Yeah. 2nd place usually makes some money, 3rd usually gets to play for free. We have anywhere from 8-12 people showup usually. Re-buys are allowed until the 3rd blind increase. You get anywhere from 100-200 total usually.

I've got a group that meets Monday and Wed nights. 10 dollar buy-in, 1st place 80%, 2nd 15%, 3rd 5%. Pretty fun.

Yeah. I think the best shot of anyone else stepping up to the plate was when Jeb last month asked other people to run, because she is unable to win the general. No one did though.

Harris is the only real name Republican running, and unfortuantely seems like a lock to win the primary from everything I've read.

lol, I was thinking the same thing when I read her post. I, for one, applaud them. Yeah, cause that happens *all* the time during campaigns and elections (outside of Kerry, that is). No one ever accused anyone that blindly follows a political party of being intelligent.

Tom, you rock politically, but I have to say, finding out what people are listening to is a great way to find new music. Most of the small, good, non-mainstream bands are promoted by people talking to other people about what they are listening to. And given that most people listen to mp3s or CDs in their computer, they are going to be listening to something they consider good. Better chance of finding something good thats unknown then any other source, tbh.
