Jim Rome just read the full quote on his radio show. It seems like ESPN left out a pretty big part when they chose what to report on this story. Bradley said that being black is more important than baseball. It might just be me, but it seems like he is more interested in playing the race card than anyone else, especially Kent.
Is Kent and idiot, sure he is. But because he called out Bradley on a play where he was doggin it (NOT because he was black), doesnt make Kent a racist, it makes him a leader.
I would be a lot more interested in the Sabres if I felt they had a playoff caliber team. Unfortunatly, Darcy and Co. have lost their two best players, and replaced them with a rookie, and an aging defenseman with a heart condition.
Bills 90/Sabres 10
There is a place called Ker's Winghouse, right across the street from where I work in Altamonte Springs. They get every game, and I will be there with a few rowdy B-Lo fans!
What a great D we had those few years in the late 90s. Cowart, Wiley, BRUCE, Ted, and a bunch of underrated guys that were great for us - Gabe Northern, Kurt Shultz, and the almost forgotten Henry Jones.
We were friggin solid!
With no really big contracts, why not give Nate big bucks? After he proves (again) that he is worth it this year, we will all be pumped to see him as a Bill next year.
I have been thinking this in light of the Corey Simon rumor. I figure that it would make the most sense from a football standpoint to re-sign Nate to a long deal. However, I know from a Cap standpoint, that might be hard to do. I would like to know when Schobel got his deal done last year, and hope that Nate gets one around the same time this year.
I am not an emotional man, but following this kids life over the past 8 years has made me shed a tear. The kid was a warrior to the end. God Bless the Kellys.
Hunter is in a better place, let him rest in peace.
