  1. I strongly recommend the Eagle House in beautiful Williamsville. Every entree that I have tried on the menu was great, and the wings are perfect as well. https://eaglehouseonline.com/
  2. How about his endorsement of tripping on hallucinogenic drugs? Will that get him in?
  3. Pretty baby I never knew such a thrill Just thought I'd tell you, because I'm trembling still But pretty baby, I want you all for my own I think I'm ready to leave those others alone No need to ask me if everything is OK I got my answer, the only thing I can say I say yeah yeah, that's what I say, I say yeah yeah That's what I say, yeah yeah
  4. Good point. How can anyone possibly disagree with you and be correct?
  5. Within the prison walls of my mind There's still a part of you left behind And though it hurts, I'll get by Without your lovin' yet I guess there's just no getting, over you And there's nothing I can do But spend all of my time Out of my mind, over you
  6. Don't you go downtown (Sally go 'round) No, don't you go downtown ('round and 'round) Yes, because the saddest thing in the whole wide world Is to see your baby with another girl Sally go 'round the roses (Sally go 'round the roses) Sally go 'round the roses (Sally go 'round the pretty roses) They won't tell your secret (they won't tell your secret) They won't tell your secret (no, the roses won't tell your secret)
  7. There are only 4 things open at 3 AM: 1) Legs 2) Bars 3) Police Stations 4) Hospitals The above is the hardest warning for many young men to heed, trust me.
  8. A bit of a stretch perhaps?
  9. Count the stars in the summer sky That fall without a sound And then pretend that you can't hear These teardrops coming down It happens all the time This crazy love of mine Wrapped around my heart Refusing to unwind Ooh-ooh, crazy love, ah
  10. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding your position. I am not seeking an internet feud. You claim that "nothing is more American" than stars using their platform to sound off on certain issues," yet; I get the feeling that you think it is wrong for Americans to root against them for doing so. To me that begs the question, do you deem it non-patriotic for Americans to root against this team? Aren't folks who do so exercising the same rights as the team? Do fans who rooted for them to lose deserve scorn? If so, why? For not being patriots? I was thrilled to see them lose. I am not ashamed to feel this way and think that I have a right to do so, just as much as the women on that team had their right to express themselves. Hey, jmo.
  11. Oh seems so long since we walked in the moonlight Making vows that just can't work right, oh yeah Open your arms, opens your arms Open your arms, baby, let love come running in, yeah It's been a long time, been a long time Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time
  12. You forgot to mention that we actually traded UP for Elam, this in a draft said to be deep draft for corners. Btw, how do you like our wide receivers other than Diggs?
  13. I got back last night. I stayed at the place on Lakeshore Drive next door to a brewery which had live music. and directly if front of the boat that gives tours of the lake which was fairly interesting. The hotel is either new or recently bought and renovated by the Hilton people. They are still working on it (for instance, we couldn't use the balcony because mine was connected to a bridal suite lol and they are going to put up concrete dividers). The area really is beautiful and the folks up there are friendly. That said, the money is pouring in. There were guests from all over the country, some with Porsches, etc. The food in the hotel was not appealing, but I do recommend a place called "Nolan's." I had an IPA from Young Lions which was better than average. Breakfast at a really cool place. I think it was called "Patti's." In all, we had a really nice time. We looked into reservations for next year and July and August were already booked.
  14. I see that worried look upon your face You've got your troubles, I've got mine She's found somebody else to take your place You've got your troubles, I've got mine I too have lost my love today All of my dreams have flown away
  15. You seem to be really hung up on the adult movie thing. Why do you have such tender, defensive feelings for this pillar af the community. I'm sorry that you were outraged by my harmless little joke. Nice knowing you!
  16. Hey, I am thinking that perhaps.....just MAYBE the time he got caught was not his first time at it. Whadda ya think?
  17. For sure, but I did say "funny."
  18. How funny would it be if a vicious pit bull came along and bit him in the a$$? 🙂😲
  19. Well, at least now it is safe to sit in a movie theater.
  20. All around I see the purple shades of evening And on the ground The shadows fall and once again you're in my arms So tenderly The sidewalks in the street The concrete and the clay beneath my feet Begins to crumble But love will never die Because we'll see the mountains tumble Before we say goodbye My love and I will be In love eternally That's the way Mmm, that's the way it's meant to be
  21. But now it's gettin' late And the moon is climbin' high I want to celebrate See it shinin' in your eye Because I'm still in love with you I want to see you dance again Because I'm still in love with you On this harvest moon
  22. Last Sunday morning, the sunshine felt like rain The week before, they all seemed the same With the help of God and true friends, I've come to realize I still have two strong legs, and even wings to fly So I, ain't a-wastin time no more 'Cause time goes by like hurricanes, and faster things
  23. Q) Why can't Michael Jackson come within 5 blocks of a school? A) Because he's dead.
  24. Great question. I honestly don't know. I do however remember the owners (and players) being angry at QBs like Jamarcus Russell and Sam Bradford getting contracts for 50 - 60 million coming out of college. Granted, Herberts and Hurts have proven to be very good players, but if I was an owner I would be afraid of them getting hurt and having to give them 50 million or so. Watson's contract is fully guaranteed as I recall. If he goes down this year, would the owner be on the hook for 200 million or so? It makes me wonder just how much money these owners have.
  25. I think that the NFLPA will at some point agree a cap on QB salaries. They capped the rookies to help veteran players and it didn't work, whereas most (if not almost all) of the money went specifically to QBs. At the rate things are going they will soon make 100 million per season. The contracts given to Herbert and Hurts (and I suppose 90 year old Rogers) are just insane. I am not a financial expert but as a layman, I cannot see how the current system can last. Maybe it can and the QB salaries will continue unbridled escalation, but it does seem like the RBs and some other players (the off. lineman on Dallas) are getting pissed off. Anyway, just a preseason thought as the season approaches.
