I get the feeling that over at Clemson, Dabo is just fine with his pansy ass schedule and wants no part of the SEC. Do you agree?

The Myth of the Bills over-focusing on defense in the Draft and FA
Bill from NYC replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall
They also traded up for Edmunds and Elam, and traded away the pick that was used to draft Mahomes. They moved down 17 spots, were under compensated, and selected the 8th defensive back taken in the 2017 draft, this in lieu of a HOF QB. If the above doesn't indicate that McDermott cares more about defense than offense, I don't know what to say. Please know that my intent is not to be snarky. I also do not think that McDermott is a bad on field coach. I do however think that he has FAR too much say in personnel decisions. -

When he was at the combines, he insisted in visiting terminally ill kids in a childrens hospital. He gives huge amounts of money to charities. The man is as good as it gets. -

I am probably one of his biggest fans as a player and even as a person. That said, we need BLOCKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blocking and better receivers. If we could get the above then great, sign Henry. If not, he will just get destroyed just like any other RB with bad blocking. -
Texas & Zero U to join SEC for the 2024 season.

Those stats mean less when you are facing second rate defenses. TCU had great stats last season, right. Their "great" offense scored all of 7 points and gave up 65 against Georgia. The 2021 Cincinnatti team was clearly superior to them, no? When the other Big 12 team did finally make the playoffs (Oklahoma), Alabama dog walked (Kyler Murray and all) and swept the floor with them. The same thing will happen this year if another Big 12 gets hot and reaches the playoffs. Sark has a real chance imo to lead Texas to greatness, and now he is leaving that conference. The Big 12 will probably disband in a few years. -
Main priority is secondary.

You left out the part about the Crimson Tide B word slapping and dog walking LSU in the title game. They were 10x better than OSU that season and 40 times better than TCU in 2022, this with their weakest team in at least a decade.. That said, it IS OK to live in a dream world, and vivid imaginations are a good thing. -
Babe I'm leaving I must be on my way The time is drawing near My train is going I see it in your eyes The love, the need, your tears But I'll be lonely without you And I'll need your love to see me through So please believe me My heart is in your hands And I'll be missing you

Sometimes you're better off dead There's a gun in your hand it's pointing at your head You think you're mad, too unstable Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables In a restaurant in a West End town Call the police, there's a mad man around Running down underground To a dive bar in a West End town In a West End town, a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls In a West End town, a dead end world The East End boys and West End girls West End girls

I agree. I think that one of the things that enabled Franco to reach the HOF was his willingness to run out of bounds when necessary. Jim Brown was highly critical of Franco for doing so. Old timers like Marv Hubbard would grind out that 4 yard gain and fight to the death for one more yard. Franco was smart enough to get out of bounds rather than take a shot from Jack Tatum or some other violent psychopath, especially if he already had a first down. All of these great fullbacks (Czonka, Hubbard, etc.) needed and did have great offensive lines. Franco was a perfect fit on that Steeler team with so many other weapons for defenses to worry about. Was Franco as great as Earl Campbell? No, Earl was much stronger and even a step faster. Still, Franco was one of the most exciting RBs I for one ever saw play.
-
So what? There were more "versatile" RBs than Earl Campbell or even Jim Brown. Who were better runners? Yes, Franco did play on a better team than Mitchell. He also was a better, stronger runner and a better blocker. In addition to that, he had good hands as a receiver. The man was a 225 pound runnig back with corner speed. I respect your opinion but vehemently disagree.

I am reasonably sure that it will. We both well know that football is an offense dominated sport both in the NFL and the NCAA. Some Alabama Fans think that Kiffen was a better offensive offensive mind that Sark. I disagree but concede that Sark did have more to work with, especially with the team that beat Ohio State. That team was stacked!!! Still, Sark was a relentless attacker of opposing defenses. Sark succeeding at Texas is not in my best interest as a Crimson Tide Fan but it WILL happen imo. I would not mind at all if Sark takes the reins when Coach Saban retires. Jmo. -

What are some good, easy meals my wife can’t screw up?

I tried this with sausage instead of panchetta, and I used small rigatonis instead of shells. I mixed hot and sweet sausages. It was surprisingly good.
