Vincent is slowing down in his older age, and the more he plays the quicker he will tire through the season. I'd be willing to put Simpson out there a lot. King's okay. He's like that type of player who is solid enough to cover a guy once in a while, but doesn't create any excitement. I think Youboty, at least in college, is more of a difference-maker.

I'd be willing to bet that Simpson will get to play about 40% of the plays in our base D. I would also bet that Youboty is the nickle. He should be better than Greer and King.

Why couldn't Triplett be the 1-tech starter?

Fowler might be okay, but I think Reyes will be strong for us. The draft's not over, and I have the feeling there might be some good Offensive Lineman available in the 3rd round. Winston and Scott still aren't gone, and neither are Jean-Gilles or Mutua. If we pick up one of those guys, it'll be a step in the right direction.

I bet we still see someone like Lutui in the 3rd round to address the Offensive Line. I don't know that they have improved more than we have. They are just addressing different areas. Marv seems to be intent on plugging holes on the defense first, and then the offense second. Whitner and McCargo, if they work out, plug very big holes on our defense and fit the new scheme. The Jets have immensly upgraded their Offensive line for sure. They get another pick soon, it'll be interesting to see where they go.

I don't mind our picks, just where they were taken. I do wish we would've traded down in the first round, but sometimes a trade just isn't possible, and that was the guy they wanted. I am, however, baffled as to why McCargo was taken where he was. That they should have not done.

Just keep in mind that Winston Justice's off the field problems could be whats making him fall like a brick. I bet his interviews with teams didn't go very well, which is making him fall.
