Terrorism takes center stage again
PTS replied to Rich in Ohio's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I just listened to NPR and they had Harvard professor on who stated that "terrorism and terrorist attacks are something we'll have to live with and accept as reality." Are you kidding me???????? These guys don't play by the rules and neither should we. The world should have a global organization set up that deals with these terrorist nations. Give us your terrorists or be nuked. Instead we have the UN who's in the back pockets of these nations. -

When 1, 2, 3 or 4 occur, drop a bomb on those bastards and ask questions later. -

Just watched the show. It was great. According to the show, Buffalo was the 8th largest city in America and due to bad urban planning and the death of our steal mills and train travel, the city never recovered. Pretty right on. For all of you that love the stadium in OP, urban planning like that killed the city. Having RWS and UB downtown could have kept the city respectful. Sad to see how beautiful the east side area was back in the day. -
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Sounds to me like I have a lot to choose from. We definitely love seafood so we'll definitely checkout Legal Sea Foods and their chowdah one night. I remember going to Joe's American Grill in Rhode Island a few years ago when my college hockey team played there, I loved that place. And I'll definitely check out the Italian food on North End. I'm a big fan of mass trans systems. I found cheap parking for 16 bucks a day, buy one day get another free. So we'll park the car and use the T from there on in. We definitely what to check out a beach one day. Is Crane Beach the best to visit? I'd love to go to Cape Cod but we'll save that for next year's trip. Thanks again fellas.

My girl and myself are driving to Boston for the Fourth of July weekend. We're staying pretty much right in downtown. I was there once before as a kid so I don't remember much about it. Anyone from Boston or familiar with it that can point out a few good things to do... We're already doing these... 1. Red Sox Game 2. The Freedom Trial 3. Duck Tour 4. New England Aquarium 5. Spitting on Tom Brady's house.

No no no ... what they didn't tell you is that there was a typo ... they were referring to Buffalo, Wyoming. It's a common mistake made because Buffalo, WY lies on the I-90 as well.

I'm a white strips fans, specially the Crest Premium White Strips. I've seen some great results with those, while the other ones didn't really do much to my teeth.

I would also like to give up my public life in two years. On June 14th, 2007, I will no longer frequent this board, but for the next two years, I will continue to make an ass out of myself.

I got a great idea for a reality TV show. TITLE: Celebrity Assassins INFO: Has-been actors, actresses, musicians and other has-been celebrities are hired as assassins in California to make extra loot. The show will follow how these new b-list celebrity assassins are contacted, the negotiation process, the actual murder (who doesn't love seeing that on TV) and the subsequent trial and exoneration. I'm thinking this is probably a show for HBO.

SilverNRed, women are always looking for more. They will never be happy. You're probably better off because that B word doesn't deserve you. Which leads me to this joke I'm sure we've all heard...

Kerry lost. Get over it buddy. Plus, CNN is covering the other major stories like that child abusing pervert Michael Jackson and gay rights marches.

I'm not sure if this was already said, but the best advice anyone can give you is GET OUT NOW. Run, Willis, Run! EDIT: It was already said. -
You guys are all jealous of my 666 .

What else would you expect?

As funny as it was and as much as I think she deserved it, we can be pretty sure she got a nice "check" from the subsequent lawsuit.

You beat me to the punch in posting about this show. If you are a LOST fan, this show is right up your alley as it has that same mysterious "what-the-f is going on" theme to it. I recorded the all the shows last night (they replayed season 1) and got through half of them. The show is great, it's actually unbelieveable for a non-major network channel. I'm excited that I actually have something to watch in the summer. Critics seem to thing it's one of the best shows on TV. If you don't know what the show is about, 4400 people were abducted from more than a half century and then they were returned in 2005 without aging a day. They all have powers unbeknown to each of them. They slowly find out they are back for a reason ... to save the world, but the world is turning on them. It also has powerful moments like in LOST where people return to their families they lost and there family has moved on without them (re-married, etc).

Good Photo of New Throwback Get-Up When the photos of the jerseys were leaked a few days ago here on TBD, I thought, wow, those jerseys suck ass. However, looking at the whole kit with the white helmet and the socks, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these throwbacks! Hopefully they win both games in which the sport these bad boys and then decide to wear them more!

Not sure if this was posted or not: ABC has left fans one more hint of what's to come on the second season of hit TV show Lost on Oceanic-Air.com. The site for Oceanic Flight 815 in the series has a new, hidden Flash teaser that you can now watch. To do so, click on the link below Then at the bottom of the site, where it says 'Travellers', type in Hurley's "lucky" numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. Click on 'Find' which will take you to the flight's seating chart. Next, click on those numbers again in order right below the chart and the teaser will start. http://www.oceanic-air.com/ "They're not the survivors they thought they were?"

YOUR POST mentions hockey, no freaking way. Again I ask, where did I mention anything about hockey? Is this Two Seymour H. Knox III Drive? I didn't think so, but I'm the idiot. You win, soccer sucks.
-
1. Why are you talking about hockey? Where did I say anything about hockey? Plus, you don't need to lecture me on the sport of hockey. I've been playing it my whole including four years at the college level. I think I might have an idea or two about hockey but that's not what my post was about. 2. I'll conceed, the "scoring" zones in football are the red zones. 90% of the game is played out of the red zone, hence, making it no different than soccer. 3. Clearly, they should make each goal in soccer count as six points and then have a penalty shot for an extra point. The end result is football like scores.
