I don't like that we didn't get a true NT. The idea of Dareus or Kyle playing that role makes me . Would have rather had Jarran Reed. Other than that, I'm pretty happy.

Success rates of first round QB is about 30%. Success rates of later rounds are about 8%. Good luck with that Jets.

I don't mind the Washington pick but Reed is much better at getting leverage and staying balanced.

My initial reaction was to hate the Ragland pick, mainly because we passed up Jarran Reed. If Whaley believes Ragland is that much better than a huge impact NT then I'm on board.

I would have been SO HAPPY! My initial reaction was to blast the Ragland pick because I really, really, really thought we needed Reed for the middle of our defense. At least Whaley tried.

What's weird though... I'm listening to the Sirius broadcast, about 2 minutes ago Jim Miller goes "Is there an injury with Andrew Billings we don't know about? He's a prototypical NT, why's he falling this far?" Gil Brandt immediately responds with "No he's not injured at all. I'll talk to you about it in a minute.", like there's something else going on with him that the teams don't want to admit publicly.

I think they think Blanton can play the other safety spot opposite Aaron Williams.

I'm getting pretty excited about Shaq, but I do feel we missed out on an opportunity with Doctson on the board. It's a really offensive league nowadays and we just don't have much outside of Sammy.

If we do get a good NT I'll be better with this pick, but man... it's a tough pill to swallow for me, taking an ILB when a huge, impact NT in Jerran Reed was there. Gotta get that top NT to free up the ILBs to make plays.

I hate it. We left Jerran Reed and Michael Thomas on the board for a LB that is slow, over pursues, misses tackles, and has an enlarged aorta, AND we gave up two 4th round picks to do it. Ugh. Hate it.

He's one of my top targets for round 2. I want one of (in no particular order): - Myles Jack - Michael Thomas - Jerran Reed I feel like the best case scenario is we get a WR and a NT. I would strongly consider trading up to get one of those guys, then if we didn't get NT, trading up again to get a solid NT.
