Despite giving up 28 points, the Alabama defense is freaking great. LSU has a fine offense and their QB borders on sensational. The HUGE offensive line looks like it may have come around as well. The LSU defense was gassed by the 4th quarter. You could plainly see this. The best news of the game was that they finally allowed Milroe to run. He is an average passer with a very good deep arm but he is a GREAT runner and he needs to utilize this running ability to open up the pass. When the game slows down for him and he makes faster decisions, he will be VERY hard to stop. If Saban can keep this team moving in the right direction, we just might face Georgia in the SEC Title Game. ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What would happen to customers who tip in cash? I'm going to assume for the sake of this conversation that drivers would have to pay tax on credit card tips, and would prefer cash tips. Am I missing something? -
I don't doubt that the percentage of teachers doing this is extremely low, but the bolded above would seem to have to be inaccurate. I am sure that some offenders do this several times before getting caught, and that some others just get away with it. It's the same with police officers. Some cops slip through the cracks and are criminals. I hate to say this but it is true. But, when a crooked cop gets caught, the public thinks that most, if not all cops do this and it just isn't true. That said, I suppose a few can slip through the cracks and get away with crimes, at least for a while.

This is 100% true and has been for years. I know of several women who as students, were taken advantage of by male teachers, and they all came from broken, unstable homes. Sexual predators are good at spotting their potential victims.

I am obviously not woke but imo it would be 100x worse. The very nature of the act alone would make it worse imo. I had a gorgeous young art teacher in 9th grade. She was also very nice. Every kid in my class wanted to do her, including me. I was 15 which is young but my guess is that I would have been OK. The difference is that I think that acts of this nature were quite rare in those days, despite the fact that women did constitute a MUCH higher percentage of teachers than they do today. What I can't figure out is why many teachers now do it, despite the fact that so many were caught, fired, and jailed. Then again, I still read about the occasional police officer taking a bribe from or guarding drug dealers, this after seeing other cops get fired, lose their great pension, lose their families, and get sent to prison for doing so. Wrt police officers, my guess is that a big majority of those committing these crimes have heavy substance and/or gambling issues. As for female teachers, it would seem like a psychiatric condition (although substance thrown in would not surprise me). For male teachers.....pure degeneracy. I hope that the above doesn't offend anyone. It was not meant to. These comments are jmo.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Bill from NYC replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, when the pick for Mahomes was traded away (for a sub-par return imo) and a cornerback was drafted , Beane wasn't there. It was a portend of things to come. The following season (2018) they traded up to take Tremaine Edwards in round 0ne. It took @BADOLBILZ4 or 5 years to convince most of this board that he was not worth re-signing. In 2019 they used a #9 on DT Ed Oliver. In 2020 and 2021, both of their top draft selections (a 1st and a 2nd) were used on defensive players. In 2022, they of course traded UP once again for CB Elam. Wonderful. McDermott started this trend of idiocy. We have a QB with generational talent and continued to use our best draft picks for defense, this in a now clearly offense oriented NFL. McDermott is the defense oriented coach. And when his resource filled defense failed in the clutch he was able to blame and fire Frazier. Beane seems to be much more of an administrator than a football man. McDermott is certainly the man behind the curtain. That said, I truly do appreciate your posts, especially wrt the draft. You are a HUGE asset to TBD imo. There is zero hostility in this post. It's just that I have repeatedly tried and just keep failing to understand how you can possibly blame Beane more than McDermott. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/teams/bills -

Correct me if I am misquoting you but many times you have posted that Beane and McDermott have "equal say" wrt personnel. Once you even said that you think that McDermott could override Beane (a comment with which I fully agree). Given this, why is it suddenly "on Brandon Beane?" It would seem that you are absolving McDermott from any blame, whereas imo he deserves the majority of it. -

Best Bills Cornerback of all time?
Bill from NYC replied to GerstAusGosheim's topic in The Stadium Wall
All of them. I just can't choose. My only regret is that we didn't use even more resources on them. And why isn't Leodis McKelvin on that list? 😖😮 -
Correct and for male pedophiles there is no cure. This is their sexual preference. I met Raquel Welch in person when she was well into her forties. Nothing and nobody could have convinced me not to be attracted to her. I will refrain from posting what I think should be done to these cretins.

Hot take regarding McDermott and the end of games
Bill from NYC replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
The above is a very interesting post, with which I tend to agree. In addition to HC and DC, McDermott has more than an equal say with Beane (who he hired) in terms of the draft. McDermott would make a very good head coach and probably a great defensive coordinator. However, it does seem like the 3 spots that he occupies are a bit much for him. If I owned the team he would be the head coach.....period, and the team would be far better served. Jmo. -

Am I wrong to fall so deeply in love with you Knowin' I got a wife and two little children depending on me too? And am I wrong to hunger for the gentleness of your touch Knowing I got someone else's home that needs me just as much? If lovin' you is wrong I don't wanna be right If lovin' you is wrong I don't wanna be right
