Boomer Esiason suggests the Bills should trade for Barkley
Bill from NYC replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trading anything substantial in terms of draft picks for Barkley, or perhaps any RB would be a big mistake. Besides, we need the early draft picks to grab a few safeties and at least 1 corner, all in the early rounds mind you and trading up to do so if necessary. My motto is "secondary first." After all, it works SO well. -
My eyes adored you Though I never laid a hand on you My eyes adored you Like a million miles away from me You couldn't see how I adored you So close, so close and yet so far

How does OK State look this week? Baylor looks as if they might have a pulse.. Is OK State ready to face a team like this?

He goes on correction officer sites (he is a former CO) and calls them "jail guards." He also goes on sites for gun buffs and posts that too much practice actually hurts your shooting accuracy, and that people who practice shooting too much are "statistically proven" to freeze in combat situations. People get upset beyond belief. Recently, he posted in some kind of Buffalo site that deer hunting should be legal in local parks, and that meat from white albino deer "tastes better." Is he a strange duck? Oh yeah but he is a freaking genius. He is the funniest person in the history of the internet. He is the Babe Ruth/Michael Jordan of trolls.

For those who don't know about him, Hogboy is an ex-poster (troll) on TBD. He HAS to be the funniest troll in the USA. His goal is to get others riled up and he is just superb at it. Well, I was on FB this morning and came across the CBS Buffalo page. In the comment section, he accused Josh Allen of throwing the game!!! Of course, the fans went ballistic. He might not be here any more but he is hard at work on other sites with some of the funniest trolling one could imagine.

A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order
Bill from NYC replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Imo, it's not as bad as you think. Here's why..... 1) Our team was half dead with injuries to key players, to include both safeties and our best receiver. 2) We can pretend that Miami sucks and Tua sucks but they don't and he does not. 3) Despite all of the the above (and more), we lost by only 2 points, on the road. 4) KC lost!!! 5) The game is only at the half as I type this but the allegedly "great" Chargers are getting all they can handle from the Jaguars. 6) The next time we play the phish we will utterly destroy them. 7) Your weekly posts are freaking great. Thank you. 😎 GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Here I was praising Oklahoma State for agreeing to play Alabama down the road. Now, I heard on Sirius that they chickened out of playing Oklahoma. I mean Oklahoma does hold the edge in this matchup (90-19-7) and holds an 8-2 edge in their last 10 meetings, I get that. However, is that a reason to punk out of a huge rivalry? Do they want all cupcake opponents due to the 12 team playoff? What's up?

Patriots and Jets this Weekend - Hope They Lose.
Bill from NYC replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Jets have a poor offensive line and will be lucky to win 4 games. Their front office is as screwy as ours used to be. -
Need it now just a little bit, just a little bit (with just a touch of love) Makes me frown baby just a little bit, just a little bit (you got to) Send fire through my spine baby just a little bit, just a little bit (with just a touch of love) Can we spend some time? (can we spend some time)

Thanks! They are putting in a freshman at Guard who is supposed to be good. I also have very high hopes for Jaheen Otis at Nose. Not a fan of DJ Dale (#94). Have a great time!

I appreciate this question. Admittedly, I had to ponder it for a bit in order to come up with a pertinent answer. In a word no, I do not miss the losing. What I REALLY don't miss are the drafts. Our team in the drought was marked by silly, stupid, incompetent drafts. Now, was there anything that I liked about that dark era? In a way, yes.: 1) The friendships that I gained in Lot 1 Pole 5, and right here on this board. MANY years ago, @SDS posted that he is a fan of Bills Fans more than he is a fan of the Bills. This was close to 20 years ago but I remember it well and concur. 2) I liked being different. As an out of town fan, being a Bills Fan became part of my identity. Cracks about wide right or the super bowl losses didn't bother me, or at least bothered me less than Music City, or Stevie Johnson's dropped pass (where he blamed God). Now, fair weather Bills Fans are popping up all over, which is good but still......we on TBD were in it for the long haul. 3) My daughters are Bills Fans to this day. I think that because of this it helped me teach them not to quit. To not give up on your goals, and all 3 are quite successful. Being a Bills Fan might really have played some role in this. 4) I am also an Alabama Fan for my entire life. Did this help to ease the pain of the Bills constant losses and front office stupidity? Yes of course, but being a Bama Fan is just so easy. A 10-3 season, while possible, would shock the entire country. They don't understand what it is to suffer. In closing, I am still somewhat stained by the losing. Deep down, I suspected that the Bills would blow that 13 second deal vs. the Chiefs, and I am 100% sure that I was not alone. I know that it was a defense mechanism but it worked. I didn't freak out after the game as mich as I would have say 12 years ago. Again, insanely poor drafts are my deepest leftover scars, even worse than the losses for some reason. I miss those days in that despite the hopelessness, they were good times. We truly appreciated wins. I also greedily miss the fact that I was younger. That said, I will never miss the losing, or drafting Donte Whitner. Oh.....I don't know how winning a super bowl (which I plan on) will effect me, or all of TBD. Now THAT would make a good topic for a post, if not a psychological study LOL. GO BILLS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that it is important to note that OJ was allegedly involved in previous domestic incidents, to include beating his wife and tossing her in a closet. It must be rough on narcissistic folks who were once admired across the country to get their asses kicked in a divorce like approx. 50% of the men in America. He should still be in jail but like Bill Kuntsler (for those that know who he is) personally told me, I believe that every person in America is entitled to the best legal defense that he or she can afford. Often I hate the results, but I too would want it if I was in a jam.

I am terribly sorry to hear this and may God continue to carry you and your family through this horror.

Tua will never be as good as Josh Allen. Josh not only has much more talent, he is now good at everything that involves being a quarterback. A healthy Josh Allen will go straight to the Hall of Fame. He is THAT great. But, the above does not mean that Tua sucks, which has been posted here over and over. Tua is a fine QB and an even better person. Does he need more talent around him than Josh? Of course!!!!! Please tell me, who doesn't? Josh is better than anyone we ever had. He is better than even Kelly ever was but again, this does not mean that everybody else sucks. If the Bills didn't have Josh I would be fine with having Tua on the team. I hope that in the future, McBeane concentrates on putting more talent around Josh to make his life easier and prolong his already splendid career.
