  1. Without Tua Miami is toast, despite the great receivers. NE is a so-so team at best. Count on the Jets to fall apart. Meanwhile, we have Josh Allen, a first ballot HOF lock if he stays healthy. 👍🏈👍
  2. Tell me lies later, come and see me I'll be around for a while I am lonely but, you can free me All in the way that you smile Tell me why Tell me why Is it hard to make arrangements with yourself When you're old enough to repay But young enough to sell?
  3. Struggling with confusion, disillusionment too Can turn a man into a shadow, crying out from pain Through his nightmare vision, he sees nothing, only well Blind with the beggar's mind, he's but a stranger He's but a stranger to himself
  4. I am not advocating giving up a first round pick for him Coach. I am however quite sure that he would fare better on the Bills than he is doing on the inept Steelers. I also like the thought of him as an extra blocker for Josh. Najee is one of the most gifted physical specimens that I have ever seen. I'm talking super strength and he is a more than willing blocker.
  5. Maybe, but he can block and he can get open and catch.
  6. My thoughts are with you Holdin' hands with your heart to see you Only blue talk and love remember How we knew love was here to stay Now December Found the love that we shared in September Only blue talk and love, remember The true love we share today
  7. Precious and few are the moments we two can share Quiet and blue, like the sky, I'm hung over you And if I can't find my way back home, it just wouldn't be fair 'Cause precious and few are the moments we two can share
  8. Mike Curtis was one of the toughest men to ever play football. If this idiot collects money from his lawsuit, the doors will open up to other schmucks to follow suit and this will happen at almost every game.
  9. Put on your red dress baby, honey we're goin' out tonight. Put on your red dress baby, honey we're goin' out tonight. Want you to wear your boxin' gloves in case some fool might want to fight. Put on your high heel sneakers, throw that wig hat on your head. Put on your high heel sneakers, throw that wig hat on your head. Honey I know you're gonna get real high, honey I know you're gonna knock 'em dead.
  10. Spent a lifetime looking for somebody To give me love like you Now you've told me that you wanna leave me Darling I just can't let you Baby, now that I've found you I can't let you go I'll build my world around you, I need you so Baby even though, you don't need me You don't need me
  11. I don't have a quote. I heard him say it in an interview and was rather surprised tbh. My favorite year for the Dead was 1989. The summer tour (to include Buffaalo, Philly, and Rutheford, NJ) were amazing, and Jerry appeared to be sober. Brent also kicked ass in those shows.
  12. I totally agree. I am a Dead fan For many decades. Dead & Co. sucks imo. I really enjoyed Furthur with Russo, Chementi and Kadlecik. Mayer is talented but he is not Grateful Dead. Weir is completely finished and butchers every song that he sings. He turned into an egotistic capitalist and the music became secondary. When Further was around, they were paying the backup singers so little that one of them coud not afford much needed dental work. A woman I met is a dentist and fixed the male singer's teeth free of charge. Btw I don't blame you if you do not believe this. This "final tour" is nothing but another money grab . Sorry, jmo. Bill K. is not a very good drummer. Jerry once said that if they were not bandmates, he would probably not associate with Bill.
  13. I can still hear her saying: Boy, I see you sitting out there all alone. Crying your eyes out Cause the woman that you love is gone Oh there's gonna be, there's gonna be A whole lot of trouble in your life Ah so listen to me, get up off your knees 'Cause only the strong survive That what she said: Only the strong survive, Only the strong survive Yeah, you gotta be strong You better hold on
  14. Superman or Green Lantern ain't got, a-nothin' on me I can make like a turtle and dive for, your pearls in the sea, yeah A you-you-you can just sit there a-thinking, on your velvet throne 'Bout all the rainbows a-you can, a-have for your own When you've made your mind up forever to be mine I'll pick up your hand and slowly, blow your little mind When you've made your mind up forever to be mine
  15. Sweet sleepy warmth of summer nights Gazing at the distant lights In the starry sky They say that all good things must end someday Autumn leaves must fall But don't you know That it hurts me so To say goodbye to you? Wish you didn't have to go No, no, no, no, and when the rain Beats against my window pane I'll think of summer days again And dream of you
  16. Last Sunday morning the sunshine, felt like rain The week before they all, seemed the same With the help of God and true friends, I've come to realize I still have two strong legs, and even wings to fly So I, ain't a-wastin time no more 'Cause time goes by like hurricanes, and faster things
  17. I'm not tryin' to be your hero 'Cause that zero is too cold for me (Brr) I'm not tryin' to be your highness 'Cause that minus, is too low to see, yeah Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin' And I'm not stuffin', believe you me Don't you remember I told ya I'm a soldier, in the war on poverty, yeah Yes, I am
  18. Wow, old memories. Once in Lot 1/Pole5 I mentioned to you that Royal was good at getting open. You then told me that teams stopped covering him and I didn't believe you, only because I didn't think that was possible. Well, I had seats in the upper deck but front row at midfield. Royal was not covered at all. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and when a pass was thrown to him he dropped it. Was there ever another receiver that teams could just totally ignore like this?
  19. Yes. I have been trying to make this exact point for more than 20years. 👍
  20. Great points. Now it is time so focus on sfeties and stock up on a few more corners. Blockers and especially receivers should be an after thought, no?
  21. No. I insist on more first round defensive backs.
  22. Way down the street there's a light in his place He opens the door, he's got that look on his face And he asks you where you've been You tell him who you've seen And you talk about anything He's got this dream about buying some land He's gonna give up the booze and the one-night stands And then he'll settle down In some quiet little town And forget about ev'rything
  23. I lean towards under in that game. Alabama has 4 (if not 5) very good running backs and their defense has improved. They also have a freshman guard who is mauling people. This should kill some clock but who knows? The only play I made this season was the under in the dreaded Texas game and it was an easy win.
  24. Dance to the music All nite long Everyday people Sing a simple song Mama's so happy Mama start to cry Papa still singin' You can make it if you try I want to thank you falettinme Be mice elf agin (Different strokes for different folks, yeah) Thank you falettinme Be mice elf agin
  25. Trading anything substantial in terms of draft picks for Barkley, or perhaps any RB would be a big mistake. Besides, we need the early draft picks to grab a few safeties and at least 1 corner, all in the early rounds mind you and trading up to do so if necessary. My motto is "secondary first." After all, it works SO well.
