  1. I was surprised when I saw a "Don't Wait! Call 8" advertisement from my hotel room in Oakland yesterday.
  2. Have I ever mentioned that there's no state income tax in Texas?
  3. The best candy isn't a bar. It's anything by Haribo.
  4. Isn't Lyerla bacteria that causes food poisoning?
  5. It starts with one puff, then all of a sudden you're BuffaloBud420.
  6. At first, my reaction was like "REALLY???" After looking into it, I believe this is the right move. According to spotrac, $13.3 puts him about WR #5, between Dez/Demaryius and T.Y. That's likely what he'd get on the open market if he blew up next year. If he doesn't do well, he'd likely get an Alshon-type 1 year deal for $9 million. Only downside is if the Bills just can't get a deal done, but they have the franchise tag for that scenario.
  7. I normally would think this is backwards, but it was interesting listening to the SiriusXM guys this afternoon. They basically said without saying that Whaley is gone and McDermott gets the next GM pick. They then went on to discuss McDermott and his skill with personnel. Compared it to Pete Carroll in Seattle and Andy Reid, where they have GMs that compliment the coach. They said McDermott will leave his mark on every aspect of the organization and that it's a good thing. They all absolutely loved McDermott and the Bills draft, suggested after Whaley they need to stop firing people and give it time to build. They said this draft in particular could be the one that really starts changing the future of the Bills and seemed to be on board with everything going on and McDermott.
  8. WR Brandon Reilly, Nebraska to #Bills https://t.co/yPN49lZ26t#NFL #NFLDraftNews

  10. Did you miss the trade that happened last night?
  11. Since I was curious, I took a look at # of CBs drafted in the 1st round by team since 1999:
  12. Not to mention you'd be trading for a guy, inheriting his franchise tag, paying a ton, and he seems determined to go to the 49ers this offseason. This would be a move only if you think he can get you over the hump for one year.
  13. It's also been reported that Washington has quickly said "No" to every team that has asked this offseason.
  14. Yeah I definitely get the pick, but I was also hoping for getting a CB tomorrow. I guess my reaction is a solid "meh", but I do love that we picked up two picks and still filled a need.
  15. I would've preferred Robinson
  16. I just landed from a flight and turned on SiriusNFLRadio as these guys were talking about the trade. Gil Brandt said there isn't much difference between #10 and #27 this year and called it a great trade. Good enough for me!
  17. Thank God they traded down, I would have missed BillFromNYC
  18. *browns hear 70,000 people booing in unison* Browns Brass: "ah that's our cue:"
  19. Whataburger and it's not even close. Whataburger Patty Melt = Love.
  20. I too miss the golden years of Ralph as owner, Russ Brandon as GM, and Dick Jauron as coach.
  21. 1. Mike Williams : Eagles 2. Corey Davis : Bears 3. Malik Hooker : Chargers 4. OJ Howard : Bills 5 Mitch Trubisky : Browns Bills Pick (bonus) : OJ Howard
  22. Toss me in the OJ Howard group as well. I love the guy, we need O weapons, and he'd free up a lot of talent on our offense.
  23. If you ever get down here to Austin, Vince Young Steakhouse is fantastic.
  24. I voted no because the yes option said "to trade up to grab a QB in 2018".
