  1. Didn't he miss most of the season last year?
  2. I think that Drew would have given us a better chance to win. He did it last year with the virtually the same offense.
  3. How about any number of the ones whos teams made the playoffs the past 6 years. Take a look at the Bengals roster. That is homegrown talent working within a great scheme.
  4. I certainly hope that isn't sarcastic.
  5. You're supposed to draft good players, thats what the draft is all about. When a pick is bad, it sticks out. TD could have picked Joe Montana, and it still wouldnt make up for picking Mike Frigging Williams at 4.
  6. I agree. Orien Harris, Gabe Watson, Rodrique Wright, Ngata. All 1st round talent, but how many teams will draft a DT before we pick a 2nd time.
  7. Wasnt the "grooming' supposed to have been last year behind Bledsoe? Sure he was hurt, but what else did he have to do except study football day in and day out. Dude was downtown partying instead of earning his millions.
  8. If that is true, I REALLY don't want TD doing the drafting.
  9. That, or our beloved owner can show some stones and bounce both of them. Which he should do.
  10. I am sure I'll probably be ripped for this, but I really don't like Losman as the cornerstone to build around. He has 1 win this season, against the worst team in football, was yanked for a journeyman backup, can't stay healthy, can't complete more than 2 passes in a row, etc.... "It's JP's team". Why? Has the guy won over his players? Certainly not Eric Moulds. Why not entertain a FA QB? What confuses me is that there are guys with even less experience and less talent around them that are at very least giving their teams a chance to win. Example - Charlie Frye, to a lesser extent Brooks Bollinger (he had a very good game yesterday if you watched). I honestly feel that a new GM will agree with what I am saying. Don't give up on the kid at all, but we shouldn't just hand him the franchise when he has proven NOTHING. Thoughts?
  11. Ralph wants a winner. If that means a new coach, it means a new coach.
  12. I have never wanted a season to be over so bad.
  13. We are going to bring in a new GM and coach, they are going to think JP is a punk, and we are going to draft a QB. I don't want it to happen that way, but I think it will be like that.
  14. Ironically, it would have been the best thing for the organization.
  15. He is a big boy!! Maybe the Bills can try him at DT. 4'6'', 80 lbs! Dude is a monster for his age.
  16. He is a sunfish is a sea of jellyfish.
  17. Fair enough, but that being said, he can still be knocked out by my 8 year old cousin.
  18. I'll do it for him. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/2005/11/2...ra-points/3256/ That breaks down numbers and percentages based on what kind of situation we were in last night. It doesn't, however, take in account the morale of the players, which could drastically change if the play is converted.
  19. If the kicker can't kick a 50 yarder, why not get a new kicker? When my buddy worked security at The Ralph, my friends and I would kick field goals. One of these guys nailed a 45 yarder, in the elements, at the Ralph. Our new GM might want to pick him up. His name is Joe!
  20. But still...... If we make a 2 pointer there, it should inject a little life in the players. "We have a shot to win this" just didn't exists, due in part to that play. I just want to second guess MM, because it seems like all these second guesses would be way more effective than the plays he calls.
  21. Me too please....
  22. Way to spend a 2nd rounder when we had much more pressing issues to draft. We took a "luxury" pick on a skill position player that could be knocked out by my 8 year old cousin. Great work on that one, TD!
  23. I believe the "some reason" you refer to is that our coach is a meathead. I might be wrong, but I dont think so.
