  1. In my little town I never meant nothing, I was just my father's son, hmm-hmm Saving my money Dreamin' of glory Twitching like a finger on a trigger of a gun Really nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town Nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town Nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town Nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town Nothing but the dead and dying back in my little town
  2. I don't know, could it have meant John Gotti? Or one of the old "Westies" Irish gang? If anything, you are the one making racist assumptions and implications imo. If you can't figure out how then you are either oblivious to this or intentionally ignoring it.
  3. I'm a lucky fella And I just got to tell her That I love her endlessly Because love grows where my Rosemary goes And nobody knows like me
  4. So I give you my eyes, and all of their lies Please help them to learn as well as to see Capture a glance and make it a dance Of looking at you looking at me The black-throated wind keeps on pouring in With its words of a lie that could almost be true Ah Mother American Night, here comes the light I'm turning around, that's what I'm gonna do Goin' back home that's what I'm gonna do Turnin' around That's what I'm gonna do
  5. That was an amazing play! I saw that huge hand grabbing his arm and was CERTAIN he would fumble. I still have no idea how Hostetler held the ball. 😒
  6. I find it VERY odd that he didn't mention Orlando Pace, who was at least as good as anyone he did mention, or even Jumbo Elliot (who also had some decent games against Bruce).
  7. I'm sorry, but I fail to understand what race you feel that a slur was made against by the other poster.
  8. As an Alabama fan I was never quite impressed by Kujo. In fact, I posted here than I felt that he was the 4th best blocker on that OL (which by the way was incredibly good). Admittedly, I was actually happier with the Reggie Ragland pick lol. I remember thinking when Kujo played LT at Alabama that Barrett Jones was a clearly superior LT (his career was destroted by injuries), but Saban moved Jones to center. When Kujo was found naked on the road (there were rumors of drug use) I was VERY surprised. There were articles about what a grounded, great kid he was at Bama. The thing is, playing at Alabama is different that other schools. Saban is very demanding and playing there involves your off time, your diet, in addition to your training. As you know, this is where the term "process" was invented, though McDermott does a great job of coopting it as if he coined the phrase. Sadly, a few of these kids go hog wild when they get away from Alabama and you don't see it coming. Saban even had Ruben Foster (who I still think could have been by far imo the best LB in the NFL) under control. I suppose that to a young kid who grew up poor it must feel like getting out of jail and having millions of dollars in your pocket. It's amazing that even more of them don't get into trouble. I think that I would have.
  9. I run for the bus, dear While riding I think of us, dear I say a little prayer for you At work, I just take time And all through my coffee break-time I say a little prayer for you Forever, forever, you'll stay in my heart And I will love you Forever, and ever, we never will part Oh, how I'll love you Together, together, that's how it must be To live without you Would only mean heartbreak for me
  10. Can't you see how I feel When I say love's unreal? So goodbye, it's been sweet Even though, incomplete So I'll cry just a little 'cause I love you so And I'll die just a little 'cause I have to go Away
  11. Well my mind is goin' through them changes I feel just like I'm in the time Every time you see me goin' some where I feel like I'm going out of my mind, yeah Oh, my baby she left me the other day And we were have so much fun yeah, yeah Oh, my baby she stepped out on me And that's the reason why she had to part
  12. It's the same old theme Since nineteen-sixteen In your head, in your head, they're still fighting With their tanks, and their bombs And their bombs, and their guns In your head, in your head, they are dying In your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie What's in your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh, ay, oh, ya ya
  13. Two or three people fading in and out Like a radio station I'm thinking about But I can't hear Who gets breakfast? Who gets the lunch? Who gets to be the boss of this bunch? Who will steer? Turning, Turning To see your face alone I'm hoping there's someone home Dream Do you dream Dreaming Do you?
  14. I will never claim that Whaley was bad at player evaluation. His HUGE weakness was the draft imo. He had no problem giving away the store in order to draft players that didn't pan out for various reasons. It was as if he had no self control. He was however a great dresser.
  15. Tell me lies later, come and see me I'll be around for a while I am lonely but you can free me All in the way that you smile Tell me why Tell me why Is it hard to make arrangements with yourself When you're old enough to repay, but young enough to sell?
  16. Dressed myself in green I went down to the sea Try to see what's going down Maybe read between the lines Had a feeling I was falling, falling, falling Turned around to see Heard a voice calling, calling, calling You was comin after me Back to me
  17. Iirc, Williams also had a pretty bad ankle injury. Not good for a 360 pound (at least) RIGHT tackle (his position at Texas). For some reason Donohoe hated McKinnie and so did many posters. Williams sucked, and McKinnie had a long successful career as a prominent NFL LT. I truly believe that the Bills neglected the OL for so very long that many Bills fans are conditioned to look past the importance of blocking to this very day.
  18. I don't understand this. He was NOT "just like any other player." He was a GREAT player at one of the 3 (if not 2) most important positions. He was easily the best player on the team. The Bills trade of Jason Peters was one of the most things that I ever saw the Bills do, which says quite a bit. It was perhaps even dumber than drafting Whitner, passing on McKinney for Mike Williams, or even hiring Marv Levy as GM.
  19. Nobody gonna take my car I'm gonna race it to the ground Nobody gonna beat my car It's gonna break the speed of sound Ooh it's a killing machine It's got everything Like a driving power big fat tires And everything I love it and I need it I bleed it Yeah it's a wild hurricane Alright, hold tight I'm a highway star
  20. You're sweet as a honey bee But like a honey bee stings You've gone and left my heart in pain All you left, is our favorite song The one we danced to all night long It used to bring sweet memories Of a tender love that used to be Now it's the same old song But with a different meaning since you been gone Now it's the same old song But with a different meaning since you been gone
  21. Well, if I had my choice of matter I would rather be with cats All engrossed in mental chatter Movin' where our minds are at And relatin' to each other Just how strong our wills can be I'm resisting all involvement With each groovy chick we see Well, I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so
  22. Usually, stud and CERTAIN HOF Left tackles tend to make a team much better in the running game, and especially the passing game. Otherwise, your post makes a good deal of sense. 🙄🤯🤨 Yes. Josh Allen is the difference.
  23. 1) Jason Peters (by a rather big margin) 2) Mario Williams 3) Aaron Schobel
  24. Fair enough. Hate was an admitted stretch. Jealousy? Sounds like a reasonable conclusion. Btw, who IS your college team?
