Why drink the water from my hand? Contagious as you think I am Just tilt my sun towards your domain Your cup runneth over again Don't scream about, don't think aloud Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out Don't worry 'bout, don't speak of doubt Turn your head now, baby, just spit me out

Cannabis could soon be rescheduled: from 1 to 3

Yes but I don't think this would help much. I hope that in the future some sort of test becomes available. -

Enough for what? If there is a passenger in the car, couldn't a driver claim that it was said passenger who was smoking the weed? To many jurors, this would certainly constitute a "reasonable doubt," despite the testimony of a police officer who claimed to smell marijuana, wouldn't you say? Many DAs are refusing to set bail for or even prosecute a host of crimes these days, especially in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Bronx. They are not going to bother pot smokers. The governments wanted it to be legalized so they can reap tax dollars from it, just like gambling, etc. I can understand it to a certain degree but meanwhile, the roads are chock full of drivers that are stoned out on weed. -

I hear ya. I'm a skeptic by nature and even have a hard time believing in supposedly organic fruit. -

And I'm sure that there will not be any time soon because the government wants the tax dollars. That said,at some point they will fund studies to say how bad it is and so they will have an excuse to raise taxes even higher, much like they did with tobacco. I am not pro-tobacco. I wish that everyone would quit smoking today (although the government doesn't want to lose the tax dollars) but; I never did believe the government funded studies that prattle on about 3rd or 4th hand smoke. Jmo. -

Well, farmers use them for tobacco. I am under the impression that they cause cancer. If they are used to grow tobacco, why should I believe that farmers won't use them to grow weed? I grow vegetables without them. If I was growing weed I would not spray the plants with pesticides. Now, do all weed farmers use them? I don't know. Do you? Btw, please don't take my post as being snide. I was a cigarette smoker until 8 years ago, so my body certainly took in enough poisonous substances. -

I can't say that I blame you. I doubt if you are spraying pesticides up there, and your future seeds would appear to be at least somewhat more safe than those laced with pesticides. That said, I make no claim of being an expert. -

Speaking of consequences, are they using pesticides on weed? My guess is yes. If so, how will the dangers compare to those of cigarettes? -

You see, I can't understand why Beane gets the lion's share of the blame. I just don't get it. In my line of work, there was always 1 person with the most authority. There wasn't really an "open door policy," nor "rule by committee" back then but I digress. McDermott was hired before Beane and there is no reason to believe that Beane was not brought in by his insistence, or at least request. We all know what McDermott did in the draft before Beane even arrived in town. It was disgraceful. Our drafts have been too focused on defense and negligent of the OL and WR positions ever since. Where are the fingers pointing at McDermott? Again, who has the final say? What I have seen in my work life on occasion was big bosses making very dumb decisions. One was REALLY stupid and cost unnecessary injuries and bad blood. He blamed an underling, who got in trouble. I think that McDermott is doing precisely this. Would Beane have traded Boogie for next to nothing sans the approval of McDermott? Would he be allowed to? Would Beane have traded up for Edmunds and Elam without approval (let alone encouragement) from McDermott? What am I missing?

Marv Levy might be sitting by the phone.

When he is in charge. You don't think that he was a McDermott pick and that McDermott has the most authority?

He is one of my favorite players. I REALLY wanted the Bills to take him but of course McDermott puts defense first. That said, we did well taking Rousseau but I really do think that Dickerson would have made a HUGE difference on our Bills. Did you see him carrying Coach Saban on the field after title game? -

Your thought above makes total sense, unless of course Leatherwood is injured, or having other problems. In the short video I posted, he was a freshman stepping in for an injured Jonah Williams. He was also a teammate of Eagle guard Landon Dickerson in the 2021 title game. Leatherwood has plenty of experience at guard as well. Again, I have no way of knowing what type of problem he may or may not have but I agree with you in that he really might be worth a look. The NFL isn't for everybody but he was an excellent college player. -

OL Alex Leatherwood was cut by the Bears. He was previously cut by the Raiders after being drafted in the 1st round. I don't know what problems he is having but he was a VERY good LT at Alabama and he never got in any off field trouble that I am aware of. For all I know he is a total bust. Getting cut twice would certainly indicate this. i don't even know if he is worth a look but if the Bills claim him, it might be interesting. Leatherwood was the LT who threw the nice block in the famous pass in the title game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFpmYE4XOO0 -

McDermott traded UP for a 19 year old MLB in a passing league. Of course I do not blame Edmunds but it was an idiotic move. He would have had to be almost as great as Ray Lewis for this ill advised, poorly thought trade to have paid off.

I would think that you would be used to this. Folks are still bashing HOF bound LT Jason Peters, no?
