  1. He was never offered the job. TD couldn't have a Lewis has his head coach. He needed someone he could have better control over. Enter MM.
  2. So Drew wouldn't throw to an open receiver either? JP has no awareness of the field, Drew does even if it's not the greatest. We'd be at least 2-1 with Drew right now.
  3. I know what's going to happen in the series finale of Lost. After all the survivors have mentally gone insane, Desmond tells Jack there might be one way off the Island. He has to type in a certain code into the computer and when he presses execute, the timer is reset to say "PUNK'd" as Ashton Kutcher and his crew walk out of one of the locked closets in the hatch. "Hey we're the passengers of Flight 815, and we just got Punk'd!" Then in a weird twist Sawyer shoots Ashton to death and says "Who got punk'd now Demiboy?"
  4. I've been to Cancun about seven or eight times. Lost count. Do you live in WNY? If so, I can hook you up with the right travel agent. We do last minute deals and get all-inclusive 4 or 5 star resorts with airfare for anywhere between 800 to 1100 bucks. If you looking for something low key, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is the place to go. In 10 or so years it will turn into the next Cancun as it's growing fast, but right now there's no better place to go for a quiet vacation for a great price and uncomparable luxury and service.
  5. I just saw a preview for this season saying "Expect More" including a huge twist in the weeks to come. Vaughn's casket wasn't opened at the funeral. Plus, that look that Sydney gave her dad when the casket went into the hurst look more of "I think we just pulled this off" than one of a grieving wife/fiance. Maybe I'm just looking into things so much because I'm so used to hidden things and meanings in Lost. Vartan (Vaughn) and Garner dated in real life until Ben Afleck came into the picture and screwed things up. Maybe they in fact couldn't work together so they wrote Vartan off. Then again, JJ Abrams does both Lost and Alias so plot twists should be expected. I need a new hobby. Last year I would only watch one or two shows a week, now because of my DVR, I'm hooked all over the place.
  6. It was nice to see the show back on track. I lost interest in the show the last two seasons but I think they might have been because of the constant time slot changes. Anyone catch the show tonight? There is no way in hell Vaughn is dead. My guess is the three of them, Sydney, her dad and Vaughn staged his death since he would have been a hunted man.
  7. <whoring myself> Read my blog. You're right on. The previews are very deceiving and need close inspection to see the truth. </whoring myself>
  8. "Can you smell the carrotts?" Or something to that affect.
  9. I hate when people try to compare JPL to Carson Palmer. Doing so is only a slap in the face to Palmer. Losman isn't Palmer, he never was, and he never will be. They came up from two different college programs. Palmer went to USC where they played NFL-styled football. He was coached by a former NFL coach. They played against other NFL-styled, top tier college programs. Basically, he played with and against a lot of guys that are in the NFL today. JP went to Tulane, played for a horrible team where he had to scramble his ass off just to win a game against other horrible teams. Ask any Bengals fan that Palmer's struggles were rookie type struggles where he forced plays and passes he shouldn't have. However, his talent and skill at his position were always visible. You knew he was going to be good. JP on the other hand, his mistakes are far worse than typical rookie mistakes. Whether or not he has the talent to make good throws isn't the issue. The problem is he lacks awareness on the field. He doesn't know how to read a football field and therefor has no idea what he's doing. This is probably attributed to him playing sandlot football at Tulane. Young QBs can overcome accuracy and passing issues early in their career, but field awareness is something that will take a long time to learn. He should be on the bench learning the game in practice and from a veteran QB.
  10. I know one thing, QBs can greatly improve their accuracy and throwing ability quickly. However, JP is lost on the field with no awareness and that is a problem that would take years to fix.
  11. Oh where to begin. 1. This team has been "one year" away every year since Donahoe arrived. 2. I'm sick of being patient, there is no reason we shouldn't be in the playoffs this year. We should have been in last year! 3. I'm also sick of this "there's always next year" mentality that some of you fans display. That's the way losers think. 4. So tell me how your master plan of TD's genius is going to work when our defense dwindles away because of salary and age concerns. Moulds is nearing the end of his prime if he hasn't passed it already and he probably doesn't want to play here anymore with all the crap he's gone through. The only bright spot on this team is McGahee. Unless JP turns into P. Manning, I gotta ask... whatchu talkin' bout Willis? This team needs to win now and that ain't gonna happen with a QB that has no awareness on the field.
  12. My blog is done for this episode. I will clean it up tomorrow. There is some interesting stuff I noticed myself and some other stuff I read a Lost fansite about this episode. I took the time to watch this episode very slowly and tried to keep my comments to stuff that is confirmed or widely accepted. Well, for every part except the part where I think Desmond was in Michael's flashback. I'm pretty sure it was him though. Click on the link in my signature.
  13. Damn, I never caught that. I think Walt is going to end up being "HIM".
  14. Hmmm ... interesting thought and that makes sense. My guess is when all is figured out, the castaways will join with Desmond against the others.
  15. Bastards! The one thing I wanted to know and now I have to wait! Did everyone notice the logo from the hatch on the Sharks tailfin? The best part of the episode was the last 10 minutes. My blog is done for this episode. There were again many things that might not have been seen unless you watched it twice, or three times and with freeze framing at times! Damn, I'm nuts for this show. Click on the link in my sig.
  16. Reverse plays to Moulds of course? haha ... you must have replied right when I posted. I changed it right away to becoming more involved in the gameplan which is what I wanted to say originally.
  17. Bills 31, Saint 10 McGahee runs wild for 150+, 2 TDs. JP struggles to get 120 yards in passing 1 TDs, 1 INT. 1 Defensive or Special Teams TD. Moulds becomes more involved in the gameplan.
  18. So do we wipe the slate clean tonight and start a new thread or stick with this one? [whoring myself] Because of the great feedback I got regarding my recap of Episode 1 in my TSW blog, I will be doing the same all season long as I try to piece together this whole island mystery with only information that is confirmed or pretty-well assumed. Make sure to check it out late, late tonight, just click on the link in my signature. [/whoring myself]
  19. I was an avid fan of the show but I feel like they lost their luster in yesterday's episode. Wasn't Brad-ly Alan's boss before? I didn't sense that was the case anymore. I always loved the exchanges between those too. I think the show needs to be more about Alan Shore. That's when it's at its best. The Practice was revived when it became more about Alan Shore. Did Monica Potter even appear on the show yesterday? If her and Rhona are being written off, that would suck! I like what they did with Tara's ex-British boyfriend. He is just like Alan in every way possible. That should setup a great "battle" between the two for Tara. Even though it wasn't up to my standards from before, it was still very entertaining to watch.
  20. It didn't matter how bad everyone else played because that game was winable if you had a QB with any awareness on the field. JP lost that game. Yes, the defense didn't play great but we should have won that game without a doubt.
  21. My God I'm actually going to say this... Rob Johnson would have won that game yesterday. I'm going to go put a pistol to my head now.
  22. Damnit. Just ruined my point. I can't keep track of teams anymore.
  23. I give no pass for TD as LabattBlue did. This is a do or die year in my book.
