I think someone upthread identified them with a list from CBS sports. They definitely are not Cosell's ranking of the receivers.

Responding to both comments: I agree, really, about Allen, including the sentiment about not being upset if Beane pulled the trigger. That's why I have also discussed Isaiah Davis and Kendall Milton as backs you can get later who are bigger. Milton would be someone you can probably get in the 7th. I just don't think Allen will last till the 4th. The WRs I like best for the Bills early outside the unreachable top 3 are Thomas, Mitchell, Franklin, and Legette. There's a bunch more I like a bit later, and I'd be surprised if Thomas is there at #28. At the moment, Legette is the only one I feel pretty confident will be there at #28. The others might be.

This is what I wrote in the Will Derrick Henry be a Bill in 2024 thread back on Feb 3rd: I'd like to draft Braelon Allen, the Wisconsin rb. He's an absolute tank, and made for goal-line situations. And in the What are your feelings about James Cook as RB1 thread on Feb 7th: I was hoping Braelon Allen would last till our 3rd rounder, but that is unlikely. Folks will want WR, DT, and S before RB; I would not pass on him at #99.

Right. If you want Bishop or Bullard, it's day 2 for certain. I'm hoping Smith is the day 3 option.

Bishop, Bullard, and Tykee Smith were my favorites coming in, and they still are.

Adonai Mitchell and Troy Franklin are the fellas I think you're looking at as possible at #28. I think Cosell is one of the sharper minds out there. He's very high on Mitchell; likes Franklin as well. At the end of the interview, Cosell says, "Diggs is not a true 1 anymore. . . They need more juice at receiver . . . you don't want to waste Josh Allen without giving him receivers."

Yeah, I penciled him in at #60.

I think this is not a draft to get a DE. There are very few worth taking early, and those fellas won't reach #28. So, WR is where the focus should be early, and then again in the mid-rounds, at least one more. I'd rather load up at WR, DT, and S. Traded back here, because the top tier at WR was picked clean. I just don't buy him. We already have big redzone targets in Kincaid and Knox. Someone is going to take Wilson too early gambling he might turn into the next Plexico Burress, and I think they lose that bet.

I brought him up several times about a month ago. I like him a lot, but he's going way too early for a team that needs WR, DL, and maybe S in the first two days. Isaiah Davis in the mid rounds, or maybe Kendall Milton late is more in the ballpark.

I do think Mitchell is more in play than many here may suspect. I'd still prefer someone with more speed, but he has some good traits.

I have not been an uncritical supporter of McDermott, but I don't see him as a hypocrite who never takes responsibility. If that were true, he would not command the evident respect that he does among the players. When that fella with an axe to grind (Dunne) posted his poison pen article, the team rallied around him. That should tell you something -- though obviously, many have already concluded otherwise. To each his own. I disagree with your judgment.

Kept trading down from #28 because I knew the current PFN board has Legette rated ridiculously low. As a result, ended up with a lot of nice relatively early picks. It's still a bad draft for edge players, so only picked up that fella from Western Michigan that seems to have generated some buzz, but this is a pretty good haul. I like Braelon Allen early, but we can't take a RB when he will go. And I like Kendall Milton late. In between, if you take a mid-round RB, I like Isaiah Davis if you go big, and Laube if you go for a more versatile back. He is intriguing.

If you compare PFN and PFF, their boards are quite different. And no doubt, individual teams have disparate boards with some significant variance, not to mention how free agency and the Combine, etc. will change needs and draft fortunes. So, in short, it's a complete time waster to think one can use a mock simulator to model possibilities. Yet, what else can a Bills' fan do this time of year? So, I like this one. I think by the time the Combine is over, Legette will be and should be a consideration at #28. Don't really like Worthy so much because he is a toothpick.

There's no way in Hades Beane would take 3 WRs in a row. McD would go ballistic, and Cowing at #99 makes no sense with the holes on D. It's very unlikely Beane would take WR with the first two picks, though I think Thomas and Legette would be an outstanding start to the draft.
