Make that 9 LOL. I know that the competition was weak but Alabama needed to work out a few kinks, and it would appear that they did. The running game was amazing. They had 273 yards between 8 players with none of them gaining 100 yards. Some freshman that even I never heard of (Jamarion MIller) had over 51 in 4 carries. Brian Branch is developing into a game changer at safety. Will Anderson is probably the best player in college football. There is a lot more to do, but things do look a little better. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you put your arms around me I feel so satisfied I want to love you forever I just can't, I can't decide Every time I move I lose When I look I'm in And every time I turn around I'm back in love again Right back, right back In love again (Alright) Seems like, seems like Back in love again

I think that the Eagle House is as good as any listed that I have tried.

OK, when should a trade be judged? Before it is made? Before it is proposed? Do let us know! This should be good.

Every day, love me your own special way Melt all my heart away, with a smile Take time to tell me you really care And we'll share tomorrow together (Always forever love you) And I'll always love you forever (Always forever love you) Forever

Do you remember The 21st night of September? Love was changin' the minds of pretenders While chasin' the clouds away Our hearts were ringin' In the key that our souls were singin' As we danced in the night, remember How the stars stole the night away, oh, yeah Hey, hey, hey Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember? Ba-dee-ya, dancin' in September Ba-dee-ya, never was a cloudy day

When sundown pales the sky I want to hide a while Behind your smile And everywhere I'd look, your eyes I'd find For me to love you now Would be the sweetest thing T'would make me sing Ah, but I may as well try and catch the wind

Again, many of these states are poor. In an earlier post, you left me with the impression that you don't want to get into political discussion. In fact, you made this clear to another poster, So.....I am going to politely back out of this pointless conversation. I am guessing that I would get the blame if it continues and frankly, we would not get anywhere by continuing this debate.

I don't dispute this but your post was about death rates, and I'm thinking that better medical care and more access to it would certainly have prevented some of those deaths.

Smiling faces greet me Everyone's my friend They pretend So sad so sad They see I am happy With my lady They're not satisfied All their feelings died Something in this city changes people Makes them devil-eyed

I think that a strong portion of the states that you list have the worst medical care in the country. Look at the states in the left column after Florida (which I assume has good care). I knew a doctor from West Virginia who did his residency up here. He told me that he passed up lucrative offers in NY in order to go back to WVA because there was such a shortage of doctors in WVA. I believe him.

Someone called me after a positive test and said that she was from the Health Department. She told me to stay confined to a residence that I moved out of 12 years ago. I thought that it was a spam call and told them to not contact me again and hung up. Then, I googled the number and it was legit. Oh well.

I am double vaxed and boosted. Recently, I had ENT surgery for a deviated septim and was doing fine. I came down with covid slightly more than 2 weeks ago and it attacked my nasal breathing. I am better now but I have to squirt saline solutions up my nose, and take Halls cough drops. My taste buds are damaged. I taste mostly salt and sugar. My sense of smell is completely gone. I got my car washed and put in an air freshner and could not smell it at all. I can't smell my morning coffee. I got off easy thanks to God. I lost a few friends to covid. This disease sucks and is evil. It's as if it has a f^$%*&g brain. I am thinking about the next booster but I'm not so sure. I had no reaction from any of the shots but my fiancee did and it was scary. I wash my hands perhaps 10 times a day. Maybe I will make it 20, I don't know. I pray to God that this horror show goes away.

Tua and his sensitive fan base (JA17 Related)

I never thought that Rosen was any good. I also thought that Cody Ford would be a fine blocker. -

As well as before he even arrived and I couldn't understand it. I have been wrong about certain draft selections but I could NEVER understand why so many fans were unhappy about selecting Josh. I mean, what did they want? Another defensive back? -
Excellent. Good for him.

Mythical? Maybe you should come up for air. Do you think that the 2021 chanpionship (OSU vs Bama)was "mythical?" Please. And as fas os OK State beating Bama in the year they beat LSU, no possible way. LSU barely made it across midfield. I wonder if OK State would have made it past their own 30. -
How many miles will it take To see the sun And how many years until it's done Kiss my confusion away in the night Lay by my side when the morning comes And the baby looks around him And shares his bed of hay With the burrow in the palace of the king He's a stranger in a strange land Tell me why He's a stranger in a strange land Just a stranger in a strange land

Reminds me of Big Sam Adams. Many people looked at him amd thought that he was a nose but in reality he was a penetrating, huge DT.

You are correct GB. Do they have somebody as good as Jaylen Waddle or Davonta Smith? No, but these guys were/are proven GREAT players, as was Jameson (perhaps to a slightly lesser degree). That said, this group of receivers might be much deeper imo than the 2021 group imo. Yes, the OL was problematic. Losing Neal seems to matter more than I wanted it to. They need to straighten it out in a hurry too because they face some pretty tough teams in the future. -

I thought that the OL lacked strength to out-muscle Texas, which is a huge concern. I don't understand your "no speed receiver" comment. Leary and Bond (who dropped a KEY pass) are some of the fastest players you will ever see. Another speedster (Tyler Harrell) has been hurt and is coming back. Jermaine Burton is quick as is Holden. The freshman Kobe Prentice is a future 1st round pick imo. JoJo Earle is injured and would be the fastest player on most teams. The closest thing they have to a possession receiver is JaCorey Brooks and he is quick and very big. There is not one receiver on the team that is slow. -

Texas A&M was the team that benefitted the most from NIL. It didn't help them at all on Saturday. I really do fear that NIL is going to bring us entitled players who think that they are great before they prove anything on the field. And as I said in another thread, it's going to be harder to motivate young kids with big bucks in their pocket. When I was thast young, I would have preferred hanging out with gorgeous women than doing what is necessary to win football games. -
I am 1-0 with my under prediction on the Bama game lol.
-
They also might not be. Arkansas looks pretty good too and would probably stand out in any other conference. One point that I wish to make is that NIL has changed things. I have made the point many times that football is a hard game to play when you have a million in cash in your pocket. How motivated would you have been at age 18 or 19 to get hit by Reuben Foster (I'm totally thinking that you know who he is)? Many kids are getting paid BEFORE they even get to school. Not only that, they are free to leave when they choose to and get money from another school. My point is, it will be harder even for great coaches like Saban to get these kids to be willing to do the things necessary to be winners on the field and in life. Don't get me wrong, other coaches can and do face the same problems. It is hard for me to predict what will happen. As for Alabama, they played a horrible game. The stunk up the field last season against Auburn too. Then they came back and beat up Georgia with a less talented team than this one at most positions, to include the entire defense. I don't expect them to collapse with all of that talent down there, as well as the GOAT coach. That said, Saban has many issues to deal with as we speak. As always, thanks for the dialogue.

LOL OK. Let's be sure to revisit this as the season progresses.
