I hear what you are saying but I want us to draft both. If it means trading down to do so, so be it.

I agree but I appreciate Yolo.

Yes, by far. The Bills Team that lost wide right was clearly superior to the Giants. They were outcoached. Our coaches just did not rate with Parcells and Bellichick. Period. This will be on of my few posts where I do not add "jmo." Minnesota was beat by a fairly good to big margin in every Super Bowl except when Pittsburgh beat them 16-6. That said, the Vikes could not move the ball and were overmatched against the Steel Curtain.

… Stand up in a clear blue morning Until you see what can be Alone in a cold day dawning Are you still free? Can you be? … When some cold tomorrow finds you When some sad old dream reminds you How the endless road unwinds you … While you see a chance, take it Find romance, fake it Because it's all on you

Texas & Zero U to join SEC for the 2024 season.
Bill from NYC replied to Cynical's topic in College Football
It is only a matter of time before Sarkisian builds a high quality team in Texas. I think that he is the best offensive mind in all of football. When Saban retires I hope that Sark coaches the Crimson Tide. As always, jmo. -
Yes, I have heard that Bills Fans being angry is a serious problem in Taiwan.

Yes you are probably correct. Ya know, it really is OK for fans to not agree with you. I also wish to compliment you for being kind enough to wait us out before taking any drastic action that would make us collectively sad.

Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.
Bill from NYC replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
OK, fair enough but where does this place McDermott, the defense oriented head coach? McDermott deserves a huge chunk of the blame imo. -
Daboll/Hodgins - Does their success bother you?
Bill from NYC replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually I am quite happy to see Daboll do so well. Daboll coached under two of the best foorball minds ever (Bellichick and Saban) and both had nothing but great things to say about him. As I recall, Josh Allen spoke quite highly of him as well. The Giant players seem to be crazy about him too. Virgil, the man coached Jalen Hurts, Tua, and Mac Jones. I am thinking that however hated those three are on this board (which I fully understand), this is something to brag about. I always felt as if Daboll was underrated on TSW but that is jmo. Daboll is a good, solid coach and seemingly a great guy. While I did appreciate his ability, I would place him just a step below Steve Sarkisian, who I wish was coaching the Bills, but I doubt if they would match the salary he makes at Texas. -
Not the greatest lineup. Not at all. My top choice would be The Spinners.

Yes but AD, I think that many posters might think that Frazier is the main cause of our problems. The OP named Frazier as the culprit, no? -

Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.
Bill from NYC replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott is the head coach. He also has more power than Beane due to the fact that he pretty much hired him. Fans can gather around him as they choose, and many do so because they are enthralled by the term "process" which he plagiarized. He has been here long enough to correct deficiencies on defense, as well as the lack of protection and weapons for a great quarterback. I dont understand your ferverent support for McDermott but I respect your opinion and obviously I'm entitled to mine. As always, thanks for the dialogue. -
Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.

McDermott is ultimately responsible for the defense, as well as the composition of the team itself. I am no fan of Frazier but if he is fired he will basically serve as a scapegoat for McDermott's failures.- 192 replies

Yes. The team that played in the 1970 Super Bowl. Thanks. I edited the post to include this..... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/kan/1969_roster.htm Thanks.

Which would seem to be quite the tall order with McDermott calling the shots.

I think that Collective Soul and to a lesser degree the Spin Doctors deserve mention.

I would place the 1970 Super Bowl KC Chiefs in there, at #3 behind the Bears and the Steelers. Look at that rost https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/kan/1969_roster.htm Thanks for this post. 👍🏈

They were too small. The Raider offense stomped all over them in the Super Bowl. It was a brutal mauling. That Raider offense was great and from the opening play had their way with the Vikes.

I am surprised at all of the support for Alec Baldwin. It appears that millions of people want to stand behind him.

I would add safeties to the above. There are 14 safeties on that list of 100, and almost all of them are projected to make less money than those at other positions. I also found it interesting that there we 9 corners, bringing the total to 23 defensive backs out of the 100 players listted. Allowing for 3 corners and 2 safeties, dbs represent 22.7% of the 22 players on the field at most given times. On this list of 100, they represent 23% of the players listed. I found this interesting but I digress. It would appear (at least to me) that safeties are not highly valued as compared to almost every other position. I think VERY highly of Brian Branch at safety coming out of Alabama. He can cover, has very good hands, can blitz very well and is a fearless tackler. That said, I would not want to use a 1st round pick on him. TBH, if it came down to one or the other I would rather use it on a guard.
