1. This board is going to rock! If we get any help, it is going to go completely insane!!

I know I sound nuts, but I am truly looking forward to see how ICE will rationalize another win away, if of course we are victorious. :w00t:

    This should be fun. :w00t::lol::w00t:

    GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. A fan should show support for their team.  Sure, criticism can be included, but in my opinion when things are looking up, there should be more rallying around the team, not the other way around.  I beg to differ that we are "blind" to cheer for the team to continue winning, just because some of us think it's for nothing.  I don't buy it.

Would you please post more often? That avitar is unreal.

  3. Not sure what this has to do with an argument about steroids/performance-enhancing drugs in sports or even drugs in general. Consensual sex, even among kids of certain age ranges depending on your state, is not illegal.

Not trying to evade the question but you might be surprised. Don't need a tangent here. This has been talked about at length in the AO thread. Look there.

    Nice copout.

  4. I don't have many friends from the board, but I'm proud to call you one of them, Bill.  I think McFadden's will be the destination next year for my annual tour of Bills Backers groups (KRC's group in Pa last year, RICH's group in CNJ this year).  See you then.

LOL, I would love to accept this compliment, but I am sure that you have me confused with BillsNYC. :)

PS: We may be going there on Sunday.

  6. All I want to do is thank everybody for the dialouge, and SDS for the friendships this site has enabled me to make.

I am already anxiously awaiting my 05 trip to RWS, our 12th consecutive.

I will be a Bills fan until they move or my death, whichever comes first.

Again, thanks everyone for sharing the goal of the Buffalo Bills winning football games, and may God bless all of you and your loved ones upon this beautiful holiday season.

  7. You are getting your chops broken today and you deserve it.

That said, stick around. Imo, TBD is a better site by your presence. Here is my advice...if you dont want to lay off Drew, just enjoy the wins (although I think that Drew deserves a break). We are going to kick the dog**** out of Cleveland on Sunday.

Come on board and bask in the fun with us. You ARE after all a Bills fan.

  8. Yeah, but what do you know?

    150834

Not much my friend. I DO know that I will be picking your brain before the draft. I want OL and RB, and like that wr from UCal.

I also know that in 05, I sincerely hope that you spend more time in Lot 1/Pole 5. I was sick at the game vs. the cards. It was a tough day, but the win was what I needed. :)

  9. along those lines...i thought Jerry Crafts would become the next Howard Ballard.

    :)

Remember Corey Loucheiy? I can now look back and laugh. Did he LOOK like a great RT or what? I remember being at RWS and watching him take the field. He just looked like a pure stud, ready to kick ass! He even went to Stanford, right? One would figure that he was smart and strong.

The problem was that he was unable to play football! :) Loucheiy was the equivalent of a LB built like Cornelius Bennet who sucked as a LB.

Wow, it is pleasure to watch Bills football players block a little for a change, isn't it? ;)

  10. 1) I thought the Bills were stupid for drafting Sam Cowart. I wanted Cam Cleeland or Tra Thomas.

    2) I hated when TD traded for Clements. I was screaming for Hutchinson, who may be the best OG in football, but I was still dead-ass wrong.

    3) I demanded Steinbach over MaGahee. :)

    4) I thought RJ was literally great. To this day, I have to shake off visions of him doing well. The kid had amazing abilities.

    5) I did not think that MW was capable of putting together a couple of consecutive good games.

I will not list my correct statements, except 1.....Travis Henry. 'nuff said. :);)

And I will share credit here with VABills, Alaska Darin and SDS.

  11. Yep, that Tom Coughlin sure looks smart today.

    150404

Do you think that he is a bad coach? I dont. His DEs are out to injury, as is a starter in the defensive backfield, and perhaps now a DT. His OL already sucked and he lost McNally, yet they still have 5 wins.

I would say that is pretty good. What do you think?

  12. for all the talk about jennings being injury prone, he's actually missed about 6 games in four years. it's a myth, basically. he missed a few in season one, one in season 2, and 1-2 last year (i can't remember exactly, but no more than 2), and none this year (although he was knocked out of a game by a concussion). as for the mental acumen of ruben brown in assessing other players, i wouldn't rely on it.  jennings is an excellent LT who we should slap the franchise tag on if necessary. we have no - and i mean no - other realistic options at securing an upper tier LT. walter jones and orlando pace are not coming to buffalo. beyond them, you're scraping the bottom of the barrel or praying that a second round draft choice succeeds. the bills aren't in any cap trouble at all and should be able to easily afford it (especially since they won't have any notable dead money next year).

Dave, although I can easily see why you would want to keep Jennings, here is something to consider if you will wrt using the "Franchise Tag."

JJ would instantly become the highest paid player on the team. He would make condiderably more than Spikes, and perhaps double what Fletcher is paid. Jennings is good, but is he THAT good?

Talk of using this tag on Jennings eerily reminds me of when Jerry Ostroski made almost as much money as Bruce Smith, and Fina made more. it was wrong then and would be wrong now.

    Jmo.

  13. Inferior?  Miami's pass D was ranked #1 in the NFL going in to the game on Sunday.

    150016

Agreed. Despite last night, I am thinking that seattle is not THAT bad, nor are the rams. We did also beat the jests. Yes, the best team in the NFL kicked our asses. What exactly does this prove? That we are not the best team in the NFL?

    Who said we were?

  14. Well, there are A posters, B posters, and C posters. Typically, Mark is an A poster, but I would rate this a B for the simple fact that he did not rip Bledsoe enough. He needs to read more ICE posts.

    150003

Fine, but we must strongly take into account the quality of the posters that he posts against.

  15. Good point.  It helps to have a team that is well managed and well coached.  If you have that going for you, anything is possible.

Willis has shown that he could be very successful.  I hope he continues to develop to where he's a dominant player.

    149982

Would you call Thurman a "dominant" player? I would, because he was very good at every phase of the position, and I will call him a great receiver.

In that sense, I think WM has the potential to dominate. If he really does have another step, his running will rival that of Corey Dillon, and he can already do everything else.
