Oh, I don't wish to be unnecessarily severe. Folks make mistakes, but you'd think this close to the day that could set you up for life, there would be more self-awareness and minimum prudence. Then again, youth is not really cautious that way. (And naturally, it could have grave repercussions for others.) Some here seem to believe Beane and McD won't even consider him now. I really don't know. I read somewhere that he has a reputation for partying. If there's a spark of common sense in him, this could be a wake up call.
-
I like this a lot, but Sweat might be off our board now, and probably should be. Maybe plug Fiske or Jenkins in that slot.
-
I agree. I guess what I think changes is it makes more sense to try and double dip in the first and second round now. If they trade up into the top 3, you won't have the resources to do that, but there are other scenarios where you can grab two in the first forty picks or so. That did not seem appropriate with Diggs on the team, given the amount of targets that he would receive.
-
It didn't make sense when Diggs was on the team. Now it does.

I mean, like Buffalo is a big city. We're the city folks who come from rural areas like. Josh will explain it to him.

It's so evident Granato needs to go. Hire Lindy Ruff. At least bring in someone with NHL pedigree that will hold the team accountable. Get Peca back as an assistant. Get someone who knows how to coach the PP. Bales is the only fellas that should stay.

I guess you have a 2nd still for 2025. I'm not sure Beane would be willing to invest that for this strategy. He'd have to invest that much if he plans on moving up for a top 3 WR, though, so this is an interesting alternate strategy. I think Walker at 66 is overkill, and I am someone who wants 2 WRs early now. Maybe they plan on signing Simmons post 6/1 with Tre's money. Otherwise, S needs to be a consideration. I like Tykee Smith, who you may be able to pick up in the fourth. Folks like Bullard and Bishop are 3rd rounders. You might have to double up the DT at 66 and take a S at 88. I think they need to add OL depth, CB, and RB2 at some point. Overall, this strategy could work, but I have a feeling Beane is going to move up for a WR, rather than sit there and wait for 28.
-
It's a strong draft at CB and mediocre at S. I think they need to take a safety, but I also hope they grab a CB because of the quality at the position.
-
Tykee Smith is a better choice at S, I think.
-
Everyone knows that. It doesn't mean that trading up for WR is eternally off the table because of it.
-
They need a complementary RB2. They don't need to be spending a day 2 pick on RB. An Estime or Kendall Milton late, some bruiser type.
-
Maybe we have a different definition of JAG. I don't think Kincaid or Cook are JAGS. Regardless, what's the point of analyzing the offensive weapons before the draft, when it is apparent that Beane traded Diggs with an eye to upgrading the WR room in the draft?
-
If Diggs had not become utterly toxic in the locker room, they wouldn't have traded him. It's surmise, because they aren't explicitly declaring what the problems were, but Beane's actions give credence to that opinion. Whether he was injured or not, the second half of last year and the post-season is not much to miss. If he had indeed become that kind of distraction and emotional sink, I don't think he'll be all that missed. "The Great White hope" is rather repulsive rhetoric. Kincaid, spell his name correctly, maybe, flashed enough in his rookie year to be a genuine source of optimism. It's not manufactured, and he can be a game changer. He's not a field stretcher, but he has pretty good range for a big slot. He also has a feel for the open spaces. Curtis Samuel is a swiss-army knife type. To simply peg him as a redundant slot is not quite accurate. In general, your attempt to paint a worst-case-scenario is somewhat tendentious. They will add a RB2 and at least one and probably 2 WR. If they go up and get one of the top 3, that is not a "lucky to have WR2" situation.
-
Cook needs to stop the drops, but I think he's clearly above average. The positions you identify are correct. I still want them to add RB2 and OL help. It's a good draft for CB, too, so they should add one. WR is where they absolutely have to hit it out of the park. It's a terrible draft for edge, and mediocre at S. I kinda hope Beane circles back on Simmons after the draft, but Tykee Smith is a nice mid-round S.

New Buscaglia mock has Bills trading up to 7 for Malik Nabers
Dr. Who replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've already used up my allotment of positive emojis on you in this thread. This is correct. Character is destiny. I think it's at least a plausible happening. I like the double dip with Mitchell/Legette and McConkey. I would do that, and honestly, it's the feasible path I hope for, because I doubt we end up with one of the top 3. But if this option really does become possible, you have to take your shot. I think Nabers is a future superstar, and he would open up the entire offense. It's an exponential add. -
That's right. I think one of the seconds next year might be in play if they attempt this route. They might go big and try and get one of the top 3. I think Thomas will likely be expensive now, too. If they don't, this is my preferred strategy. And I just like McConkey better than most. I think he's a contributor right out of the box, and a perfect match with Kincaid.

Listen, if everyone read more, posted less, and kept within the bounds of reason, this place would be a ghost town.
-
Well, I like Braelon Allen, but I don't think there's much chance he is available when we might think about taking a RB. And I like Kendall Milton late, though he also has an upright running style.
-
McConkey lined up on the outside for 70% of his snaps with UGA. I'd love the pick, but they'd still have to add a big X. Someone like Mitchell or Legette.
