  1. I've been following the Bulls since Turner Gill arrived and it's amazing how much he has transformed the program. They are just an absolute fun team to watch and they were literally two plays away from being 8-2 this season. It's been a great season so far but they were inches away from it being phenomenal. It still can be with a win on Friday. With the size of UB, there have been rumblings of a possible move to The Big East in the past but the school needed respectability and better attendance. They are quickly getting there. UB is obviously a huge school with a good name that would be a great fit for a more established conference like The Big East if their sports were up to snuff. That said, the MAC is quietly becoming a major player in many major collegiate sports.
  2. Wow ... bigger shocker there. A blind man can see that Ralph is the reason the Bills are what they are.
  3. I'm a pessimist who occasionally dabbles in some optimism. This season is far from over despite the joke we've seen the last four weeks. The Bills remain ONLY TWO GAMES out of first place with six games to go. They play EACH divisional team one more time, as does the rest of the division. That means each of the three teams in front of us will be dropping games no matter what. The Bills simply must win their divisional games and just like that they'll be right in the thick of it. The best part is Slick Dick can't play conservative football anymore, which if you ask me is why we've lost each of the last four games. Dick wanted to take a safe way into the playoffs and that backfired terribly. The coaching staff will now have to get aggressive, not out of will, but out of necessity. Couple that with a good portion of our injured players returning, anything can happen. I simply don't buy into any of the AFC East teams. The Bills beat themselves in each of their last four games. They have their backs to the wall for the first time this season and I want to see what will happen. If they can win in KC and the Jets lose in Tennessee, we're talking about one game out with five to go. BUFFALO: @ KC, SF, MIA, @ NYJ, @ DEN, NE NY JETS: @ TEN, DEN, @ SF, BUF, @ SEA, MIA MIAMI: NE, @ STL, @ BUF, SF, @ KC, @ NYJ NEW ENGLAND: @ MIA, PIT, @ SEA, @ OAK, ARI, @ BUF Forget everything that happen so far, the season starts this Sunday.
  4. They had a 4-1 team and Jauron decided to play safeball from game six on. He probably figured they could play that way and coast into the playoffs. Trent hasn't been right the last few weeks, and I put a lot of that on coaching. If we had a coach with some balls, he would have won at least three of the last four. Each game, there have been critical coaching mistakes with game management that just killed any chance of a Bills victory. With a decent coach, this team would be 8-2 or 7-3 right now.
  5. I'll raise my hand that I wanted him to throw more. Right before that last drive started, they showed the huddle and Trent finally looked like Trent. You could see him pumping his teammates up, slapping asses and so on. They zoomed in on him and it looked like the lights were back on. He wanted a chance to redeem himself and the coaching staff had another epic failure.
  6. Who cares if he was throwing to Lynch all night. It was working. He had a terrible first half, everyone knows that. But I had complete faith that Trent would lead us down the field when it mattered most. And when he was 90% there, the coaching staff crapped themselves into terrible FG position. Say what you want, Trent is our best and only shot at being a good team. He didn't play well but the coaching staff was far worse when it mattered most.
  7. They are only two games out and quite frankly I don't buy into the Jets, Pats or Phins. The Bills blew their divisional games themselves. Those were winnable games and now they must win them back. If they do that, they still have a chance. This is all assuming their coaching staff grows some balls.
  8. What was is 6-0 after the first quarter? Damn straight you can blame it on Jauron. He never let his offense redeem itself when it looked like they were more than capable of getting into better FG range if not scoring another TD.
  9. At this point, let's just make one thread and title it "Bills".
  10. I can't defend Edwards' play tonight but it looked like his lights were back on when crunch time rolled around. He never got a chance to redeem himself and the coaching staff is to blame for that. Not only that, if you call running plays, then run the ball to the right hash marker were every freaking right footer kicker would want it. Instead they call a play to run left?
  11. I'm no expert but on the plays that they showed from the wide-angle cameras, Evans rarely, if ever, looked open UNTIL after Trent was forced out of the pocket. Even if Hamilton was right and Evans was open, I want my #1 WR to get in my QBs face and let him know. It just doesn't seem like Evans wants to be that guy on the field.
  12. Forget Trent, Jauron, Turk and Norwood. Ralph C. Wilson, Jr is our biggest problem. Our good ole, classy owner. This franchise is a joke and he's to blame for it. I think Jerry Jones would have fired Wade Phillips on the spot if he pulled that run crap at the end of the game like Tricky Dick did. You simply can't go from contenders to pretenders in a matter of weeks and not have any consequences. Someone needs to be held accountable. On a side note, Trent's obviously not right but I wouldn't give up on him. I thought he pulled himself together and was "somewhat" useful in the second half. That said, Lee Evans sucked just as bad tonight. That guy isn't a #1 WR. He just doesn't create space for himself. It all comes back to coaching. Jauron's staff should be packing their things right now if we had an owner that gave a damn. Jauron's play not to lose football is why we lost our last four games. He's obviously not changing his style. The Bills aren't a great team but they could have easily won at least three of those games if they had coaches with some brains and some balls. Until Ralph understands the importance of a good coach, we'll be a marginal team at best.
  13. It's not Time Warner. It was every provider including Over The Air.
  14. PA can't be called yet. If it was called, I'm not surprised it was by MSNBC.
  15. Too many people thought this team would be 13-3 looking at the schedule, and I'll include myself. We still have a young team that's learning to win. They beat themselves twice in the past two weeks. The Jets and Phins were not better teams. The Bills, even without their best effort, should have won both games. That said, they didn't. So better get the frustration out now than later in the season. We should know it's never going to be easy in Buffalo. I'm sure they'll find away to get the wagon rolling the right direction again. This season and the future are still bright. Just correct the damn mistakes and find a way to run the damn ball.
  16. That just might be the dumbest rule I've ever heard of.
  17. At what point should we just abandon the run and go with five wideouts?
  18. Not if we can't run for crap. The lack of running game is now killing the passing game.
  19. That's the same linesman that f--ked us with the Stevie Jackson catch and Fred Jackson 4th down run.
  20. I'm calling a McKelvin TD return to start the 2nd half. All will be well.
  21. Terrible call on the 4th and one but I just went back and the spot they gave Freddie was about one full yard short of where he was. The linesman that was on the Jets sideline had the correct spot but they handed the ball to the linesman from the other side who couldn't see where the ball was. BTW: Terrible replay by Jauron.
  22. Man, some of you need to calm down. The fumble wasn't Edwards' fault, the INT was but Roscoe definitely slipped as the ball was thrown. He was unlucky, it happens sometimes. I'm sure he will be fine. Now the run blocking, that to me is a BIG problem.
