Dick Jauron photoshopped out of team photo?
PTS replied to joshfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ralph: "Do it now." Photographer: "Uh, Mr. Jauron, can you come up here for the a second." Dick: "Why?" Photographer: "Umm, I want your input on the photo, ya know, to see if it's good." Dick gets up and walks behind the camera. Ralph and Ross shift over. Dick: "OK, where's the photo?" Photographer: "Just hold down that circular button for two seconds." CLICK. -
They lost to an 11-0 team. Hardly a demise. Are they as good as they've been, no, but they are still far better than our Bills.

The Kramer and Leon scenes last week were epic. Gotta give kudos to Michael Richards for poking fun at his "unfortunate" meltdown a few years ago.

Curb has always been a great show for those of us in Seinfeld withdrawal but Sunday night's pseudo reunion episode was as good as it gets ... and as close to an actual Seinfeld reunion show as we'll ever get. It's bittersweet because it reminded me of what good TV used to be like. Seinfeld (the show) could come back tomorrow and be #1 for another 10 straight years. If you're a Seinfeld fan, do yourself a "favor" and get this season of Curb on DVD/BD when it comes out. You won't be disappointed.

Let me ask you this: Do you remember if the Sabres won the 1999 Stanley Cup in whatever alternate universe you lived in? As the previous poster stated, Lindy Ruff was never an interim coach, at least in this universe. Ted Nolan wanted a longer -- more "permanent" deal -- and the Sabres never offered it to him. They gave Ruff the job and he had a rough first month but eventually rebounded very well.

If they only fire Jauron and bring in a replacement, I don't care who that replacement is, this team won't be going anywhere. Jauron's not a good coach but in this case he's just the tip of the iceberg. They need to fire every single person in the football department.

Nope, just the Buffalo Bills franchise.
-
NO! It's SAN FRANCISCO

So a radical muslim goes off at a US military installation and he's not a terrorist but a "wacko who feared deployment"? Bull ****.

Turner Gill is 10x better than Slick Dick.

How many interceptions will Jairus Byrd make against Houston?
PTS replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really? They should have made 8 an option with the pace Byrd is going today! -
I'll say this again. Dish Network has the best HD-DVR in the business. I've got two such receivers (each received covers two TVs or more if you are crafty) and I can record (or record and watch) up to three different shows at once on each one. I'm pretty sure TIVO doesn't do that. The best part is it's about to get even better. The new ViP 922 HD-DVR will be out soon and it's in a class of it's own. http://gizmodo.com/5126046/dish-network-vi...mes-slingloaded The ONLY knock on Dish is they are still at odds with MSG regarding HD coverage of Sabres. Apparently they are still fighting over pennies per subscriber.

Windows 7 sucks because of an issue with a specific downloadable version on a third party website? Please. Windows 7 is awesome. Period. It was awesome when it was a beta version a year ago.
-
I installed Windows 7 on my desktop and notebook over the weekend and I absolutely love it. I never really had issues with VISTA but that's because I got a new computer built for VISTA when it came out. As for Windows 7 itself. Apparently the software is lighter and I definitely notice the computer booting faster, running faster and using less CPU and RAM. Just more responsive in general. The taskbar is the biggest difference. It took a few days to get used to it but I'm just starting to see the benefits. It's much easier opening programs and files. You're always two clicks away at most from opening any file. There's some other Aero features which are nice as well but in general I think it's defintely worth it.

Losing Davies is a huge blow. He's a perfect compliment for Jozy.
-
Some bad news for the soccer fans on the board... Davis suffered a lacerated bladder, fractures to the tibia and femur bones in his right leg, facial fractures and a left elbow fracture. There's some photos out in other media reports of what's left of the car. It's amazing anyone inside survived. http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/1021...-after-accident

I've had Dish for four years now and love it. By far the best DVR in the business. The only knock on it is they don't have NFL Sunday Ticket but they do have NFL RedZone.

The sad part is they were becoming the NHL's Patriots a few years ago. But instead of keeping their studs, they bet on the young guns and that plan backfired the last two seasons. Maybe we'll see the payoff now?

Myers is easily Calder Trophy material (rookie of the year) and I suspect he will be in the running for a good share of Norris Trophies in the coming years. I hate that I get this excited about a young player but it's hard not to when you see him play. I like the direction Lindy has taken the team. They are better defensively, Miller is a rock and the offense is still good ... it's due to erupt for some goals sooner rather than later. Let's hope this will be a season like 2005-06 where they came out of nowhere. They definitely have the pieces to make a lot of noise, it's just a matter of showing up on a nightly basis.

I've been in this boat for three years. Not to say I knew the team would suck this bad but I knew they weren't going to be good anytime soon. I canceled my seasons going into the 2006 seasons and never looked back. I watch the games but I don't ever expect them to win. I get excited when they do but I just don't care when they don't. I had a huge fight with my wife yesterday before the game. She called me a "terrible" fan for wanting them to lose to the Browns. I honestly believe this franchise is at the point where losing every game is in the best interest of the franchise because of our moronic owner. I'm not just talking about better draft position, which is a plus, but losing to drive home the point that EVERYONE in that organization needs to be let go. We're past the point of wondering what's wrong with the Bills. Now I'm wondering what's right with them?

Wow. After his team beat the Pats in OT he was running on the field pumping up the crowd and jumping on his players. And we're stuck with his emotionless pansy.
