  1. Rosen and Mayfield are the only fellas capable of starting day 1, imo. I would take either, but I really like Mayfield. Otherwise, McCarron starts.
  2. You have to be sold on Rudolph to go with OP's plan. I'm not.
  3. Blokes wins. His dentist looks like a classy Mia Khalifa, well, that's what he says.
  4. I really don't want Rudolph, but if we take him, I will root for his success. How could any true fan do otherwise? Also, I think clearly antipathy for Rosen is driven by politics. One could be wary because of injuries or quirky personality, but anything stronger is bringing in elements outside football concerns.
  5. Take Jackson at twelve. I'm not keen on Rudolph. (If the first four go real early, you might even have to make a small jump from twelve to secure Jackson.) This would be unfortunate, but I don't want to get frozen out of the top five.
  6. Really appreciate your insights. What are the chances any of these slip to twelve? I like Mayfield and Rosen in that order. I would take Allen if he's there at twelve.
  7. Don't see it happening, but the best thing for us would be for Mayfield or Rosen to drop to twelve. I can barely see it possible for Mayfield.
  8. I like Mayfield, Rosen, Darnold as fellas you'd have to trade up to get. (I presume Darnold is going first overall to someone.) I would take Allen or Jackson at twelve if I couldn't move up.
  9. Yep. I am far from Rosen on politics and religion. So what? I'm looking for the best qb for my football team. (Happen to think it's Mayfield, but Rosen is right there.)
  10. Excellent pick. Lots of good running backs in this draft. Get a nice one later on. I think they might and I sorta think they should.
  11. The exercise is interesting, but one ought to at least see where the fellas go before guessing at futures.
  12. Oh, I agree. Well, I think we know Hackenberg is not an NFL qb. Jury is still out on Allen, but I think he has a chance to be really good. Hence, I'll be rather glad if you pass on him, but I understand why Jets might do so.
  13. I would also be somewhat surprised. Some folks think Allen is like Hackenberg. I think there will be some hesitation to take a similar risk with an expensive pick. I kinda like Allen, though I get why people think he will be a bust.
  14. This is plausible and disgusting, so I'm going to pretend you are wrong. I should clarify. I don't hate Jackson, but he's my fifth out of five in the first for qb. Rudolph I am throwing a brick at my old tellie.
  15. I thought this was a confession of paternity. I was going to ask you to tell Baker to stop wearing the stupid Karate Kid headbands.
  16. SouthNYfan's answer is something of a counter. If you can pitch Browns and Giants against one another, perhaps you can lower the cost.
  17. Not even sure I would pay that for 1 overall. If I'm the Bills, I think my limit is 12, 22, 53, 65, and 2019 2nd.
  18. Could happen, but the cost would also be insane. Probably not a lot of cost control if you want to get that high, but if it's a real tight time window with competition, you could go Vegas broke in a heartbeat. That said, highly doubtful the Browns don't go qb at 1. Trent Murphy reminds me more of Fitz than Darnold does
  19. I kinda think if there is a move for 1 or 2, it will happen before the draft, perhaps next week during the owner's meetings.
  20. I think you overpay at 1,2, and 4. I think the cost to move to 6 - 9 should not be terrible. You're probably guarding against perhaps the Phins, Cards, or maybe the Chargers moving up. Don't think they are in a position to outbid us.
