  1. My only question about the above would be: How steadfast is this rule? For instance, the Eagles drafted Landon Dickerson early in round 2 in 2021. I had no doubt that he would be a top center. They moved him to guard and he looks even better there, probably because he is huge and exceptionally strong. I am not saying that he was the most vital piece of their superbowl team, but he certainly made life easier for their entire offense, especially Hurts. Btw, 3 rbs were picked before him which was ridiculous imo. Was he a bad pick based on position alone? I definitely agree with your post. The game has changed so much that drafting a center or even a guard early on has become a rarity and with good reason. The game has changed just so much. What I am wondering is that if there was a guard today as good as Larry Allen, would he be worth an early second round pick? I ask because tbh, although I cannot see drafting too many of them early today, if a kid was coming up who I thought would be as good as Larry Allen, I would take him in round 1. Would I be wrong?
  2. You are right about that.
  3. I wanna say to my sisters and my brothers Keep the faith When the storm flies and the wind blows Go on at a steady pace When the battle is fought, and the victory's won We can all shout together, we have overcome We'll talk to the Father and the Son When we make it to the promised land
  4. I don't love you anymore It's just that simple No, no, no, not like before Such a shame, dirty shame We can't work it out No, not this time We can't be together We can only be friends
  5. I'm not sure how much say he would have but I doubt that Dabo wants to be in the SEC, and I can't say that I blame him. Their schedule is just so easy and they can waltz into the playoffs in virtually every season. This would probably not be the case in the SEC.
  6. You oughta know by now (you oughta know by now). You oughta know (you oughta know); You oughta know by now - (you oughta know by now) Words of love, soft and tender, Won't win a girls heart anymore.
  7. Not one second.
  8. Soft and low, the music moans I can't stop thinking about you Thinking 'bout you I didn't know it would be so strong Waiting and wondering about you I didn't know it would last so long Nights are forever without you
  9. Whatever makes you happy Whatever you want You're so *****in' special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doin' here? I don't belong here I don't belong here
  10. OK, I get this, but; do they deserve any credit for what he did NOT become? Considering the surroundings that they removed him from, I think that my question does deserve some merit.
  11. Do you think that they took him in for the purpose of making money? I for one doubt it.
  12. I think it is a great idea. Picking only the Bills game and over/under in a thread is far more convenient and less time consuming than picking the entire board. Is this what is going to happen?
  13. All I know is something like a bird Within her sang All I know she sang a little while And then flew on Tell me all that you know I'll show you, snow and rain If you hear that same sweet song again Will you know why? Anyone who sings a tune so sweet Is passin' by Laugh in the sunshine, sing Cry in the dark, fly through the night
  14. These are numbers that I did not know. Thanks for this. I quit smoking on October 15, 2015. I was on the patch for approx 2 months. One day I couldn't find my patch and I was sweating and agitated. I found it and decided that I would never use nicotine again in any form. It was one of the best decisions of my life. Cigarette smokers are more vilified than heroin users imo. Both are threats to society in some way, be it second hand smoke or the crimes frequently committed by heroin addicts. That said, there are far more commercials and attacks waged at cigarette smokers than at heroin users. To this day I feel very sorry for smokers. Smoking really is suicidal in a back door way. Surprisingly, MANY people don't even know why they smoke. It is an addiction to nicotine, plain and simple. To anyone wanting to quit, I highly recommend the book by English author Allen Carr. Sorry, I am not trying to derail your important topic.
  15. I understand why the old fisherman Sail along, sail along, sail along. sail along, sail along Someday he'll be gone I'll take a melody and see what I can do about it I'll take a simple C and G and feel brand now about it Shine on, keep on shining, shine on Keep on shining, shine on, keep on shining Shine on, keep on shining, shine on Keep on shining, shine on, keep on shining
  16. I'm very sorry for your loss, and hope that God provides solace to you and your loved ones in this time of sorrow.
  17. Yeah, I was waiting for some sort of closure or at least some feeling as to what he is doing but it ended abruptly.
  18. It was. He was a very sick individual and I'm surprised at what he was able to accomplish. I wish that the ending was a bit more descriptive of his current life but perhaps I'm a chronic malcontent lol.
  19. I LOVED to hear from Crazy Alice and that guy Elliot Offen. They would have me in tears laughing. The prank calls were also freaking great. Now, the show is nothing more than a PC ball washing session for celebrities. In fact, I dropped Howard from my Sirius account and saved about 60 dollars per year. I find him to be unlistenable. Of course, jmo.
  20. Thank you for sharing this. I pray that God continues to bless you and provide your doctors with the ability to treat you in the best way possible.
  21. I saw him just a few times when he played Alabama. He is a (imho) more of an athlete than a QB. At least this is what I thought when watching him. I have a couple of friends that are Florida Fans. They were very high on him at first but trusted him less as time passed. That said, for all I know he will be great.
  22. Hold on a minute.......Baltimore???????? Baltimore IS quite pleasant.....if you are an undertaker or armed felon, or perhaps even a prostitute.. You would be all smiles if one of these professions was yours. Sorry, but I know just a bit about ghettos. Baltimore is a textbook ghetto. It is the only city that I ever saw in which there is no rush hour. You can breeze right through I 95 in Baltimore at 4 or 5 PM. Nobody in their right mind would stop there. I went there once for a concert and stayed at the Embassy Suites. When we left in the morning there were prostitutes in front of the hotel. When we exited the concert there was a police station across the street. Sounds good, right? It was CLOSED. Yes, police cars in the parking lot and lights out. A closed police station. I have been in some rough parts of Buffalo and they are like Beverly Hills compared to Baltimore. PS: I offer my unconditional apology to any and all Baltimore residents on this board. I really mean this; I was just stunned by the poster's comment. Peace!
  23. That is just a wonderful area, complete with GREAT food and nice people.
  24. I don't quite agree with you but I certainly see your point and respect your opinion.
  25. Some of that heroin kills people, especially when it comes laced with fentenyl. It has killed and continues to kill thousands of Americans. The "cup and a half" of which you speak sometimes kills a lot more people than one lady (RIP) and her dog. There are posters on this board that have lost children to drugs. I am NOT defending Ruggs!!! What he did was absolutely awful and he needs to pay. The point I am trying to make is that selling heroin is as bad or worse than what Ruggs did.
