Another 3 years before the Bills are competitive

And someone on your's. Checks and Balances at its finest on TBD, expect for the fact that I'm probably more in the right. -

Were the initials JSP on there anywhere? Just wondering. -
The funny thing is Shaud Williams had the first down on the third down play.

No attention to details AD? The Falcons beat the Eagles at HOME and at full strength I believe. I'm not sure if we watched the same game yesterday, but anyone that was at the game I'm sure had to see that even though we played like crap, we could have easily won that game. I'm not throwing in the towel, but this team is 8-8 AT BEST with JPL at the helm. We'll always have next year, right?
-
No way, Atlanta is a team that we should have easily beat yesterday. The are not that good and for us to lose to them at home is really bad. They have a one dimensional offense and a defense that was missing their top guys. If Atlanta is as good as you think, we're in deep crap because we got probably 7 teams left on our schedule that are far better then the Falcons.

Wow, twice in the same day I get compared to b.harami. Must be my lucky day. Anyway, was I claiming anything about my knowledge? Did I state I'm smarter than you? However, it doesn't take an idiot to see that JPL is not a Carson Palmer. Carson Palmer made rookies mistakes but you could see his potential. He tried to do too much and force too many balls as most rookies do. On top of rookie mistakes, JPL just looks lost on a football field. His awareness is horrendous and doesn't have the football sense that Palmer does. How you can look at an open receiver and than throw to a double covered one? So to disprove your point, if you theoritically gave all 30 NFL coaches the choice of having either JPL or CP straight from college, do you know how many would pick JPL? ZERO!

Is this the first time an NFL regular season game has been played in another country? I know the Cards played a game in Mexico City before but was it regular season? It's going to be funny watching them play at Estadio Azteca (Aztec Stadium). As a huge US soccer fan, I've seen many soccer games played there and the conditions are horrible. The smog, the heat and the altitude ... and the smelly, urine throwing Mehecanos. The US Soccer team trains high in the Colorado months for weeks before playing in Mexico City. There are going to be a lot of passed out OLs and DTs that game.

Dude, you better watch out. TD's DeathSquad of TBD members might be coming after you now. -
JP Losman is no Carson Palmer. I wish people would stop comparing the two.
-
Maybe keeping Bledsoe would have been better?

As opposed to JPL who needed no time to self destruct. I am with the original thread poser. I eventually warmed up and liked the decision to can Drew but that was a mistake. -
Can it get any worse? I hope not but this doesn't look good. @ New Orleans MIAMI NY Jets @ Oakland @ New England BYE KANSAS CITY @ San Diego CAROLINA @ Miami NEW ENGLAND DENVER @ Cincinnati @ NY Jets

I missed the game due to technical difficulties.

I disagree. Rather, if you think this team is overrated and the QB sucks, you'll get driven out of TBD by TD's DeathSquad. I was at the game yesterday and I'll call a spade when I see one. Losman was horrible. As bad as everyone played yesterday, any decent QB in the league would have won that game for us. Period. But as TD's DeathSquad states, "wait until next year, we'll be great." That's there motto: year in, year out. Kinda of like that "Free Beer Tomorrow" sign at many bars. -
Fine, I guess I'll agree with you which is why I don't plan on putting a lot of emotion into something that makes me miserable. However, I'm not the one that has yet to realize that our team isn't that good and that its QB of the future might be another Rob Johnson.
-
Sorry, it takes a bit more than a couple of jokers on TBD to get under my skin.

Wait, everyone is making me miserable? I didn't know that. Minus the Bills and Sabres these last six years, I'm a pretty happy dude. As for the rest of your post I'm lost my friend. I think the TD kool-aid is making you incoherable.

Very sad story re: former Sabre Curtis Brown
PTS replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh man, that's horrible. Curtis was a first-class guy. -
I'll refrain from calling you stupid but do you honestly think a Bills fan would go start rooting for another team, especially the Patriots? There's something in life called making a point and sometimes people use another thing called sarcasm to make it.
-
What do the Bills fans that were around in the 70s or any other time for that matter have to do with the fact this team isn't good enough to win now?
-
The kid can't hit a wide receiver that is standing completely open at the five yard line doing jumping jacks to get his attention when he's looking right at him. Then he looks off the open receiver to throw to one that is double covered. You don't have to be an expert to know he sucks bad right now. But as I have said, I hope I eat my words. Oh, and Atlanta's defense is top-notch? Please, you have got to be kidding me. Any decent QB would have won that game. So when we lose to NO, will they be a top notch defense as well?
-
Unlike myself, your loyalty is blinding you from the truth. This team isn't good enough to win and its leader doesn't deserve any loyalty. He had his chance.
-
What makes you think JP is going to be able to hit Parrish or Everett with passes? If he can't get the job done with the solid receivers we have now, he won't be able to get the job done with the addition of these two guys no matter how good they are. Our best bet is to what your screenname says and run the damn ball.
-
Whoa ... what's that World Champions stuff on the top of their website. I wonder how that must feel seeing we'll never get that chance.
-
What's your plan? Stay with TD and his rebuilding plan which is lasting over five years now? If I had the effort in me, I'd go find his quotes from his first season in Buffalo where he stated we'd be a playoff contender in his second season and a Super Bowl contender the following year. TD is like the 27-year-old in college still looking for his degree. He comes close enough to get a taste of graduation but fails miserably every time. I hope I eat my words but history has a funny tendency to repeat itself.
-
Fairweather, bandwagon jumper ... bring on all the cliches. If the team sucks, the team sucks. I don't want to support a team that doesn't follow through on it's end of the bargain. Just because you and most Buffalo fans are accustomed to losing doesn't mean I have too be. I spend way too much time, emotion and money on Buffalo sports only to have them make me miserable. So how much longer do we have to wait? This city is a losing city and people like you are just used to that disappointment. I will never be, it's not in me. It's one thing to support the team and another to support the buffons that are running it. TD had his chance and it's over. Get his ass out of town. We got an O-line that couldn't block a fat girl, a QB that can't utilized some of the best WRs in the league, an extremely overrated defense that can't stop the run and that will be without the heart and soul for the rest of the season, and a coaching staff that doesn't realize that #21 is their meal ticket. This team is going downhill fast, I can only image what's going on in the lockerroom. The finger pointing is sure to have started and it's only going to get worst from here. This is all coming from someone who used to always be optimistic. I'm optimistic no more. But "we'll always have next year" right?
