in college where Leodis was known for being a solid press-man corner. The fact that he gives that much of a cushion is a testament to him being burned in practice and at times in games and being worried he will miss his assignment being in a press look. As far as news goes, despite comments on the board to the contrary, rarely are the Bills in a "Tampa 2" look. Most of the time he has them play a cover 3 or 4, which can have the db press or with a bit (or BIG in some cases with our guys) of a cushion.
  19. So you're saying you'd prefer to have the team practice the blitz period outside in the rain? Personally, I'd prefer to avoid acl tears...
  20. And like Brown said, this is the same situation that led to his brother's shortened (Angelo's) career - one injury leading to another leading to another...It's a shame and really shouldn't be something to gloat about.
  21. Duckett was given 4 mil by those guys as a signing bonus just last year to play and they cut him, after knowing him from ATL. I don't think he's got much left.
  22. Well, for all the media declaring the Eagles have the best line in the NFL now, they have yet to even PRACTICE with all five of them at once, let alone play a game and may not do so until week 1.
  23. You are correct sir! Article on PUP rules
  24. Hardy's on a different PUP JR - active PUP. As soon as he's healthy enough to practice and clears his physical he can play. Article
  25. I think Cinci with a no huddle, we don't have to hurry up as one would think the name would require. With the no huddle he can go to guys, line them up and tell them on the fly what he wants. To me, it's the ultimate form of control a qb can have.
