Poor guy, someone had to take the fall but they played the Bills and Steelers defense.

I was looking forward to seeing #7 in person. Hopefully he plays so when we beat them they can't use his absence as an excuse. Vick Questionable for Sunday

I LOVE it. Lost has turned me on to the SciFi channel and all the great shows they have. Threshold definitely takes aspects of three of my favorite shows ... Lost, The 4400 and Stargate SG-1. The thriller-SciFi shows would be a welcome to all the reality and CSI shows out there.

I don't know if this was mentioned but when they went through how everyone got casted for the show and in the original script Sawyer was to be a slick conman from BUFFALO! His script for when he divulged all his background to Kate was... "I was born in Pittsburgh, father died when I was 2, mother when I was 4. Moved to Buffalo, shithole, lived their with my aunt and uncle. She sat around on her ass all day while he ran scams." They could have done without the shithole part though!

Anyone watch Threshold tonight on CBS? Jungle Boy Ethan is one of the bad guys on that show as well.

I got hooked on the show earlier this summer. I've seen all of season 1 and 2 with the continuous reruns. So I'm lost on some things going on during season 9. On today's show they talk about ascension ... something that is mentioned but not described in seasons 1 and 2. What the heck is it? They talk about Ancients ascending in the first two seasons.

Nate Clements is the most under appreciated

Nice arse. Who the hell is the guy next to her with the Al-Queda tattoo? -
I myself have witnessed about 123 dead squirrels on my ride to work today. Oh those crazy Euros!

What HU talking about? I give her a 6.5 and that's pushing it. You go to Maxim's website and you pull her out of all the other babes. Kelly Monaco man! She's on the cover this month and makes this girl look like chump change.

Bottom line is you really can't go wrong with Pizza in WNY. A few of my favorites... Labella's on Genessee in Cheektowaga. Mazina's (sp) in Clarence. Papa John's locations in Rochester with their garlic sauce. Any place around the corner.

Had this happen to me in Canada about two years ago. 1. Obviously call and inform all your credit cards and bank companies IMMEDIATELY ... DO NOT WAIT. I had someone try to use my card 15 minutes after it was stolen. Luckily I realized it and called before. 2. Call each of the three credit agencies and put a fraud alert on your SSN. For four months, if anyone including yourself wants to open a line of credit anywhere, the credit agencies won't allow it until they call you at your home phone number and verify it with you. 3. If she had her SS# in her wallet, call the SS Administration and inform them. That's really all you can do.

I'd give my left you know what for Brooke Burke. Who cares if she's 10 years older when she looks like that. She's single now too!

If the Raiders pound the Patriots, would it be considered this year's Single Most Embarrassing Upset of the Year?

Oh, I know they come here to retire. They wouldn't come here from any other reason at this point or any point in the near future for the league. MLS players will need to go across the pond and take jobs there before you start seeing the opposite. As for expansion, you have 4-6 teams in the A-League and a few in the USL that draw bigger crowds than some MLS teams. There are big soccer hotbeds in this country. Look at Rochester where the Rhinos do very well. I agree with your point but I think they can avoid the mistakes of the NHL and put MLS teams in soccer-friendly markets so they don't have teams like the Canes, Thrashers and Predators of the NHL, which is why I think the NHL is still in trouble.
-
I think that's the ultimate goal but the MLS if far from those days. The best they can do now is bringing in older greats from other nations. I heard Beckham said he would consider playing in the MLS when he retires from international football. There's less pressure here and he won't get mobbed like he does in Europe. I'm sure we'll see some of these guys come here in the next 10 years. It's a slow but steady process, however the league is doing it right. What other league has new stadiums being built specifically for their sport at the rate the MLS does? I hope they get to a day where they'll have promotion and relegations but that is such a tough sell to America. However, it makes every game important and makes the sport much more exciting. The league will be at the 20-team mark soon and 30 in the next decade or so.

Keep in touch. There will be a lot of tickets released in December right after the draw. Make sure you sign up on USsoccer.com. They will release tickets as well after the draw. There will be a lot of Western New Yorkers in Germany next year. It will make for an unbelieveable time! WNY is well represented in Sam's Army. Make sure to check out www.bigsoccer.com. It's a great site for soccer talk and news. There are also a slew of Buffalo people on there as well.

ROLL CALL... who will be there Sunday?
PTS replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's going on Sunday? Oh, the opener. I'll be there. Somewhere in the uppers. -
My guess is he's someone TD signed or drafted before and therefor must be better than anyone else.
-
Hopefully you are a BILLS fans as well as this is a Bills message board. Most of us soccer fans -- especially those on this board -- love our football as well because as one of our commercials goes "football is football, unless of course it's futbol." That being said welcome. How's Eddie Lewis doing? If you're looking for football/soccer talk you gotta head over to www.bigsoccer.com. Millions of people visit that soccer message board.

Shaud Williams. He's a stud, but if he's too small to carry the entire load. My guess is Shaud and Burns or Gates by committee.

No shocker there, who was that crap o-lineman he drafted in the 1st round in Pittsburgh that he brought to Buffalo to try and prove everyone he made the right choice. That dude didn't even make the team. He has a history of not admitting to making mistakes. That's why he's the Son of Satan! Bad draftees happen, you can't expect to always be right. I feel bad for Josh Reed because he has the tools, the guy caught every ball thrown to him in his first season but I think he needs a change of scenery. We Bills fans are too brutal. He's our B word boy and will be. As for Coy, he's playing the wrong position. He should be a backup linebacker, which is what he played his whole life.

No idea who that is, that video wasn't taken by me, rather someone else in the Sam's Army section. Another Video -- From US Soccer
