  1. Okay, perhaps I'm just not following the concept. Somehow having #49 and two fourth round picks equals the impact of the #13 pick in the draft? The logic of that escapes me.
  2. I don't really care about anyone's idiosyncratic approximate value chart. If you trade #49, #117, and a 2017 fourth (usually counted as equivalent to a 2016 5th round pick,) there's no way that is getting you the #13 pick.
  3. Nice article by Vic all the way around. Rooting for Striker and Jones.
  4. Or one of the young guys makes a leap forward. I was thinking about trying to get Anthony Davis, but apparently he made negative comments about Roman and there are residual fears that he's just a headcase, so it doesn't look like that is a possibility.
  5. Well, my eyes are old, but it looks like someone has done a crude photoshop to make it appear that Bellicheat is watching Lawson and Ragland.
  6. Does look like a solid scheme fit. Simpler reads will help a lot, too.
  7. Assuming GMTM doesn't package the #8 as part of a deal to acquire an established D like Fowler, there are three LHD likely to go in the top ten of the draft. The problem is Chychrun and Juolevi may go before the Sabres' pick. I like Sergachev, but Murray seems to dislike drafting Russians. I was just pondering where we might go if it's not D at #8.
  8. I know we need wingers, not centers. Any thought of taking Logan Brown and making him a power forward type? If Chychrun is gone, I'd think about it.
  9. Gives one a bit more hope that he might thrive at the NFL level. Some of his tweets made him sound like a dope, to be honest, but these are clever responses.
  10. Nice OP. I like Reed, Billings, or Chris Jones if one is available at #49. I hate the booing of Goodell. He's not my favorite, but it's just classless, mob behavior.
  11. That's an incredible amount of work. I like reading your takes. My expertise is in literature and philosophical theology. I love the Bills and have been rooting for them for 45 years, but I only have the roughest idea how the game works. I'm sure my enthusiasm for many players is misplaced, but what's the fun of the draft without such? Anyway, thanks for your contributions to this forum.
  12. I like Lynch, then Hackenberg, then Jones. They all have question marks and some think Hackenberg should be undrafted. If I draft a qb relatively late, Hogan, Brissett or Allen.
  13. I hope he is wrong, because I think Lynch has a chance to be really good and I am not sold on Tyrod. It would make sense, of course.
  14. I think he was arguing for a more balanced assessment.
  15. I'd rather see a kicker drafted rather than two qbs. Not sure about this, but yesterday on one of those draft shows, Polian said Nkemdiche did not fit a 3 - 4, which I gather we are more or less going to use. I would not draft Nkemdiche in the first because of character concerns and because his play does not match his athleticism.
  16. If OBD trades up to get Lynch, the internet will break.
  17. I like Lynch, but I have a feeling he won't be there at #19.
  18. Seems rational enough. I am ambivalent about the Bills' scenario. Unlike you, I like Lynch, so I would want them to stay and take him at #19. On the other hand, I really like Butler and would be pleased with a move back and extra pick that landed one of the most versatile D-line players in the draft.
  19. Thanks for this. It will improve my productivity at work immensely. Since he agrees with my views on Lynch, I am happy with him. Will check out more later.
  20. Love: Lynch -- so most of you are opposed, I take the shot; I think he could be special given time and with Taylor, he has time. Like: Rankins or Butler Hate: Any CB Expect: Reed or maybe Chris Jones
  21. Jones absolutely makes sense as a mid-round qb pick. I'd much rather take a shot on someone with a higher ceiling, even if that risks a lower floor.
